I hope I'm not too late to post this. Happy holidays~!

Ah, the holidays. A time away from school and normal everyday activities. It was also a time to rest from finding all the Arcana cards for a certain Rose Princess. To Anis, Christmas was something she didn't look forward to ever since her father left for God-knows-what. He probably just went to make all those fake Roses.

She sighed and flopped down on her bed, holding out the cards above her, Maybe one of them could cheer her up. Anis closed her eyes and threy the cards upward and decided that whichever landed on her lap she would call on. Her eyes went wide she saw which one it was. "Why does it always have to be him?"

Anis sat up and gave the red Rosario card a light kiss. Red rose petals swirled around her and so appeared Kaede wearing a navy blue kimono.

"Whoa! Hey!" He said as he landed.

"Nice outfit," She laughed mockingly.

Kaede straightened himself before he retorted. "Shut up. So, what do you want?"

"Oh, err..." She hesitated before continuing. "I just needed some company is all..."

"Is that so?" He observed her room, nothing that it looked plain since there were no decorations up. His eyes followed her as she went out to the balcony. "Aren't you cold?" He asked seeing the exposed skin of her arms.

"I'm used to it. Aren't you?" She asked back because his ensemble was made for summer.

"Wasn't my idea," Kaede stood next to her and examined her closely. Anis's face was pale from the cold, but her eyes shined with the light from the moon. "How about we warm each other up then?"

She turned to face him and raised a brow questioningly. "And what exactly do you mean by that?"

"This," Kaede grinned and reached for something in his sleeve. "I was going to put this up for my folks, but seeing as I'm already here..." He held up a mistletoe above their heads.

She turned several shades of red as he brought it out. Anis looked away as Kaede started to get closer. "Wh-whatever..." Her eyes fluttered shut as she felt his lips on hers. He kept his word about warming her up when she felt the temperature rise as the kiss became more heated when he had managed to slip his tongue in her mouth. She felt her legs go unsteady, but he held onto her shoulders for dear life, dizzying the both of them. They both pulled away in need of air.

Anis buried her face on Kaede's chest, gripping the fabric of his kimono. "Kaede... Thanks..."

"Kaede smiled and snaked an arm on her thin waist. "Merry Christmas, Anis."
