Becca: Hey, I've seen a few of these though many are not completed. I'm going to see how long I can get through this before I get lazy. Hopefully I won't.

After prologue this is set about a year after Thalia is turned into a tree.

On with the show.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Percy smiled as he breathed in the ocean air. The battle had been long and hard, he was looking forward to finally being able to relax. Percy watched as the gentle waves lapped the beach, the wind messing up his hair a little. This was his home and it always would be. He took a deep breath and turned away from the sea. Percy started walking towards his cabin but stopped sensing something was wrong. In a bright flash of light, he was gone.

Nico grimaced as he was shut in his room again. It wasn't his fault he had dyslexia. Just because he had failed his ancient Greek test, doesn't mean his father had to go all commando father on him. He sighed and turned over. A bright flash and he wasn't there anymore.

Thalia scowled. Out of all the places she could have dropped Aegis; it had to be in the middle of a forest, at night. Sensing something she stood up and looked around, seeing nothing. Thalia rolled her eyes. Her senses were becoming dull. She scolded herself and quickly set to finding her favourite shield/bracelet. A bright flash of light later and she was simply gone, a bracelet reflecting the moonlight a metre away from where she had knelt.

Zeus sighed as the council raged around him. Athena and Poseidon were yelling insults at each other. Demeter was yelling about how we should all eat more cereal and Artemis was hitting her brother over the head repeatedly while Hermes sniggered in the background.

"SILENCE!" Zeus thundered (A.N. This joke is getting old :P)

Everybody immediately quietened, staring sheepishly at the ground.

"This is supposed to be a council not a shouting match." Zeus glared at them all, daring them to defy his word, "Now can we please discuss the matt-" Zeus cut off as a bright white light engulfed the room. Three people fell out of it. Two landed on the couch that was placed by the hearth. The other smacked straight down onto the marble floor. Silence ran through the room as all the Gods stared wide eyed at the boy who surely broke every bone in his body from the fall. They were surprised when the boy sat up, groaning, but perfectly alive.

"Of course, you two get the couch while I get the marble floor. I hate my luck." The boy with green eyes sulked, glaring at the other two.

"Aw, is little Percy sulking. Anyway I don't know why you're complaining. It's not like it can hurt you anymore." The only girl replied, smirking at the boy. She had blue eyes, spiky hair and an aura that told people not to mess with her otherwise they would deeply regret it.

"Yeah Percy, exactly what Thalia said. There is absolutely no point to you complaining." The other boy said. He had black eyes and an aura that just screamed death.

"Oh, shut up. Where are we anyway?" The boy named Percy looked around, saw the Gods and gave a start.

"Oh great. What did you do now, Percy? The girl, Thalia demanded.

Percy frowned, "Why do you automatically assume it was me. I've done nothing to tick off the Gods as far as I'm aware."

"As much as this little chat amuses us could you please tell us who you are before we blast you off Olympus." Zeus stated coldly.

Percy exchanged glances with the others. What was going on?

"Um... What year is this exactly?" Percy asked nervously.

"2002. Why?" Athena asked, glaring suspiciously at them. The three demigods exchanged shocked looks.

"We're from the future, 2011 to be exact." Thalia muttered, looking anywhere but at her father.

"How do we know you're telling the truth?" Athena asked. Another bright flash engulfed the room and a package and note feel on Percy's head.

"Are you kidding me? A centimetre more and it would have landed in front of me." Percy complained loudly, rubbing his head. Thalia smirked while doubled up in laughter. Hermes and Apollo soon joined him in laughing. Percy grumbled but picked up the note.

"Hey, it's addressed to all of us." He said in surprise.

"Well don't just stand there. Open it idiot." Percy glared at her but opened it and started reading.

"Dear Olympians and Demigods,

In this package there are five books. We have sent you these books to help change the past as we want to spare a lot of cruel fates. The Demigods will be able to help you change the past but after they will have to make a decision which will be later revealed. As f now it would be better for you to read them. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, these are books from the future for the Olympians, but of the past for the Demigods. Have fun!

From, A friend

"Books? We have to read books? And here was me thinking that we would be doing something fun." Apollo pouted and sulked in his chair.

"We get to change our past? YES!" Percy celebrated, along with Thalia and Nico.

"Well we might as well start already." Athena grumbled picking up the book, "I'm assuming you'll tell us your identity's after this chapter." She added to the Demigods.

"Yeah, and could you call Hades up here as well." Percy said, glancing in Nico's direction, who gave him a small smile. After Hades was summoned and had read the note they all settled down comfortably to begin.

"Well then, the book is called Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, chapter 1. I accidently vaporise my maths teacher."
