NECROPOLIS

Sam pushed the warped wooden door open, eased through the space provided. He held his breath as the stench of depravity and death rolled over him in a wave. Once inside, Sam squinted against the carnage visible in the ramshackle charnel house, grunted as his stomach somersaulted spasticly. Seasoned hunter or not, this level of barbarity still rattled him.

Strong fingers curled around his shoulder, steadying him. "You okay, dude?" Dean's roughened voice betrayed his own upset.

Sam swallowed. "I'm…I'm good."

Dean felt something squish mightily under his boots. "Damn. The things we have to do for this job."

"Yeah."
