Father's teasing

Summary: Ryoma can't believe how well his parents are taking his relationship with Atobe. Even with his father's teasing it shows he's happy for him which shocks Ryoma to the core. He thought his father would be hard to please even after Atobe kisses him in front of his parents.

With a smirk on his lips, Nanjiroh calls out to his son who been eating, "So Ryoma when are we going to be meeting this mysterious person you've been going out with?"

Ryoma spits out his food furrowing his brows unsure how to answer the particular question his father asked. He shrugs his shoulders taking another bite ignoring the expectant look in his father's face. He continues eating not caring if he's driving Nanjiroh up the wall.

"Brat," The man growls out with annoyance earning a smirk from the young teen who glance at his phone to see a message.

'Ryoma what time do you want to be picked up for our date? Will Noon be efficient for you?'

'That is fine Monkey King.'

"Thank you for breakfast mom," Ryoma said nodding to his mother gong to his room to change quickly seeing it's nearing eleven and he knows Keigo has a darn habit of showing up an hour early so they could spend some time together cuddling.

The sound of the door bell rings through the Echizen residence gets Ryoma to stiffen especially when his mother Rinko answers the door, "Yes young man?"

"Is Ryoma Echizen in?" The cool voice of his boyfriend filters in the teen's ears.

Heart hammering in his chest at the sound of Keigo Atobe's voice sends many other emotions running in Ryoma's mind. How will his parents especially take it that's his boyfriend? He sighs figure its time to face the music even if it's something he's not ready for. He dashes down the stairs to find Atobe standing near the door with a cool smile which Ryoma raise a brow.

"Ready to go?" The older teen ask barely glancing at his boyfriend's mother then father who walks in the hall still miff by his son keeping quiet.

"Yes," Ryoma answers ready to move to the door when his nightmare comes true.

Atobe couldn't stand not doing anything seeing how cute his date looks. He leans over and kisses the prince before him not caring if his parents' wide eye looks. His mouth drops open at his father's teasing tone, "So this is what you go for then, brat? A handsome monkey who finally found his banana."

"Dad!" Ryoma squeaks glaring at his father who laughs while his mother just sighs with some annoyance but nods with acceptance.

"He's a keeper son so you better hold on to him before some girls take him away," Nanjiroh tease smiling at his son with love in his eyes which Ryoma understood the message. His father doesn't seem to mind the fact he's dating a guy so things will be alright then.
