First Charmed fic. I couldn't help it I'm just in love with this pairing. AU, and set in the mausoleum.

Disclaimer: I do not own Charmed.

Witch's Intuition

What was it about her that just made her the perfect witch to fall for a demon, not once but twice?

Yeah, she had fallen for a ghost once, but two demons – that really said something about her didn't it? Though she wasn't like Prue with her pride – or Phoebe with her carefree (more like careless) attitude for that matter – Piper still didn't exactly relish the idea of being known as the Charmed One who just happened to fall for two demons… Never mind the fact that one just so happened to be Belthazor, the most powerful of them all apparently.

But he was trying to reform; Be-Cole didn't want to be evil anymore. And it was because of her that he was trying to get more in touch with his human side. She couldn't help but feel pride at that, no matter how dire the situation.

"Piper."

She looked up, brown eyes locking with his green. Shaking her hair out of her face she bit her bottom lip, trying to listen out for her sisters. "I… I won't let them hurt you, Cole."

Her murmur caused Cole to raise both his eyebrows. "Really?" He didn't sound all that surprised.

"But… I may not be going to let them hurt you, but," She stepped closer to him, craning her neck to stare into his eyes, "If you even attempt to hurt my family – which, just so ya know, includes Leo too – then I will vanquish your sorry ass."

Though she saw amusement in his eyes and the slight curve of his lips, his inquiring expression didn't waver. He took a step forward, so they stood mere inches from one another, and he stared down at her (damn her height) for a moment before a full-blown smile overtook his lips. "Well," He cleared his throat, "If I do attempt such a thing, my sorry ass will be yours for the taking." His dry tone made her want to smile. At least some things never changed.

She moved even closer to him, a flirtatious tone colouring her light voice as she raised her eyebrows, "Is that a promise, Mr Turner?" She could hear them coming. They were getting close…

"Yes. It was, Ms Halliwell."

"Hmm…"

He craned his neck and covered her lips with his, only to pull back two seconds later at the distant, echoing sound of Prue's voice. "Piper...? Piper?"

Cole reached for his tie with tensing fingers, and jerked his head to the side, stiffening.

Though her heart sped up she made her voice steady, "I won't let them hurt you." A firm, almost promise spoken with steely determination.

A sharp intake of breath, then, "I believe you."

Piper turned towards the stairs, to the sound of her sisters' ever nearing voices. She reached behind her, grasping Cole's hand in her own, relishing in his presence.

She called out, "Down here," never loosening her hand in his, never letting go. Even though their possible undoing was nearing.

Plz review if you liked it enough to fav. It'd be nice to know some more Piper/Cole shippers. :)
