A/N: Hey loves! Last chapter, will Lucy forgive him? Or will Laxus be forever alone in his unforgiven world? Was his act to save Lucy enough to push her to forgive him? Well, we'll have to see. Warning, it might just be short and sweet.

Ch.19: Forgiveness comes from the heart.

Moments after Maxwell was escorted off the school's premises, Lucy walked up to Laxus as he was turning to leave. "L-Laxus..?" The blonde man stopped mid step and looked down at her. "Yeah, what's up, blondie?"

Looking up to him, she smiled softly. All traces of fear left her the moment Maxwell left. She felt safe with Natsu and even Laxus now. "Thank you for protecting me from Maxwell.. But, how did you know about him?" Laxus chuckled and pulled his arm from her and brought his hand up to the back of his head, scratching softly. "Wellll.. Remember last week when you went to the mall? And Cana showed up? ..Well, she was with me that day and she saw you getting on the bus. So dragged me on and had me watch over you at the mall. That as when we noticed Maxwell being weird, ya know?"

He chuckled and looked to Natsu. "Well, Natsu, Lucy.. I'll see you later then. Have a good day." Walking away, they both watched Laxus as he went towards the gardens.

"That.. Was odd, huh?" Natsu said as he brought his arm around her waist and began to walk with her as well. Lucy nodded her head and looked in the direction of the disappearing Laxus. "Natsu.. Let's go see Makarov?"

In the office of the dean, sat Lucy and Natsu. They were talking with the old man, who'd heard of the incident. He was quite surprised that there had been a boy sneaking around the school, stalking one of his students. "Well, it's a good thing that Laxus noticed him." Makarov said with a serious tone, the other two nodding.

"T-That's what I wanted to talk to you about.. I.. I don't want you to expel Laxus. He's apologized over and over, and he even went out of his way to watch me when Natsu wasn't there. He protected me today and stopped Maxwell from trying to get to me." Makarov gave the blonde a smile, knowing what she was getting at. "So, you forgive him? That's good, I'm glad. Thank you Lucy, as the dean, and as his grandfather."

When the two teens left, MiraJane and Freed walked in and gave their boss a confused look. "So...?" They asked in unison. "Laxus is not being expelled. If Lucy can forgive him, then that is good. He will live with the consequenses of his mistake, forever traumatized by the cries of ladies when they're distressed.. He's learned his lesson."

The End.

A/N: Told ya it'd be short and sweet. But, it's done! Hope it was good, and I hope you all liked it! :3
