I DO NOT OWN NARUTO OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS! REVIEW AND ENJOY!

HINATA'S POV

Making it back to Naruto's apartment after the trip to the grocery store, we put away the groceries and set the ingredients for the ramen on the kitchen counter.

"So what do we do first?" asked Naruto.

"Well I was going to make the ramen from scratch and start with the noodles" I told him.

Naruto looked stunned that I was going to do that "What?" I questioned shyly.

Naruto composed his shocked expression somewhat. "I just wasn't expecting homemade ramen from scratch-scratch" he said. I smiled gently at him.

"Why don't you go clean up the living room a bit and watch T.V. and I'll start on the ramen" I suggested to him.

"You sure you don't need any help? I may not be much of a cook, but I can follow simple instructions "Naruto stated. I shook my head at him and smiled.

"I want to make you your first home cooked meal as a thank you for all you've done for me so far" a bit blushed a little towards the end of my sentence.

NARUTO'S POV

I look at Hinata with a blush on my face and smile. My heart skipped a beat at how much she was doing to thank me, even though she didn't need too. I don't think I've ever had anyone do this much for me because they wanted too.

I silently nod my head and make my way into the living room. It was a lot cleaner than when I first brought Hinata over, but it could have been better. As I start making my way around the living room I noticed Kurama strolling out of the bedroom and toward the kitchen.

"And where do u think you're going Kurama?" I asked the sneaky fur ball.

Kurama had stopped where he was and looked over his furry shoulder at me with a cocked eyebrow. You know I never knew animals could portray presence that all but literally said "Bitch Please!" and "God you're an idiot" until I found Kurama.

I just shake my head at him and say "Just don't cause Hinata any trouble you got that Kyuubi" Kurama just rolled his eyes and continued towards the kitchen.

As I was straighten out the pillows on the couch, I decided to peek in on Hinata in the kitchen. She was kneading dough as a pot on the stove look to be lightly simmering. I looked around for Kurama and found that he was standing on the counter where Hinata was kneading the dough staring intently at her work and careful not to get in her way. Seeing that she was ok and Kurama was behaving himself, I decided to watch some TV.

HINATA'S POV

Hearing the TV come on I can't help, but smile that Naruto is waiting patiently for this meal to be done. I then turn my smile to Kurama and notice him staring at me work.

"Do you want to help Kurama?" I laugh lightly as he looks at me as if I'm crazy.

"No? Oh well I had a few slices of pork with your name on it, but if you don't want it then" I teased the fox lightly. His ears perked up at the sound of the word 'pork'. He made a small yipping sound. I guess that meant he wanted to help. Now what job to give him?

"How good are you with your tail Kurama?" Kurama then demonstrated by picking up a wooden spoon that was on the counter.

"Hmmm? Could you try picking this up?" I pulled out a sharp but light weight knife. He picked it up with ease.

"Okay now I need you to chop these for me please, like this" I showed him how to chop the vegetables then let him try, he did a good job. As I told him as such and told him to yip when he was ready for the next vegetable. The dough was ready to be formed into noodles.

NARUTO'S POV

After watching what was the third or fourth episode of The Big Bang Theory, I smelt something absolutely delicious coming from the kitchen. So as my stomach growled I made my way toward said kitchen.

As I stepped into the doorway, Hinata had just set the bowls of what was the most delicious smelling ramen ever on the table. She turned around.

"Oh! You're just in time for dinner" Hinata somewhat nervously.

"Well it smells great and I bet it taste great too" I exclaimed cheerfully.

We both took a seat at the table, but I noticed Hinata was squirming a bit.

"What's wrong?"

She looked down at her ramen bowl and said after some hesitation "I just wanted you to try it and tell me what you think"

"Okay" I said as I started to eat my ramen.

As the noodles and a bit of the broth entered my mouth the world stopped and everything from the creation of the universe to the end of its existence made sense. It was like learning how to breathe for the first time.

I was brought out of my high when the glorious voice of an angel asked "Well how is it?" Everything came back into focus.

"This is the best thing I have ever had since the day I was born" I said and ate my meal until the first bowl was bone dry.

The look on Hinata's face was not of disgust, no in fact it looked like I had given her everything she ever wanted and more. A smile took shape on her lips and a blush expressed her cuteness and gratitude at the compliment. If she was this fantastic of a cook, I might even eat vegetables more often.

'And put a ring on her finger' said my subconscious.

'Hey I told you to quit that!' My subconscious just laughed at me.
