Choices

Say no to choice, goodbye to that theme,

Just go along with the Catalyst's scheme?

Destruction, control, or synthesis, well,

To all those choices, I say go to Hell.

...

I've driven a Mako, I've taken slow lifts,

I've even felt queasy from a bit of blue shift.

I'm finally here, at the end of this game,

And now I am crippled with emotional pain.

...

My choices irrelevant bar this one before me,

An unpleasant way to end my life's story.

Picture my choice, set up this scene,

I have a choice, of blue, red or green.

...

I shouldn't complain, nothing's without cost,

But yet I still feel the plot has been lost.

Is this the best we could do, what about variation?

Could my mind be taken by indoctrination?

...

But a choice must be made, and it's what I do,

Knowing regardless the galaxy's screwed.

But as my thoughts end, my consciousness barred,

I think to myself, "this sucks real hard."

A/N

Probably goes without saying that this is based on the ending of Mass Effect 3. Probably also goes without saying why I think it's worthy of such criticism. :(
