Tron Rising

"The grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles, with the circuits like freeways. I kept dreaming of a world I'd thought I'd never see. Then, one day… I got in.

I woke with a start. This was all too weird. My dreams were getting much worse. I sighed as I looked around. No one was in my room. I heard my door slide open. "Quorra, are you okay?" He asked me. Was I easy to read? I sighed. "I am fine, Master Flynn. Just another dream."

My name is Quorra. I am, or so Master Flynn tells me, 13. I am very special, so Master Flynn tells me. I just wish the reign of C.L.U would end. C.L.U was Flynn's chosen one. He was to make the place special, amazing and great. But, C.L.U wanted power. So he killed Flynn's best hero, Tron and took over the grid.. Flynn told me he escaped. He even told me about the real world. I have desires to visit that place, once I become older.

Master Flynn sat on my bed. "You don't need to call me that." He smiled. As much as I wanted to respect him, I wasn't sure why he always hated the name "Master." After all, he was teaching me things, about the real world and the world I live in, The grid.

"Flynn," I tried saying, though I never did like it. "Do you have family?" I asked. Maybe that was a personal question. But, I wanted to know. My family was killed by C.L.U, so the only person I had was Flynn. Flynn sighed. "Apparently so, Quorra. My family was my son, Sam." He answered. I could tell he looked sad. "I-I,m sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's fine. I just wish he could know where I am at."

Pause. It was quiet. I could not ask questions Sam Flynn. Then, a question popped in my head. "How old is Sam?" I just was curious.

Flynn smiled. "He is as old as you are." Then, he walked towards the door. It slid open. "I'll leave you to rest. Because…" He gave me a confident smile "Because you are going to do something important for me."
