~What? No it hasn't been over a year since we've updated. You're crazy! Anyway, sorry it took so long but we are back! For now. And this is the best chapter yet I think. Anyway, enjoy our little surprises!

Thor let out a monstrous sneeze.

"That is disgusting brother. Keep your diseased body away from me!"

"I cannot help it Loki. I have caught some strange Midgardian ailment. The snot keeps running from my nose, it will not stop!"

"Well get some of that medicine that they keep in the bathroom, don't infect me with it." Loki said in a bored tone

Thor dutifully trotted off to the bathroom on that floor, climbed up on the toilet seat and opened the cabinets. His brow furrowed in confusion as he looked at the many bottles and labels. He stood there for a good ten minutes, not quite knowing what to do before he shrugged his shoulders and picked a bottle at random off of the shelf. Just as he was attempting to unscrew the cap Bruce rushed in.

"Thor no! Don't do that!"

"But brother Banner, I seek relief from this strange Midgardian disease. Loki suggested that I try to get rid of it with medicine."

"Well that is sound advice Thor except that you do not know which medication to take and if you took the wrong one you could make yourself worse."

"I see. Then I shall rely on your expert knowledge my friend!"

"Yes, thank you."

As Bruce was pouring out the correct amount of pills for Thor, Tony and Loki walked into the room.

"So, your father was an asshole too?" Loki was saying

"You bet your frosty ass he was."

"Tony! Loki! Remember the rule about language!"

"You sound like Steve." Tony complained

"Is my brother cured of his disease yet?" Loki asked

"It's not a disease, it is a cold. And I have given him the proper medicine so we just need to keep him hydrated and rested until he's better."

"Wait, point break is sick?" asked Tony

"Yes, so all of you wash your hands and try to stay away from him until he is better."

"That will not be difficult." Muttered Loki

"Brother!" cried Thor in anguish

"Get better, or don't, I don't care. Just don't spread your disease to me!" said Loki in anger as he started to leave

Thor ran forward and hugged him.

"Brothers take care of each other and show compassion at the bedside of their sick family." He said as he clutched Loki

"Thor! No! Ugh, I can feel your foul breath! It poisons me!" he desperately tried to push Thor away

Tony just sat back and watched with amusement.

"Don't worry reindeer games, just drink some pepto-bismol. It makes everything better!"

"Quiet Tony, and Thor let go of your brother before you do spread your germs to him. The last thing we need is for this to spread."

"You mean I really am spreading the sickness to my brother?" Thor let go of Loki quickly, "I am so sorry Loki! Forgive me!"

"I will if you keep ten feet between us at all times." Snapped Loki

"If it will keep you well, then that is what I shall do." Said Thor solemnly

Bruce just sighed and began pouring orange juice for Thor. Hopefully he could nip this thing in the bud and prevent anyone else from catching it.

The Next Day

"I shall never forgive you Thor!" cried Loki in between his sneezes.

"I am sorry brother." Whispered Thor in the bed next to him

Bruce just continued to unpack boxes of Kleenex for the sick Asgardians.

"You! YOU DID THIS! ACHOO!"

"Quiet Loki, or soon you will barely have any voice left like your brother." Said Bruce tiredly

Suddenly Tony and Clint appeared in the doorway.

"So how are the two invalids doing?" asked Clint

"You shut up! ACHOO!" said Loki

"Both of you need to leave before you get sick too." Said Bruce

"Don't worry Brucie, Clint and I are fine. Achoo!"

Clint immediately backed away from Tony. Bruce rubbed at his face tiredly.

"Get in here and make yourself comfortable Tony. You're joining the quarantine zone."

"But I'm not-"

"Don't argue just do it!"

Tony grumpily went off to get his pajamas and other materials he would need and climbed into another small bed in the room.

"How does it feel to be with the invalids Stark?" snarked Loki

"I didn't say that Clint did."

"May his face fester for it."

"You're such an asshole when you're sick." Said Tony

"Language!" said Bruce, "And Loki just because you don't feel well doesn't mean you should take it out on the others."

Loki turned over in his bed grumpily.

The Day After That

"Sam, I need your help."

"I've heard about the baby thing from Coulson. Are they really toddlers?"

"Yes, and now four out of the six are sick. Pepper's out of town for business, and Rhodey is busy with army things. Can you come over?"

"Sure. Be there in about an hour."

Bruce hung up with a silent prayer of thanks. When he turned around Steve was there with a smile on his face.

"Was that Sam? Is he coming?" he asked excitedly

"Yes, he's going to help me take care of Thor, Loki, Tony, and Clint." Bruce said with a tired smile

"Good, I hate to see you with this much stress Brucie. You sure I can't do anything?"

"Just make sure you and Tasha stay away from the quarantine room. We don't want you getting sick too."

