Inner Sakura

Recap: Itachi is chosen by Sakura to take care of her while her parents are on a business trip. Sakura is eventually taken into the Uchiha household where everyone adores her but Fugaku who has a deep dislike for her. Secretly Sakura wants to help Itachi in being more carefree. She has met Sasuke and Naruto who fight over her constantly. Currently all of the Uchiha are in a meeting…. and Sakura is the main subject.

Previously on My Babysitter is an Uchiha:

Yuka-san blinked at the small child before smiling, well attempted to smile really. "Sakura-chan, may I address you as such?" After a confirmation she continued, "I don't know if you understand this or not," a twitch so small really that Yuka would have missed it if she was not looking for it, "but this meeting is very important dear. Can I have your word that you will not speak about it outside these walls and only with those who are present at the moment?"

After a while Sakura nodded with a smile, albeit forced but it was there never the less. "You have my word Ma'am!"

"Ah, you may call me Yuka-sama or Yuka-san if you wish." Yuka stated.

Sakura nodded and then bowed. As she straightened once again she flashed Fugaku a look of triumph.

"I refuse to accept this Yuka!" Katashi yelled in rage. Already half way through some signs he continued, "She must be put under a genjutsu for maximum security!"

And that my loves is how Itachi knew crap was about to go down.

End the much needed recap

A few things happened then. One Fugaku swore he would have a long talk with the Hokage about his views on babysitting and pink haired demons. Mikoto was reevaluating her clansmen attitudes. Shisui was preparing for a body flicker. Sasuke started inching towards Sakura and calculating the necessary speed to the nearest exit. Itachi… well that boy was ten steps ahead but even he couldn't have predicted Sakura's effect against a powerful genjutsu.

Outer! Push harder!

In case you haven't noticed I AM! This thing is too persistent!

Yeah! But I feel like it's almost crumbling!

Wait! Inner! What if instead of pushing against it we punch it instead!

That's a great idea! You push I'll punch! I'll have to come in from the top to put more strength!

And so Katashi went flying towards the wall.

That's going to leave several broken bones and a concussion.

Can't say it didn't serve him right.

Stop sounding so snobbish!

Stop sounding so noble!

They are staring! What are we circus freaks? Are we supposed to bow or start throwing flames?!

Or we could throw knives at them Inner offered as if commenting on the weather.

With all the tension in the room I'm sure we could use butter knives!

"Sakura." The young pinkette looked startled to see Itachi now standing in front of her. "Follow Sasuke out the exit. Stay with him until me or Shisui finds you. Go."

"Ok." Sakura nodded. Seize the chance! No way am I staying here!

Ditto sister!

Sakura turned towards Sasuke and was taking a step towards him when Yuka's calm voice stopped her.

"Sakura-chan, Sasuke-chan please stay. Yosuke please tend to Katashi's wounds at the compounds clinic. You both are dismissed from today's meeting. Everyone settle down! We have much business to discuss. First on the list, Giichi what is the financial report of the police station?"

The rest of the meeting went by with no trouble. It was mostly financial mumbo jumbo Sakura didn't bother with listening. There were quite a few glares and questioning glances. No one dared mention Leaving the Uchiha Flabbergasted Incident as Inner had taken to calling it or 'LUF' for short. Throughout the meeting Itachi kept a straight, tight posture with calculating eyes peeking at the moves of the occupants of the room. He was prepared for any unsuspecting fights.

At the end of the meeting Yuka had walked up to the head of the household and 'invited' him for tea. She bid farewell to Sakura saying how nice it was to meet her and that she expected for Sakura to hold her promise of keeping quite. That was it.

After Yuka left the main household followed and then everyone else started to trickle out. Not a whisper of LUF was heard.

Once inside the main house a switch was flipped. As soon as the door closed Fugaku rounded on Sakura who was latched onto Shisui and admiring his feminine! eyelashes.

"How did you do that?" Fugaku demanded with a glare at the heathen.

"Do what?" Sakura asked in a distracted voice as Shisui lowered her.

"Don't play-"

"Tou-san," Itachi interrupted. "I'd like to speak with you and okaa-san as well as Shisui in the study."

"Hn." Fugaku stated as he started towards the study. Not once stopping his glaring.

"Sasuke why don't you and Sakura go color or play in your room?" Mikoto stated softly.

"Ok!" Both children chirped and started up the stairs.

In Fugaku's study everyone turned to Itachi for an explanation.

"When we were non our way back from the mission I attempted to place a disguise on Sakura through the use of a jounin level genjutsu. However she repelled it quite easily. When questioned she looked confused. I thought it was a fluke but seeing her repeal Katashi's genjutsu… I don't think she knows her ability." Itachi frowned slightly.

"Do you understand the implication of this Itachi?" Fugaku asked.

"She managed to repel an ANBU level genjutsu from one of our clansmen." Shisui whispered. "It clearly took time and she was spaced out as if looking at something much bigger. But the fact remains she has an extraordinary ability," he continued.

"If what we saw today is any implication perhaps Sakura-chan can repeal the sharingan which will create a problem." Mikoto said with a weary sigh.

"I didn't think Katashi would react like that. I expected a mild genjutsu to be placed but for him to jump to ANBU level that was more than necessary" Fugaku admitted in a grumpy voice. "In any case we need to be careful. Itachi try to keep her out of the compound as often as possible. The less she's around the less the clansmen will try something. Mikoto and Shisui try to find out who her parents are and ancestors. We need to find out if she's the only one or if there are more. As for me I'll calm down the clan. We need to make sure they don't start a panic within the walls. It could worsen things."

a/n: No I'm not happy about the genjutsu scene. That has been the hardest scene to write. I'm not completely happy but I have tortured you guys too much. Please forgive me? Your reviews encourage me and I do give you permission to chew my butt off. You guys are too kind really.
