A/N: Okay, so Starisia the Shadow demon here ^_^ Well, There's not much to tell about where this idea came from. it just came to Atsuma and I when she was staying the night a few weeks ago and we were looking at some of my Yullen pictures when one of then caught our eyes and this idea began to form. We thought it'd be fun to write and plot so here it is. I hope you like it ^_^

The creature's silver eyes gleamed with satisfaction as it stood over its latest kill, its snow white fur stained red with the blood of its prey, gore streaking it's muzzle as it began licking the crimson from the black arrow shaped markings that adorned its left shoulder, the pattern vaguely resembling a solar burst.

Its ears perked up as the sound of snapping twigs echoed to it from deeper into the forest, accompanied by the loud voices of the searching villagers, flickering torchlight appearing in the distance, bouncing off the trees to illuminate the darkened world.

The creature made a sound similar to a scoff as it got to its feet and pounced over the bloody form, careful not to get any more blood on its ivory fur, landing lightly on its feet on a the other side of its victim's body and getting into a defensive crouch, the fur on its chest just brushing the stone as the light grew closer, bathing its fur in a golden glow.

Nine pale appendages writhed behind it, each moving independent of the others, and it seemed to grin as the villagers came into the clearing, led by a burly man who held a sobbing woman close to his side, both their eyes going wide, and fresh tears falling from the woman's as a scream tore from her throat at the sight of blood covered girl who stared back at her with flat, dead eyes, mouth open in a silent scream, face streaked with crimson, the tear tracks on her cheeks the only thing that helped the pretty pale skin show through the red.

The woman fell to her knees, another scream tearing free, and the creature's grin widened, its eyes dancing with satisfaction, and it didn't wait any longer before turning away and trotting deeper into the forest, a single gun-shot echoing after it alongside the sobs and cries of the grieving mother and the pounding beat of the villagers giving chase, but the creature was already gone, It's nine tails disappearing into the shadows along with the rest of its gore-streaked fur.

A/N: Well, that's it for the preface. It kind of attacked me out of nowhere a few nights ago and I had to write it before it ran away, and I've been trying to add more for this chapter, but, well this is how it wanted to be ^_^
