I thought it would be fun if Castle and Beckett played a little game of laser tag. :)

Kate casually sat on Rick's bed in short cotton gray shorts and an over-sized white t-shirt as she checked her e-mail on her lap-top. She yawned even though she slept for longer than she usually did. Castle's bed was just so comfy with the fluffy feather pillows and the Egyptian satin sheets that was silk against your skin it was hard not to sleep. She in haled deeply and could smell and hear the coffee brewing in the kitchen.

As she deleted all her junk mail Rick walked in and went straight to his closet. "Coffee done?" She asked even though she knew it wasn't.

"No," he said as he opened the doors. He seemed distracted, like he was on a mission.

She shut her lap top and twisted her body so her legs were dangling off the bed. "What are you doing?"

"Looking for something," was all he said.

Kate was actually surprised he was paying enough attention to hear her. "And what is that you are looking for?"

Ignoring her or just not hearing her, he stood on his tippy toes to look at the top shelf. "I thought I put them in my closet…"

"Castle.."

"Where did I put them?" he scratched the top of his head with his pointer finger like it would help him think.

She would have thought it was funny if she wasn't semi irritated by it. "Hello, earth to Castle." she called to him standing up. She walked over to him, still standing in front of his open closet only wearing his silk boxers. Her arms wrapped around his torso from behind and she pressed her cold hands to his stomach. "Can you hear me."

"Oh! I know!" he exclaimed breaking away from Kate. He practically ran out of the room.

"Rick?" She stood there confused for a few seconds and then followed him out.

When she stepped out into his office he was already coming back holding something behind his back. "Close your eyes." he ordered.

"Castle."

"Just close them."

She rolled her eyes and sighed before finally closing them. "This better be good."

"Okay, open them."

She slowly opened them to see her sexy man only wearing boxers holding two laser tag vests in front of her. He had this extremely childish, but hot grin on his face. "Wanna play?" he cocked his eye brow.

Kate couldn't help but giggle. "Castle, It's 9:30 in the morning and I'm wearing my pajamas and you're only in boxers."

"Come on it will be fun." he held one out for her and gave her a pleading look that was extremely hard to resist and so, she didn't. She tried slipping it from his hands, but he insisted on putting in on for her. "These can be tricky little bastards."

"I'm a detective, I think I could have figured it out."

He leaned in and softly spoke in her ear. "It was just an excuse to touch you." His warm, sweet breath lingered on her cheek.

She gave him a big eye role just before he slide the goggles on her face.

"Ready to get beat like how I beat you in scrabble?" she asked cockily as he slid on his vest.

"Castle, I let you win."

"Right," he put the goggles on and gave her a smile.

"Remember, I'm a cop. My aim is precision."

"Remember, I'm a novelist that is pro in COD."

She giggle. "Ready. Set-"

"Hey, I say go."

"-go!" She shot at him, getting perfect shot. His vest made a beeping sound. Kate ran out of the office with him right behind her. He didn't let her get very far. He grabbed her around the waist and gently pushed her to the couch.

"You're a cheater." he said as he straddled over her.

"You never said anything about playing fair." she squirmed under him with a mocking smile playing on her lips.

He leaned down and kissed her. "Best out of three?"

Her smile grew bigger. "You're on."
