AN: Hi! I know I should've updated a long time ago but I mean at least I'm updating in the same month right? Right? *Nervous laughter* Um anyway, it's the 20th of June and that means LLM is now a year old! Yes it is 12 minutes to the 21st in Singapore but screw it, it's still the 20th in some timezones. Okay once again, the response to this story has been crazy and I owe you guy so much. I can't leave the house much now because of the haze situation in SIngapore so I'll get more opportunities to write! Okay um, please review constructively. I might edit this again tomorrow once I'm a little more sound of mind. Once again, thank you so much and enjoy the birthday chapter of LLM!

Cold lips pressed against his. Hands trailing up and down his back. A mischievous glint in his eyes after they pulled apart. He was always unnaturally cold, Harry noted but he warmed up after they kissed. Sweet slow kisses that turned into hurried, urgent ones as the time passed. Harry missed the slow kisses. Those gentle, loving kisses that made him forget he was kissing a so-called 'monster'. He never thought he was one anyway.

But now, as he sat on the floor across Loki, he wasn't so sure. Loki looked thoughtful, maybe even worried but Harry knew it was just a show. He could see the corner of his mouth turned up ever so slightly and the same glint of mischief he'd get when they kissed.

Oh, Loki

Harry could have sworn Loki was staring straight at him then but he shook that thought off. Loki might not be human but he wasn't more powerful than Death himself. Still, there was something about his slight smirk that made him uncomfortable.

He was caught, what the hell is he smiling about?

Harry looked away from him, to the other two men who were talking in hushed whispers. It was strange seeing the famous Iron Man up close. They kept glancing at Loki while speaking and Harry whispered, barely audible, "Sub Ausculto". Harry now heard them as if he were right next to them.

"What's your thing?" Iron Man asked. "Pilates?"

Captain's eyebrows furrowed. "What?"

"It's like calisthenics." He replied. "You might have missed a couple things, you know, doing time as a Capsicle." Captain looked away, annoyed.

CRACK

A flash of lightning appeared out of nowhere and lit up the dark sky. Harry flinched at the sudden noise. There was a series of flashes that followed after, causing Harry to swallow hard as he tried to repress those memories deep down.

"Scared of a little lightning?" Captain asked, sneer evident in his voice.

Harry looked up, shocked, thinking he was talking to him but he was talking to Loki who looked worried again.

"I'm not overly fond of what follows," Loki replied, frown turning in to a slight smirk again.

THUD

A loud crash came from the top of the jet like something huge fell on the top and Harry flinched again. Everything after that was a blur. The jet opened and a 'man' with shaggy blond hair appeared before grabbing Loki and jumping back out. Iron Man had put his mask back on and was getting ready to follow them. Captain was shouting at him but Harry had blanked out them, the sound of the thunder deafening him. It became too much.

But he was pulled back into reality when Iron Man was at the edge, obviously about to jump. Harry pulled off the cloak and flicked his wand at Iron Man. A yellow ball of light escaped his wand and attached to his back. Iron Man jumped out, leaving a yellow trail behind.

"Potter! What are you doing here?!" Captain shouted as he put on his parachute. "What did you just do to him?"

Harry cringed. He forgot the Captain was still there. Harry just looked at him as he stood.

"Look, you can arrest me later or whatever but let me get Loki back." Harry said as he grabbed his Nimbus 3000 out of the box. "Just go!"

Captain looked like he was about to argue but he just jumped out of the jet. Harry enlarged his broom, threw his Invisibility Cloak behind him and kicked off, flying into the dark sky. He tilted his broom forward, gaining speed. He followed the thin yellow trail of light that would lead to Iron Man.

The light trail moved down as it led to a forest. As he got nearer, He could see a small figure on a cliff, just standing there and watching something below. Damn Loki. Harry leaned down again, getting nearer to the cliff. He finally landed on the cliff, facing Loki's back.

Loki turned around, expecting another S.H.I.E.L.D. agent but his mouth gaped in surprise as he saw Harry. Harry threw his broom to the ground next to him as he clenched his hand around his wand.

"You complete bastard," Harry said, closing his eyes. "What the hell did you do?"

"Harry, I-" Loki said, taking a step forward but stopping as Harry raised his wand.

His wand still up, he walked slowly towards Loki. "You dragged me into this, you asshole! I might get sent to prison, for Merlin's sake!"

Loki looked honestly shocked at that. "I never meant for that to happen, Harry."

