*PoV Ron*

Hermione had been getting on my nerves again, nagging me about my homework. Harry had gone a wall again, and Umbrage was a horror, as per usual. Harry really had been stressing about school and Dumbledore's army and the lot. With all that's going on, I'm amazed he's still sane. Hermione says that he just needs time to cool down, but I think he needs more than that. He needs a girl; someone to help him take his mind of You-Know-Who. I think that Cho Chang has a thing for Harry, and I know that Ginny fancies him. Harry just has to stick his neck out and look around.

I was sat on the window seat, while Hermione sat in the big chair near the fire. Everyone else had gone to bed after the dance that the Hufflepuff's arranged to get everyone happy again. The Slytherin's had pulled out all the stops to look like arrogant snobs once again, but Malfoy seemed a bit… distracted. He wore a nice silk button up top, and tight black pants. Way too tight, if you ask me, but Hermione said he looked nice. He had on a dark green cloak that nearly swept the floor. He didn't dance; he didn't have any food or drink, either. Harry said that he was tired of the music and the heat, so he went outside into the Entrance Hall. Malfoy followed him, probably looking for some trouble.

I heard a laugh coming from the grounds. I looked down, and saw Harry. He bent over, picked up a snow ball and threw it at someone I couldn't see. He was laughing and smiling, so I thought it was Dean or Seamus. Wasn't I surprised when Malfoy came into view? He bet over and threw a snow ball at Harry, laughing and smiling as well. His cloak fluttered in the wind. After a while they stopped throwing snow and just sat next to each other on a bench in front of the lake. Harry shivered and Malfoy took off his cloak and wrapped it around Harry's shoulders.

"Hermione, come here," I said.

Hermione was soon stood next to me, looking down at the grounds. "Well, that's odd. But I'm glad they seem to be friends."

Harry leaned against Malfoy; Malfoy wrapped an arm around Harry. Harry lifted his head so he was resting his chin on Malfoy's shoulder, and placed a kiss on Malfoy's cheek. I went stiff all over; I couldn't believe what I'd just seen. Harry kissed him… Wow. Malfoy turned his head and kissed Harry on the lips. This… this was weird. This wasn't happening.

"Hermione?"

"Yes, Ron, I saw it, too. And I'm happy for them."

"But it's Malfoy! Draco freakin' Malfoy! He's a Slytherin, and we're Gryffindor's! We don't get along!"

"Ron, calm down. If Harry and Draco can learn to like each other, why can't the rest of us? Let's give them a chance. For Harry's sake. Please?"

I looked at her, bewildered that she was willing to give Malfoy a chance. But… Harry is my best mate, so why not? "Alright, Hermione. But he only get's one chance."

Hermione smiled and went up to her room. I looked down at the grounds again. Harry and Malfoy were huddled together, their arms around each other. I suppose this could be good. But if Malfoy hurt Harry in any way, he'd lose all his front teeth.

I went up to bed and waited for Harry to come back so we could talk. But he didn't come in that night. In the morning, I went down early to see if I could find him. And I did.

He was curled up in front of the fire, Malfoy's cloak still wrapped around him.