"Alright, let me know when Sam gets here." Steve scampered off

An hour later JARVIS let Sam Wilson enter the tower. As he got to the floor where the sick Avengers were currently staying, and small blonde blur hit him in the stomach.

"Sam!"

"Steve?" asked Sam as he looked down at the 4 year old version of his best friend

"I'm so glad you're here!"

"I-I don't even-You're so cute!" Sam stuttered out

"I'm not cute!" Steve pouted

It took all of Sam's willpower not to go AWW at the tiny pouting Steve.

"Okay, mister not-cute, can you show me to where your sick buddies are?"

"This way!" Steve took Sam's hand with his tiny one and led a grinning Sam through the hallways.

Eventually they got to a room with a sign on the door saying "KEEP OUT! QUARINTINE!" in Natasha's neat handwriting. Steve knocked gently on the door. It swung open to reveal a worn out Bruce.

"Thank god you're here."

"Hello Doctor Banner, hear you could use some help."

"Yes please, Steve, make sure you don't come in!"

"Okay! Sam, come play with me later!" and with that Steve trotted off

"Oh I am never letting him forget this!" said Sam, the grin stretching wider on his face as he entered the sick room

Four beds were occupied with the pale and sweaty forms of Thor, Loki, Tony, and Clint.

"I think it might be the flu. Thor already threw up next to the bed, it was a nightmare to clean up."

"Don't worry Bruce, I got this. You go get some rest."

"Thanks Sam. You're a lifesaver!"

Bruce opened the door to reveal an unhappy Natasha being pushed forward by Steve.

"Bruce! Listen to Tasha!"

"I am fine STEVEN." Said Natasha before she gave a small cough

Bruce stared at her for a second before gesturing into the room.

"Get in. Listen to Sam."

And The Day After That

"I just made some soup for the kids, you can go take a nap or something Bruce."

"Thanks Sam, I don't think I could have handled six sick kids by myself."

"I did not expect Steve to get sick too, but I guess it was only a matter of time. At least Thor and Loki are almost over it. And Tony's too sleepy to complain."

"And thank god your codename is Falcon, Clint actually wants to listen to you."

"I'm still not going to let him call us Bird Brethren."

"Break the news after he is sick."

Sam began to carry the trays back to the sick room, opening the door revealed a surprise. Sam instantly recognized the tangled long hair of the Winter Soldier who was currently by Steve's bed with a damp cloth pressed to his forehead. He barely turned around as Sam entered.

"You know what? I'm not even going to ask. Just keep doing what you're doing, I'm passing out the soup."

Bucky nodded and turned his attention back to Steve.

"Hey, aren't you concerned over the strange man in the children's room?" asked Clint

"I know who he is. Don't worry, he's here because he's worried about Steve."

"Well thanks for not caring about the rest of us. It's not like we're not suffering over here." Whined Tony

"Shut up Stark. You are almost back to full health." Snarled Natasha through her blocked up nose

"I don't see why Thor and I have to remain here. We are no longer sick!" said Loki

"You can leave tomorrow. We just want to be sure that you both are okay." said Sam patiently

He passed out the soup to each kid, handing the last bowl out to Bucky. Bucky took it with a nod to Sam and gently shook Steve's shoulder.

"Steve, you need to eat. Wake up for me?" he said in his quiet and slightly raspy voice

Steve blearily opened his eyes. As soon as they focused on Bucky his eyes widened.

"Bucky?" he rasped out

Bucky gave a soft smile. He gently held the bowl and lifted some soup out with a spoon.

"Yeah, come on and eat it. Some things never change huh? Still getting in trouble, still being too stubborn to let someone take care of you."

Steve reached up and weakly hugged Bucky around the neck. Bucky blinked in surprise but gently returned the hug with one arm. After he finished feeding Steve soup Steve began to drift asleep again.

"Be here when I wake up?" he asked tiredly

"Till the end of the line." He whispered back

Steve fell asleep and Bucky held his hand with his human one. Sam came in to take away the dirty dishes to see the sleeping baby Avengers and the quiet Winter Soldier still at Steve's side.

"Going to stay this time?" Sam asked as he folded his arms across his chest

"Maybe." Bucky replied

"You might as well. 'Cuz when this spell wears off and they're back to being adults he's just going to find you again and drag your ass back here. Might as well save us the trouble."

Bucky gave a wry smile and Sam left, closing the door gently behind him.

~Hope you didn't die from all the feels. Because SunshineGirl did! Bet you didn't see that coming! (Age of Ultron references AYYY!) So hopefully it won't take a whole year to update this again, but we have not forgotten our story! Writer's block will never stop us from finishing! We are with this story until the end of the line (okay last time we use that). Stay tuned and look forward to more chapters!
