Chapter 8: Sanji

I'm sorry for taking for ever with getting this chapter done and thank you for waiting.

"I'M REALLY PISSED OFF NOW!" Sanji screeched, fighting to get out of the hold his co-worker had on him, trying to get to the bloody pink haired marine cowering on the floor.

"EVERYONE STOP HIM! OR HE'LL KILL THAT MAN!"

"I REALL CAN'T STAND IDIOITS LIKE YOU!" Sanji shouted again, how he managed to keep his smoke is a mystery.

"That's enough Sanji!" stop it!"

"Just who the hell do you think you are?" The marine defiantly wet himself at the look that Sanji was giving him, too scared to do anything, and only watch as the chefs held the young blond back, suddenly the ceiling broke over heard of the place and down came a black haired person and the old man with an abnormally large chef hat on his head…

"Gurararara, I see Zeff is doing alright for himself." Whitebeard said, eyes turned to stare at the old man, until the first people that joined the straw hats all banged their fist into their open palms.

"Ah, I forgot, the old man met Whitebeard."

The black haired person was under Zeff's body, he slowly got off the person glaring down at her, while the black haired person sat up glaring too, but somehow their face seemed more playful then it should be, especially since she crashed through the ceiling.

"Ahh, that surprised me…" She commented, Zeff narrowed his eyes at her then look up when a bit of the ceiling landed on his shoulder.

"Ow-owner what's going on?" One of the chefs asked, however he was ignored.

"Damn, look at what you did." Zeff said, looking up at the hole, Luffy and everyone else followed his gaze. "You broke my ceiling, it's all your fault brat."

"You know it is really scary how much the two of you are alike when you have never met." Sabo said thinking over all the times his brother had damaged buildings with or without meaning to do it.

Zeff got right into Luffy's face, Luffy didn't back away from the angry head chef, and instead she moved closer glaring playfully at him, which just seemed to piss the man off more.

"You broke it yourself, crazy old fart."

"What are you doing, boss?"

"Leave the kid and help us stop Sanji here." The chefs holding the blond back screamed desperately, Luffy and Zeff were head to head so when they turned to face the pile of chefs who were struggling, they were cheek to cheek.

"Hey Sanji!" Zeff growled moving away from Luffy, who had been pushing against his face, making her crashing into the ground. Sanji turned his eyes to the head chef. "Were you fighting in my restaurant again, you ingrate?"

"Shut up, old man." Zeff sent his peg leg into Sanji's head, sending him onto his ass.

"DO YOU WANT TO DESTROY MY RESTAURANT?"

"Hey! It's that marine guy that tried to blow us up with that cannon ball." Luffy said none too quietly.

"Huh? What happened?"

"Oh, he tried to blow us out of the water, being a marine and all, Luffy got the cannon ball in an air lock, but she messed up with her air control by a sudden breeze and threw the cannon ball into the restaurants roof." Nami said running it down for those that didn't get it.

"So that's what happened." Sanji said understanding everything now.

Zeff glared down to the marine and kicked him across the floor, making the man slide towards the door.

"YOU, GET OUT OF MY RESTAURANT, NOW!" The three chefs stood in a triangle all of them glaring at one another.

"Listen, our customers are our gods!" Patty said his lip turning up into a sneer, Sanji just breathed in the nicotine from the white stick that he held between his fingers.

"Only our customers can eat your crappy food."

"PATTY, SANJI! IF YOU TWO WANT TO FIGHT GO BACK TO THE KITCHEN!" Luffy was waiting for the legs to start kicking out at each other, making it into a real spar, but a marine banging open the front doors had them all turning to the front.

"LIEUTENANT FULLBODY! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" The guy was sweating up a storm; eyes wide and terrified, blood ran down the side of his face and dripped from his chin. "I'm very sorry sir. But, our captive had escaped from his cell."

"Hahahaha, what a busy place!" Luffy laughed, eyes alight with glee, her amusement didn't reach the panicked marine as he turned desperate.

"KRIGS CREWMAN ESCAPED! EVEN SEVEN OF US CAN'T CATCH HIM!"

"You only have seven marines on your ship?" Luffy questioned, however she was ignored due to more pressing matters then her questions.

"THAT'S CRAZY! HOW CAN HE HAVE ANY STRENGTH LEFT? WE CAUGHT HIM THREE DAYS AGO WHEN HE NEARLY DIED, AND WE HAVN'T FED HIM SINCE THEN."

