Title: Call Me Maybe
Characters: Artemis, Wally and the rest of the team but they're not that important here.
Pairing: Spitfire
Summary: You'd think a high-tech gym would choose better songs in their playlist but no.
Notes: A similar event happened to an acquaintance last week during gym and this plot bunny's been bugging me ever since. I thought I might as well start writing again and what better way than good ol' Spitfire.
Disclaimer: Nope, characters not mine.

Hey I just met you

"Oh God, not this song again", Artemis groaned. She glared at the speakers mounted in the corner of the gym. You'd think a high-tech gym would choose better songs in their playlist but no. It had to be this song. Again.

And this is crazy

The blonde leaned back on the exercise bike's seat, trying to block out the offending music while she pedaled on. She turned to Zatanna on her right, also on a similar exercise bike. The girl was happily bobbing her head along to the upbeat tunes. Catching the magician's grin, Artemis rolled her eyes. Was she the only person who thought this song was beyond stupid? Really.

But here's my number

Artemis adjusted herself on the exercise bike again. Today was one of those days where everyone just quietly relished in the slow afternoon workout and she'll be damned if she ruined the peace and quiet. Her sweat trickled down the side of her face, down the contours of her collarbones.

So call me maybe

Artemis slowed her pace, loving the feel of the dull ache in her calf muscles. She grabbed her white towel off the machine and started to wipe her face while she caught her breath. She closed her eyes and buried her tan face in the fluffiness. When she lifted her face off the towel, a small piece of paper fluttered down on it. Scrunching her eyebrows, she looked up to see Wally West leaning on the exercise bike, a mischievous smirk gracing his features.

'What the hell?'

She was about too voice out her thoughts when he pointed at the piece of paper in front of her. Expecting the worst, she flipped it. Her face contorted into ways only Wally was able to get out from her. It looked like she couldn't decide between being confused or grossed out so she settled for both. Her head snapped back up, only to catch the redhead speedster wink at her and mouth the words 'call me', before speeding off and leaving her with a giggling Zatanna, a cackling Robin and some very confused team mates.

"WALLACE RUDOLPH WEST!"

A/N: Wow, this sounded better in my head.