"I don't care about what you meant!" Harry said, rolling his eyes. "And honestly, you surrendered awfully easy. I don't even know what you stole but if you had the balls to steal it, I'd think you'd have the balls to put up at least a better fight." Harry was now near the edge of the cliff, directly opposite Loki.

Loki smiled at that. "Just as bitter as ever aren't you? Believe me, Harry, I have things under control."

"Hardly-" Harry began but stopped as he saw something big and silver out the corner of his eye. Harry flicked his wand in that direction and turned his head. Hovering just a few inches from his face was a huge hammer. He flicked his wand again and the hammer floated up a bit. He could now see Iron Man, Captain and the shaggy blond stranger below the cliff. The stranger looked furious and slightly confused at what had just happened as did the Captain. Iron Man, on the other hand looked on the brink of laughter, grinning. Harry turned his head to Loki who was smiling again at him. Harry moved the hammer back and forth, almost taunting the stranger. The Captain and stranger tensed, getting ready to fight. Iron Man grinned even wider.

"The hell is thing made of? Pretty heavy," Harry called out to him. "Good thing I stopped it then, don't you think?"

"Do not touch my hammer!" The stranger shouted in a loud booming voice.
Harry smirked and Loki chuckled softly. "Sorry, you probably want it back. Wait a second." He held up a finger.

He spun his wand around in circles and the hammer rotated faster and faster. Once again, Harry flicked his wand and the hammer flew, hitting the stranger straight in the chest. He fell backwards but got up as soon as he fell. He grabbed his hammer but Harry was faster. In five seconds flat, he screamed out "Stupefy!" and a bright red light left his wand, almost blinding him. He successfully stunned all three of them, knocking them unconscious.

Harry was breathing deeply then, the hair standing on the back of his neck. His hands tingled, close to vibrating from the power of the spell he cast. He hadn't done magic like that in ages. He stared down at them. That was too powerful for a simple stunning spell. Damned wand.

"Oh Harry," Loki whispered. "I knew it. I knew you were powerful." Harry hadn't realized Loki's hand on his shoulder. He moved up to his cheek and turned his head. Harry, now looking at Loki, stared dazed into his eyes, a deep blue this time. Loki leaned down, holding his chin, and pressed his lips onto his forehead. Harry realized what was happening and pushed him away quickly.

"No no no, you can't kiss me and make this all better," Harry choked out, shaking his head. "This isn't some drink that you can pay for with a kiss."

"Harry, look at me," Loki whispered, pulling his chin up again. "We will escape this. I promise you. But I need to be caught first."

Harry shook his head again. He's crazy. He's actually crazy.

"Do you understand that? Do to me what you did to them. Let them arrest me."

Harry opened his mouth to argue but Loki cut him off. "I will explain another time. Just do this. Please"

"Fine."

Loki took a step back and waited for Harry to raise his wand. He didn't. Instead of a flash of light hitting him, a hard fist connected with his jaw. Loki brought a hand up to his jaw and Harry smiled. He then raised his wand and said "Petrificus Totalus." Loki froze and fell backwards, hand still on his face.

That was satisfying.

He turned back to the unconscious three. Well, unconscious two. The blond stranger was staring up at him in disbelief and Harry cringed. Ignoring him, he pointed his wand at the other two, muttering the counter-curse each time and slowly they stirred, waking up.

2009

Harry flinched at the rumble of thunder that grew louder and louder. Too similar. The noises were just too similar. He couldn't take it. His head was aching, his body was tense and he was too tired to deal with it.

He walked from behind the counter. The pub was empty, might as well close it. Good thing he lived above the pub, he could just go upstairs and lock himself in his room.

Just as he was walking to the door, it opened. A tall, scrawny man stood at the door; most of his face covered by his coat collar. Harry froze as he saw the man's hand gripping tightly onto a small handgun.

Harry sighed. "Really? Again? The amount of times I've been 'robbed' is absurd."

"S-shut up and give me all your money," The man stuttered. Obviously not an actual criminal.

"I really do not want to do that," Harry replied.

"Do it. Now." The man ordered, pointing his gun at him.

Sighing, Harry put his hands up in mock surrender. He walked behind the counter, hands up, and opened the cash register with one hand. He dug under the few stray notes and found his wand.

"Where's the money?" The man said, eyes shifting nervously.

"I said no," Harry winked and smiled. He lifted his hand and pointed his wand at the man.

The man shot twice but the bullets never reached Harry. Instead, they stopped just a few inches before his forehead. Harry grinned.

"That was close huh?" Harry said, tilting his head.

