Okay this is for Kaze-Kami-Ha's challenge 'Kid Flash loves…' I've got Artemis and I have to centre the story on board games.

Robin placed the 'A' down on the board and grinned, "And that's five points to me."

Wally blinked at the board, "dude! Aster isn't an English word!"

"Neither is baloncesto, and you haven't even spelt it right!"

Artemis shook her head at the two bickering friends; she didn't think either of them knew that baloncesto was Spanish, and Artemis certainly wasn't going to tell them. Would words in Spanish even give them points? Artemis doubted it.

"Would you two quit it?" She yelled, the statement coming more like an order than a question. She placed down a 'Z', "And that's thirty-six points to me."

She grinned smugly at the boy's faces, examining her nails uninterestingly as they glanced down at the word. Zizzling. "Who's the best?"

"You're the best."

"You bet I am – Wait, what?" She stopped her smug actions, seeing that the Boy Wonder was also staring at Wally like he had grown a second head.

"I'm going to come out and say this Arty because you deserve the truth, you're the best, the prettiest and the smartest girl I've ever met, and when you look excited – by playing Scrabble, seriously? – you just seem to glow." Wally opened his eyes to see that Robin had pulled a Houdini and Artemis was staring at Wally, a giant red blush across her tan cheeks. "Wait – Aw, man, I thought I was back in my bedroom. God this is so embarrassing!"

Artemis just sat there, gaping at the speedster.

"I should probably go; I think I hear my Uncle calling me." Wally said nervously, getting up and heading to the door.

"Wait, Wally," the speedster stopped, turning his head slightly. Artemis continued. "Perhaps a Scrabble rematch, tomorrow."

"You're on!"

Both of them ignored the eerie knowing laugh that echoed over their heads.
