He hovered just outside his soul mate's bedroom, watching him slumber through the fluttering curtains. Lex had always been a duality, but now the times Clark got to see his sweet side were so rare that the only way he could see him was to steal these secret peeks.

Lex smiled. He knew he was being watched and wished he could openly love Clark. Superman wouldn't understand, however, not yet. He'd have to save the world first. Once the world was safe, his plans understood, Lex'd bring his true love home to him, and nothing would ever part them again.