"Hey look at that!" Izo said pointing up at the screen, pointing over to Sanji then Luffy, their faces were nearly identical and Sanji turned ashen knowing what he had been thinking about, he hadn't even noticed his beautiful cuties face had showed recollection and sympathy.

"What were you thinking about?" Yasopp questioned the blond cook, Sanji's eyes shadowed over a little bit, even after all those years being a pirate under the Strawhat flag, his childhood moment on that damn rock still came to him in nightmares that had him up in the night making sure that there is always enough food in his kitchen.

"The time I nearly starved to death and how nobody deserved that."

"You saying Luffy starved?" Ace blinked, looking incredibly stupid doing so, Sanji took a shuddering breath.

"If she's showing that face at that time and place, then yes…"

A loud bang echoed inside the highly noisy restaurant silencing everyone as the marine officer standing in the doorway crashed down to his knees, his head thrown back in pain as blood spurted out of his chest before he crashed to the ground dead.

The man the shot the gun slowly made his way over to an empty table, he had a sweat band around his forehead, had jeans and a jacket on, plus two earing in each other his ears and dark rings from being both underfed and sleep deprived. As he sat down, Gin placed his right foot up onto the table looking relaxed and like he was the owner of the floating restaurant.

"Just go and get me something to eat, this is a restaurant right?"

The group watched as Patty went up to the pirate sitting on the table, a large grin spread across his face and somehow managed to cover the how screen.

"That's just freaky!" Thatch said over dramatically. "How the hell did he end up getting customers?"

"Welcome to our restaurant sir." The customers that were already there we not expecting the chefs of the place, known for their constant fighting to be so welcoming to the pirate that had just killed a marine in their own doorway.

"I'll say it again, so you better listen, I am here as a customer. Get me some food now."

"That chef…will die." Fullbody stated, Sanji watched as the girl placed her foot onto the back of his head and force him back down to the ground, Luffy never took her eyes from the starving pirate.

"I'm most sorry, moron. But do you have any money?" A ridicules question, being that the guy just got out from marine custardy.

"Do you want me to pay you led?" Gin asked placing a gun barrel to Patty's head. "Because, I don't have any money."

Suddenly Patty slammed his hands together over his head and brought them down right on top of Gin, the force of the blow broke the chair that the pirate was sitting on and knocked the table over.

Luffy stepped off from the marines head; she looked ready to interfere but held herself back from what was happening, a tiny part of the cruelty that the world held for others to see.

"Why isn't she helping him?"

"Luffy doesn't think she should get involved." Zoro answered, his only good eye slightly open to look at them from where he was resting, everyone sweat dropped when they saw him leaning against a tree with a breeze blowing at his dark green robe, hand resting over his swords like he was making sure that they were still there…the moon seemed to shine down on him through the leaves. "Luffy sees that there are some fights that she will get involved in, but others like this one, the cook is beating up the guy because of money, Luffy sees money as a pointless things to fight over and won't interfere over it."

"But his starving…"

"Crap-cook said that she had been thinking about something similar to him from the past, so it's easy to assume that she has at one point been starved before." Zoro paused for a more dramatic are and the breeze picked up again as his only eye opened fully. "Luffy hasn't had an easy past so the beating that Gin is getting would be small to her, something that she herself could handle in that situation so Luffy must have thought that he didn't need help, even if his starving."

With that Zoro closed his one eye again and the breeze settled down around him and the leaves hid the moonlight from hitting the green haired swords man, a large silence fell over the crowed as they stared at Zoro when.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME MOSS-BRAIN?!" Sanji cried out charging and lifting up his back foot to kick the green haired man, only for Zoro to block the attack using his swords.

"Wanna fight, huh, crap-cook?"

The screen turned away from the beating that was happening to the sickly thin pirate and it began to head towards the stairs that would lead up to the floor that Luffy had broken with the side of her head.

Sanji headed into a kitchen and the crowed watched as he made a simple rice dish, he hummed under his breath, as he added spliced up bits of veggies and fresh spices.

The respective chefs from the crowed all could see the tenderness that the blond placed inside the food that he was going to dish up, mixing up everything perfectly so that it was balanced and all the flavours complemented each other.

He still had a few errors in his style of cooking, the way that it was like he was copying someone else as they cooked but they knew that Sanji had either out grown it or realised his mistake and created his own style of cooking.

