(A/N): I've been feeling slightly depressed lately so I decided to write this little one-shot about believing. Remember there is always hope for what you believe. My life isn't as bad as I make it out to be in this story but what is a story with a happy situation? lol :P. Hope you enjoy. Please read and review.

My Life

The yelling, fights and arguments, day in and day out are becoming too much to bare. I wish I could run away, not need to face the one who takes the sunlight out of a sunny day. But unlike books you can't run when things get tough, you can't hide from the world, because, if you do things won't get better. When you click your fingers the world won't suddenly turn out alright.

I don't try to fight with my Mum, it just happens. She never listens or understands. Every night I wish and pray that my life could be a book, the book. I wish that Mr Crepsley and Darren Shan would find me and take me away from my den of misery. Even though it's impossible, I mean why put my faith into characters from a book? Well I'll tell you why. No matter how crazy this may sound, I believe that Darren and Mr Crepsley are real. I can feel it and I won't give up hope.

Call me crazy. I don't care. I've been called many names and that's why I believe I can do the impossible. I believe Mr Crepsley and Darren will find me. I will run away and my life will get better. Just when, I don't know really, but against all odds I know it will happen, soon. I have faith and that's all I need. Faith.

Out of all the wishes we make only the minority ever come true. And the ones we really want to come true don't. That's life and we have to live with it, or so they say. We can bend rules, we can keep faith. We can dream. That's all the hope we ever need. Reality and fiction are separate, only one is true. But that's only if you don't believe. I believe, so therefore fiction and reality are both true. Keep faith and keep believing. Mind over matter. Believe. Hope. Dream. The word is yours.
