Clare stood watching, as Eli stared down a viscous looking man.

"I won't let you hurt her, Asher!" He yelled. Wait, her boss was trying to kill her? Clare was getting seriously weirded out. Eli was still trying to rip Asher apart. Clare turned away as blood began splattering. She heard groan loudly before a hard thump. She turned around, and there Eli was in all his glory. He'd saved her again.

Clare shot up in bed. The sheets were sweaty and so was she. She suddenly realized what she had done.
