I wrote it! VICTORY. I actually wrote this a while ago, but never got around to posting it... sorry. This was just a little drabble idea I had stuck in my head and it refused to get out until I wrote it down.

Warning! Spoilers for Fullmetal Alchemist, Lust x Roy story, and all that jazz.

You were so strong that day. The day that you killed me.

I attacked you and your Second Lieutenant Jean Havoc, slicing you both with my nails. Did you know I attacked your friend, Maes Hughes? Of course, I had no choice but to do that. He was getting too close to the truth, you see. But I didn't finish that job. Another did it for me. I just cut him a few times and earned a few cuts myself in the process. Humans are always so weak to me. I cut through them as if they're not there, leave them to die and bleed on the floor. They become nothing but distant memories, lost to time.

I left you both to bleed out on that cold floor. You were screaming Havoc's name when I left, so desperate to see if he was still among the living. He never responded to you, but you kept trying. I left to go kill the others. Whomever I ran into I was going to kill and I almost succeeded. But then you appeared again, in all your glory. The wound I had given you had been burned shut by your own alchemy. You had marred yourself to live, to hunt me down. You were overcome by anger and determination. Your eyes were filled with your own fire.

I had never met a human like you before, one so bright. You were like the sun and I crumbled under your blaze. You stood so proudly, as if you already knew you could win against me. I wasn't human. You knew I was strong and indestructible. Nevertheless, somehow, you managed to destroy me, to blow me away. I couldn't even land a blow in return. I was weak beneath you: a human. I couldn't believe how you changed. Something in me changed at that moment, too, as I fell.

I think I feel in love with you.

I've been thinking of writing a full story for Lust and Roy, but I have so many other fanfictions that I'm writing that I don't think that I have the time for another one.