Sanji carried a glass of water and the plate out the back, like he knew that's where the starving pirate was going to be, and he was, on the ground, hand wrapped around his stomach, the other digging into the wood, obesely in pain as he stomach made noises that some had not heard before, high pitch whines and gurgles.

The man didn't make any move as Sanji walked up to him casually, it was like Gin didn't even notice that Sanji had walked up to him, it wasn't until the plate and glass was set down right next to his head that he took note of the blond chef.

"Eat up." Gin stared at it for a while then turns his head away, his pride not allowing him to take charity from anyone.

"I don't want your pity." Sanji sat down, head tilting back to look at the sky, he watched the clouds for a moment until his ears picked up the upset sound his stomach was making.

"It'll go to waste if someone doesn't eat it…" Sanji commented casually, his blue eyes flicked towards the side to see the man grabbing the plate and began to gobble it down, tears ran down his dirty cheeks and Sanji looked away from the guy.

"I don't, I don't want to be ashamed, but...this is the most delicious rice I have eaten in my whole life." Gin ate some more, shovelling the tiny bits of food into his mouth, he had to complement the guy that had given him the free meal. "I should not be ashamed…I don't want to be ashamed, but, I thought that I would not survive!"

"HAHAHA! You're almost dead." Luffy laughed from where she was leaning on the upper railings looking down at the two, Sanji stared at her, wondering why he hadn't notice the girl there before. "You are really cool, hey chef, would you like to join my pirate crew?"

"What?" Is the smart answer from both males sitting on the ground below her? Luffy rolled her eyes, the look on her face said that she completely thought that all men on the plant were stupid. Her legs swung over the railing and she jumped down, letting out a small thud as she did so.

"I want you, Sanji…to join my pirate crew as my chef." The screen turned pink with love hearts floating everywhere, the image of Luffy changed too, her bottom lip pouted out, eyes large and watery.

"Sanji…I want you to cook for me."Then the screen turned a deep shade of red and Sanji collapsed on the ground.

"Pervert." Zoro muttered, disturbed at seeing his captain through the eyes of Sanji. The first mate respected his captain on high levels, her heart, her courage, her will and dreams, and her strength, seeing her look weak like that put him off. It went the same for the others and even Sanji himself, he hadn't looked at Luffy like that for a very long time. Well there was the long period of time after the two years they were apart but he got better again…

Sanji woke up and looked at Luffy who sat comfortably cross-legged on the railing next to him; somehow she and Gin had finished up introducing themselves.

"So, you're a pirate? Why did you fire the cannon at us?"

"It was an accident caused by self-defence." Luffy snorted, Sanji barley managed to keep himself from going gaga. She was so cute snorting in such an un-lady like way.

"I warn you not to do anything stupid here…because the head chef used to be a very famous pirate."

"What? The old man was a pirate?"

"Yeah, and this restaurant is his treasure, beside every chef here used to be either a pirate or in some form of gang, but our number one customers are pirates."

"So that's why this place is in such chaos." Sanji smirked; chaos was putting it lightly, and today was a good day.

"That's usual, some of our guest come here to see our chefs fight the pirates, that's why all the part time waiters ran away, because they were afraid."

"Ahh, so that's why the old timer wants me to work here for a year, anyway…would you like to join my crew?"

"I'm sorry, cutie, but I have reasons to stay here."

"No, I refuse." Luffy growled, hands crossing over her chest and looking rather childish.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I refuse your objection; you're a very good chef, so I want you to become a pirate with me."

"Is anyone else noticing the twinkle in her eyes?" Izo wondered, he knew that look anywhere, having known to stay out of Thatch's or Ace's way when they got that look in their eyes, trained himself to pick up that tiny smidge in their eyes.

Those that also had to train to pick up on that look in eyes of the pranksters in the crew all nodded, but somehow, the Whitebeards knew that if Ace, Thatch and Luffy ever had to plan out something then they feared for the world.

"Hey, hey, would you listen to me?"

"What is your reason for staying then? Tell me."

"I don't have to tell you." Sanji said like he was dismissing something unimportant, to any normal person they would have picked up on him not wanting to talk about it.

"But you just told me to listen to you." Luffy's lip twitched noticeably, her shoulders shook as she suppressed her chuckles.

