The hero and villain

Chase

But

I was wrong

As I hung there

In need of

Your help

I looked up at

I was hoping for

Your hand

To pull me out

Save me

From my doom below

But

You just stared at me

And left

To think

You were the 'hero'

To think

I almost gave into your ways

To think

I trusted you

I was naïve to do such things