He looked maniacal then, grin wide and eyes emotionless. He pointed his wand at the man again and the bullets flew, lodging into his arm and stomach. The man cried out in pain and gasped. He tried to run for the door but he couldn't open it. He began banging on the door and Harry's smile faltered. He hadn't locked the door.

Avada kedavra

Harry's eyes widened in fear at that word. Again, his mind had blanked and that one word was all he could think of. Harry shook his head in disbelief.

No, not again.

The word began to repeat and repeat and repeat until it became like a sick mantra playing in his head.

He stared at the man who was close to tears.

"Please, please let me go," he begged. "I'm sorry. Please let me go. Please."

Harry stared at him. The man looked different. He wasn't bald a second ago and he wasn't that pale. Harry realized. He slowly was morphing into Voldemort. The man's quivering lip was now a sneer as he grinned.

He's coming for me. Oh Merlin, he's here. He's gonna kill me. He's gonna kill me.

Not if I kill him first.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Harry shouted and his eyes were almost comically wide as a green light flashed.

The light cleared and there was the man, lying dead on the floor. He wasn't Voldemort. He was just a plain Muggle. That he killed. He just killed a man

Oh Merlin.

All Harry remembers next was darkness and thunder and digging. Just digging digging digging.

Harry woke up, gasping for breath and drenched in sweat. He looked around him and remembered where he was. He was lying on a small bed in a small room. He fell asleep? Last thing he remembered was Dr. Banner checking him over for any injuries.

Did they drug him? No, couldn't be. He knew what it was like to be drugged and it was nothing like that.

But oh Merlin, he had that dream again. Every time he heard thunder, he had it. He shook his head.

Get out of my head.

There was a knock on the door. It was Bruce Banner again, smiling weakly.

"Fury is calling for a meeting." He said, scratching his neck. "He asked me to call you."

"Why do I have to go?" Harry asked, genuinely confused.

Banner shrugged his shoulders. Harry began to get off the bed and steadied himself before walking. That dream always affected him like this.
Banner led the way.

"Did you drug me?" Harry asked abruptly.

Banner looked taken aback. "Of course not. I left the room for a few minutes and when I came back, you were asleep. I already checked for concussions so I figured you should rest."

"Oh. Thanks."

The walk was awkwardly silent and Harry tried to break it.

"Oh yeah, why do they keep sending you to 'look after me'?" Harry asked, glancing at his face.

"Fury probably wants me to think he trusts me and also to make use of me."

"Oh."

He nodded. "I forgot to mention, I know you cast a spell on me."

Harry looked sheepish. "I really am sorry about that. I felt like I had to do it."

"Hmm, I remember the apology." He said but he sent a small smile to Harry.

They arrived at the table where the meeting was supposed to be held. Fury was there and so was Agent Romanoff, Iron Man(Well, Tony Stark technically), the blond stranger and Captain.

"Potter, Banner finally," Fury said, nodding at them but avoiding looking at Harry.

The stranger looked furious at the mere sight of Harry but didn't say anything.

"Who invited the hobbit?" Tony snapped, glancing at Harry with narrow eyes.

Harry just looked at him and Tony stared back, challenging him to say something.

"Oh yeah sorry about earlier, I don't usually fight with the elderly." Harry said, smiling.

Tony, mouth slightly agape, pointed at him. Before he could reply, Fury simply said "Stop it." They stopped.

"Look, as you all know, Loki is now our hostage but so far, he hasn't said anything about the location of the Tesseract." He announced, glancing at everyone except Harry.

Harry raised a hand. "Before we continue, can I please know why I am here? If you're going to send me off to the Ministry, just do it now."

"Yes, why is this boy here?" the stranger asked, glaring

Ignoring him, Fury finally looked at Harry and he could feel the others' eyes on him too. "We're no turning you in. To put it shortly, we need you."

Harry raised an eyebrow.

"You're the only one, besides Thor" He paused, glancing at the blond stranger. Oh that's who he is. "Who knows Loki. We need you both to talk to him. Convince him to tell you where the Tesseract is."

Harry thought about it for a while then glanced at Thor. "So you're his brother. He really hates you, he won't tell you anything."

Thor clenched his jaw but a glance from Fury stopped him from doing anything.

Harry's gaze moved back to Fury.
"If you want me to talk to him, you don't turn me in alright? Nothing else. I help you and you let me go. Understood?"

Fury nodded curtly, not appreciating Harry's tone.

"So when do I talk to him?" Harry asked.

"Now."