"I meant that you should listen to others, you little brat, don't you understand?" Sanji growled lowly under his breath, it would seem that Luffy was testing the guy, trying to get a good feel of who he really is.

"Don't call me brat, I'll beat you up."

"I bet you could cutie, I would love to get beaten up by you." Sanji sang out, twirling around like a loon, Sanji couldn't hold himself back anymore; Luffy is just too cute for her own good.

"Excuse me for interrupting." Gin said politely, gaining the two's attention. "My name is Gin and I work for the Krieg pirates. You're a pirate right? What's your goal?"

"One piece, my goal is one piece, that's why I'm heading back to the Grandline." A dark look flashed across Luffy's eyes before they focused one more on Gin, who missed the part where she had said 'back to'.

"You said that you were looking for a chef, I guess that means you don't have many members, right?"

"I have five people including him."

"WHO TOLD YOU TO COUND ME IN AS A MEMBER?" The two ignored Sanji's outburst.

"You aren't a bad person, so I want to warn you about something, don't ever go to the Grandline, you're still young, so don't waste your life there, Grandline is just come part of the ocean, if you want to become a pirate you can always go to other places."

"…" Luffy stared down at the man, her eyes glaring slightly at him, possibly for him trying to tell her where to sail she stopped glaring as he kept talking though.

"That place…that place is, I don't know a thing…I'm so afraid of that place…"

"Why is a Krieg pirate such a wimp?"

"A Krieg what?" Luffy asked looking at Sanji, Sanji felt himself proud that he was helping the little cutie instead of arguing with her.

"Krieg is a captain with a troop of fifty plus pirate ships, from what I head from some idioit chefs, that they are stronger than five thousand people…for an example, if they felt like it Krieg could end up destroying the restaurant like an elephant crushing a tiny bug."

"Being crushed like a bug by an elephant huh? Sounds merciful, quick and only slightly painful, there are worse things that can happen then being crushed by a massive foot..." Awkwardness overcame the group, Luffy and Gin both thinking about their horrors while Sanji thought of what he considered worse than being crushed.

"You can have a boat." Sanji started drawing the two away from their horrors at the sound of his sudden voice.

"Huh?"

"A boat, you can have a boat and get away." Sanji said peering over the edge to see the small sail boat bobbing in the water, Gin jumped down into the boat while Sanji untied the rope.

"I will go now, but I warn you…" He gave a pointed look at Luffy, the girl stared down at him for a while then snorted.

"I'm still going to the Grandline, I have things I need to do there."

"That's up to you, I don't have a right to stop you, Sanji, thank you, I owe you my live, and that rice was very delicious, can I come back?"

"Anytime." The grins that they gave each other look innocent, friendship…

"HEY BRATS!" Zeff yelled, the old mans' eyes gaze down at the empty dish's on the wooden plants, Sanji looked back at Gin, seeing him look highly upset.

"I'm sorry Sanji, I'm causing you trouble because I ate your food for free." Sanji picked up the dishes and dropped them over the side of the ship, the plate broke when it hit the side of the Baratie.

"There, now there is no evidence so I won't be in trouble." Gin bowed down low to the man that had saved him. "Be careful and take care, Gin."

"SANJI! SERVANT, GET TO WORK NOW!"

Sanji walked back into the main dining area while Luffy was dragged off, he wouldn't worry about that impossible girl while there was many other goddess that needed his love. Sanji walked around the tables flirty with every girl that he saw, complementing the old and the young, pissing off fathers and boyfriends as he went, it's surprising that he hadn't been killed by jalousies husbands.

The calming atmosphere around the blond was shattered when the noise level picked up on one side of the room, he found cutie messing around with her friends, and he looked them over, a long nosed kid, a moss head that he got an instant hatred too, it didn't help that the moss head was forcing cutie to drink the water that she had put a booger in.…and…

"OH! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GODDESS!" Sanji said running over to Nami, she sparkled inside a pink haze of love, each movement that she did looked graceful and amazing. "As long as you are with me, I can become a pirate of an evil being, oh but our destiny is so doomed!"

"Playboy!" It was said with in a fake couch and Sanji turned around to glare at the person that said it, he set his glare on Izo, who smiled innocently at the blonde, when Sanji turned away Izo did it again. "Horn dog."

Sanji stiffened up and turned back around, glaring darkly at the cross dresser, even as he felt chills run up and down his spine.

"Did you say something?"

