Tai: Hello guys, time for another chapter. Thank you to all who have reviewed. You guys make me so happy, so hopefully I don't disappoint. On with the story.

I'm standing in a familar place. There's rubble all over. I'm looking for Italy. As I yell out his name I hear a voice. I turn to see my best friend covered in blood. His clothes are dirty and tattered. He walks towards me with a limp and is holding his right arm, which falls limply at his side. Despite all his obvious discomfort and pain he smiles at me and opens his mouth to speak. I ran towards him and-

It was the buzzing of my alarm clock that woke me up. I sat up and felt sorrow wash over me after I realized it was only just a dream. I could still hear Italy's voice echoing around my head, although I couldn't remember what it was that he said.

I got up and dressed myself before beginning my normal early morning jog. I hoped that the crisp morning air would help me remember what it was that Feliciano had told me. Unfortunately it didn't help. When I got home I called my soldiers and asked if anyone found Italy. Nobody had. I then told them to check Russia. I was starting to lose hope.

Back in my room, I sat on my bed with the diary. My best friend was missing and I was just sitting around reading his diary. But it was all I could do. I opened to a random page.

Aug. 30th, 2028

Dear diary,

I've been missing for almost two years. I haven't had pasta in a in a long time. I'm really hungry. I ache all over. Russia keeps hurting me. He wants me to break down and cry, but I won't. I'm stronger now, I don't want to cry until I see Germany. I'll be crying tears of joy. Everyday I tell myself 'Germany's coming for me. I'll be alright. Just keep smiling.' And I do. I keep smiling because anyday he will be here.

-Smiling through the pain, Italy.

I smiled softly. Italy had drawn a little smiling face next to his signature. Then I turn the page and froze. The smile dropped from my face and my blood ran cold as I read.

Tai: so the next chapter will be the last for this story. I have other stories planned. I hope you guys stick around for the ending. Thank you for staying this long. ^^ I'll post the ending within then next few weeks. I can't really post anymore this week because I'll be helping my mom. (She's getting surgery.) See you guys soon!
