"Awwww yeeeah, what it is, motherfuckers? Bitches don't know 'bout JadeYu*nit, but they will! And ya'll know they gonna be linin' up to see my sweet moves! Yeah, you heard right, Jaden motherfuckin' Yuki in the hizzouse now, G, whaaaaaaat? Aw, shiiiit naw, you got somethin' to say, punk? You talkin' to me? I said are you talkin' to me?"

Just as he was looming all up in his mirror's business and angling a threatening glare at the offending object that clearly said you best check yourself before you wreck yourself, the sound of muffled laughter reached Jaden's ears. Whirling around, his eyes came to rest on the figure of Yusei Fudou hovering in the doorway, his eyes dancing with amusement.

Peering sheepishly over the rims of his sunglasses, Jaden aimed a grin in the other boy's direction. "Oh, uh, hey, Yusei. How long you been standing there?"

"Long enough," Yusei replied, moving into the room and giving Jaden's outfit a skeptical look.

"…you like my bling?" Jaden asked, trying to sound as innocent as possible despite his being decked out in a full-on gangsta rap ensemble, complete with backwards hat and gold rings on nearly every finger.

"It's very… shiny," Yusei offered, looking for all intents and purposes as if he were trying not to laugh. Again. Apparently, this was much easier said than done, even for someone as reserved as Yusei. He made a valiant effort, however, narrowly managing to stifle another laugh by covering his mouth and pretending to cough.

"So," he started again once he had recovered, lips still quirked up in the hint of a smile. "I guess once the… uh… respectable ladiesfind out about you, I'll have to start waiting in line when I want to see you?"

Jaden, ever the epitome of grace, gave a loud snort in response. "No way, man, you're my boy! You totally get VIP backstage access whenever you want, and you better be there backing me up at all my shows or I might not be able to go on."

"I don't know, Jade Unit," teased Yusei, somehow putting on a serious face. "It's not really my scene. Plus, your rapping is kind of… Well, you've got quite a mouth on you, that's for sure."

And just like that, Jaden snapped back into rapper mode, sidling up to Yusei and leaning in close, a suggestive smirk lighting up his features. "Aw, that's a'ight, baby, you can act like you hatin' all you want to! But how 'bout you come on back to my crib and I show you what this dirty mouth can really do, hm? Let JadeYu*nit give you a little somethin' somethin'to talk about and then we'll see how much you like the scene, you get what I'm sayin'?"

In all honestly, Jaden wasn't completely oblivious to the fact that, more often than not, he came off as completely ridiculous in most people's eyes. But if it meant that Yusei Fudou would smile as openly and laugh as genuinely as he was right now? Well, if that was the case, then Jaden was willing to act a fool every day of the week.

A/N: I've realized that there might be some confusion concerning the two different spellings of Jaden's rapper name. To clarify, Jaden calls himself JadeYu*nit because - in his mind - making a play on words (Yuki + unit = Yunit) and tossing in a superfluous typographical symbol (*) makes his rapper name more "legit." Of course, there would be no way for anyone to know it wasn't "Jade Unit" unless they saw the name written down, which is why the name is spelled differently when Yusei says it.

Hope that clears things up!
