A/N: And I have a graphic to go along with this on my Tumblr.
I really love this pairing. I can't help it.
Influence
pairing; Fred/Draco
They watched Filch slink away. As he turned the corner, Fred snatched the slip of paper from Draco's hand. "What'd you get?" he asked, scanning the paper with ill-concealed delight.
"Two weeks," Draco replied, looking at Fred in annoyance.
"Oh, I've been a good influence on you."
"No you haven't, it's not as if I was—chucking dungbombs, or whatever it is you get up to."
"'Whatever it is I get up to'? For shame, Drake, for shame."
"How many times do I need to tell you not to call me that?"
"A few more, at least," Fred responded with what could only be described as a cackle.
"Well cut it out."
"Maybe. For a kiss."
Fred was being anything but quiet, and his suggested deal garnered the pair several strange looks from a group of passing students. He apparently didn't notice, but Draco did and hissed, "Can't you keep your voice down?" after the other students left the corridor.
"I could," Fred admitted. "But there is one condition."
"And what it is?" Draco asked warily.
"I wonder if you could guess."
"Same as your requirement about the nickname?"
"Yep."
Draco waited several long moments as another gaggle of chattering students walked through the corridor. As soon as they disappeared behind the corner Draco leaned up and kissed him. His plan was to end the kiss before anyone else had the chance to come by; but Fred seemed to know this somehow, and Draco quickly lost any control he had over the kiss when Fred's hands almost immediately went to the back of his head, and he had little hope of escaping his hold. When Fred deepened the kiss Draco was sure he wouldn't have been the one to end it in the first place—but in the back of his mind, Fred taking complete control still bothered him.
Fred eventually pulled back from the kiss and rested his forehead against Draco's, loosening his hold on him but not letting go entirely. The kiss left Draco breathless; Fred always seemed able to do that. But he could hear Fred's own uneven breathing, and it gave him a sense of smug satisfaction.
As would be expected, Fred was the first one to speak again. "That was fun."
"You really know how to kill a moment," Draco remarked tonelessly.
"On the contrary, I'd say we just had a rather nice moment—"
"Don't you ever shut up?"
"Nope. Never."
