I'm not much of a blueshipper, and I don't really like the way people portray it, so I decided to write it out the only way I could really see it happening. I can't see Kaiba being one for relationships, so I figured this was as far as it would get. This is set post-series as some point. The girl is a reincarnated version of Kisara, not the real Kisara. Anyways, enjoy.
Nights that Kaiba wasn't busy with work were hard to come by. As he walked down the calm streets of Domino, he couldn't help but to take advantage of the rare moment of freedom. The cool night was strangely soothing to him, and his stiff posture softened a bit as he finally began to relax. Although he never completely let his guard down, he felt more at ease with himself. For once, he wasn't out to impress anybody, and for the first time in a long while, he seemed to blend in with the rest of the city. He looked almost normal despite his sleek suit, and for once, he didn't mind it. All he could hear were his footsteps on the concrete and the occasional car driving by. He kept his head straight, looking onto the night and the path before him while the streetlights lit up the way.
It wasn't long before he saw another person walking along the same path. It was a small woman, and her silhouette grew larger as she walked towards him. His pride kept him from turning his head away, and he continued to hold his head high, forcing him to look at her through the corner of his eye. He wasn't sure what it was, but there was something about her: in the way she walked, in her pale skin, her white hair, and her big blue eyes. As she walked next to him, he ignored her, and she passed without a word. After a few steps, he couldn't help but to turn his head slightly to look at her. He didn't know her, but yet, he couldn't get rid of the feeling that at some moment, they had crossed paths before. He turned his head back and pushed the thoughts of her away.
A few feet down the path, the girl turned her head to look back at the man she had passed. He seemed so familiar somehow, and although she knew for a fact that she had never met the man before in her life, she couldn't help but to feel something deep inside of her.
In that moment, as two strangers passed, they both felt a sensation that neither of them had ever felt before.