"Nope, not me." Izo said pulling out a fan from his shahs and opening it to hide the large smile on his face, next to the pretty boy grinning just as widely as the one causing the trouble was Atoms, Sanji growled some more then turned to walk away.

"Whore-hound." This time the fire in Sanji's eyes was ready to inflict pain as he went back to looking at Izo, both their shoulders were shacking and for two different reasons, Sanji would have attacked the division commander if…

"Skirt-chaser." Hadn't been said from somewhere further back behind Izo and Atmos, Marco had been watching the whole things and seeing that Izo was causing trouble, he thought it was the best move to stop any fighting that might have happened. However he might have just added fire to the fuel as Sanji looked ready to burst into flames like Marco's freckle face brother always does when he's ticked off to the max.

"SHUT UP, JUST BECAUSE I KNOW HOW TO TREAT THE LADIES RIGHT…." Everyone in front of Sanji that could see behind him all shivered as a dark face popped up with two bright stars for eyes, a fist held high, halfway through Sanji's yelling the fist came down and smacked Sanji in the head knocking him face first into the ground, his eyes spinning much like his eyebrows.

"DON'T START FIGHTING AND SHUT UP!"

"N-Nami-swannn is so beautiful when she hits me…" The unconscious blonde mumbled, Nami huffed and glared at everyone, they only nodded their heads and kept their mouth shut, turning back to the screen in front of them.

"Gurararara…" Whitebeard and Shanks laughed, both knowing what the other must be thinking about the carrot top and how lucky they are for not having any female navigators on their crew. They both sucked in their lips when Nami turned her head around to send them the same look and the nurses had to remember to ask the women to teach them that look so that Whitebeard will listen to them.

"Scary…" Usopp said having hidden behind Whitebeard, he startled the two captains who didn't notice the long nosed sniper there…he blends in for someone that had looks that will make him stand out so much.

Luffy's crew could talk wise words, can imitate their crew and even themselves, pus how the sniper got behind them like that without the two captains knowing, they can even hide themselves…while the captains had their senses pulled back to make sure nobody would attack from behind.

"When did you get there?" Shanks wondered, Usopp looked over at the red haired captain, peering at him before his snipers son smiled cheekily and ran off, leaving the two Yonkos stumped. "I thought he was the cowered in the crew?"

"Oh, he is." Robin said from where she was sitting next to Shanks.

"But that grin…" Shanks looked confused, eyes going over to where Usopp had run off.

"He was testing something."

"Looking for our weakness?" Robin laughed softly.

"No Whitebeard and Red Hair, that's what I have already found out, he was testing a new dial of his." The two didn't know what to say to what she let on about herself, so they choice to stick to Usopp as their subject.

"A new dial?"

"Yes." Robin held up a shell and looked it over. "Usopp fiddled a little bit with the inside of it, much like when Nami uses her margin attack to make it look like there is more than one of her, Usopp copied it…only the image of himself stays inside of the dial instead of him having to stand in the smog."

"So Usopp wasn't really behind us?"

"No he wasn't."

"But the voice…"

"It's part of the dial." Shanks knew that the woman was giving him simple answers to annoy him, Whitebeard watched the two talk, it was rather interesting how Robin selected her words carefully, thinking before she choose the words that she wanted.

"How did he get it behind us? Or was it there before we sat down?" Whitebeard questioned, Robin moved her blue eyes up to the older pirate captain, she stayed respectful as she explained that Usopp was a sniper, it'll be easy for him to judge the height and distance and angle that he would need to get it there.

A loud noise made them look back up the screen in time to see Sanji being thrown back into a table; the young strawhat had managed to save their meals by picking them up.

"Damnit."

"Bah." Zeff said, staring down at Sanji like he couldn't be bothered with him any longer.

"LISTEN, I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES YOU TELL ME TO LEAVE, BUT I'LL BE A CHEF HERE FOREVER, YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT? I WILL STAY HERE UNTIL YOU DIE!"

"I won't die for hundreds of years." Zeff said walking away, also telling Sanji to clean up the mess, Sanji swore under his breath then Luffy got into the blonds face.

"You're rather stupid…"

"What?" Sanji asked, his mood already on the last thread, and even though he knew that Luffy was a female he couldn't get that over dramatic flirty over her going.

"I said you're stupid, rather stupid in fact, the worst kinds of chains are the ones that you put on yourself…but the chains that are put on you by others have the same effect, at least with real chains they will rust and brake one day."

"…Shut up and help me clean up." Luffy huffed and sat down, she folded her leg over the other as Sanji set up the table again, he served Nami like she was a queen and Luffy like any of the other females in the place, Usopp wondered if he would get free food as well while Zoro drank his hot tea.

Everyone watched as Sanji was manipulated by Nami so easily before he shuffled off to greet some more ladies that just walked in, the two giggled at Sanji and greeted him in return, Sanji then came back, hook an arm around Luffy and dragged her off.

"You are a servant, you don't have a right to sit with the customers, when the customer comes in, you have to bring a hot towel to them…understand?"

"No…" Luffy muttered glaring at the floor, Sanji sat her up right looking at her dejected face and his instincts kicked in once more, remembering that Luffy is in fact female and he should treat her as such.

"Don't worry cutie, I'll do your work too, I don't want to see your beautiful hands scared…" Sanji went down to kiss one of the said hands, only to find that it was littered with tiny scars already, the noticeable ones were at the second knuckle on three of her fingers, when he turned her hand over the scar kept on going, a full circle… "What?"

"If you get your fingers to a surgeon in time they can reattach them…did you know that?" Luffy questioned, when Sanji looked up her eyes only reflected the light, her eyes were like that of a doll, glass and cold.

"Wh…"

"I've gotten used to when they get stuck or crake, it did happen when I was rather small after all."

"No lady should be treated like that." Sanji growled out, rubbing each digit that had been cut off, not letting go of her hand Sanji led the girl to a lounge room, and sat her down on a couch. "You stay here…I'll be back."

Sanji did come back after doing the round to find Luffy staring out the window at the water, her eyes flickering over the water like she was looking at something that nobody could see.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah just thinking about some stupid stuff." Sanji smiled and placed a dish of ice-cream and fruit on the table.

"I made this for you, cuties, enjoy it." Luffy whooped and dug in…for the next two day, everyone watched as Sanji had augments with the other chefs, flirted with every female and did all of the jobs that Luffy was meant to do.

So on the second day of Luffy being employed at the Baratie to pay off the damage that she had caused the peaceful atmosphere in the main dining room was latterly chattered by a wine glass falling down to the ground and braking on impact, the women that had dropped the glass had scraped her chair back, knocking it over in her haste to get away from the large ship outside the window while screaming that it was the Don Krieg pirates!

It was almost comical to see everyone running as far as they could from the windows and the chefs blaming Patty for the trouble that he had brought.

"Do you think Gin came back to repay you?" Luffy questioned sarcastically grinning, while she hopped lightly up and down on the spot, Sanji shook his head staring at the ship.

"I doubt it, that ship looks so worn out."

"Chewed up in the Grandline and spat back out…" Luffy commented with a yawn, looking disappointed that the ship looked so broken and that it was only just the one ship.

The double doors banged open and Gin walked supporting what must be his captain, his cheeks hollow and eyes blood shot much like when Gin had shown up, this fear pirate captain was starving to death.

"Excuse us…could you give up some food and water, the money is not a problem." Krieg voice sounded exactly as he looks, dry and shrivelled. Suddenly his own legs couldn't hold him up and he over balanced crashing into the ground with a nice sounding thud, Gin panicked, unsure of if he should pick his captain back up from the ground or not, he turned his gaze towards everyone.

"PLEASE HELP HIM OR HE'LL DIE!" Nobody made a move, all staring down at Krieg with a good riddance expression…Patty was the first to break the silence that overcame the place after Gin's plea, but laughing.

"This is hilarious, is this really Don Krieg, the scariest pirate of East Blue?"

"We have money, so we are your customers!" Gin shouted at Patty…

"Contact the marines now!" Patty screamed, looking like he was the one in charge, he had already seen his delusions of being worshiped for taking care of Krieg. "There won't be a chance like this again, I won't give him any food and I'll turn him into the marines."

"That's good, if he regains his…" The voices faded out as Sanji walked away, he walked by Luffy who had sat herself on top of a table that Zoro and Usopp were sitting on, her left leg crossed over the other as she stared down at the commotion going on, her face shadowed by her straw hat, Sanji walked right by them and went into the kitchen, making the same rice dish as before only this time he grabbed a bottle of wine from the rack.

When he came back down, Sanji saw the pirate captain bowed down and begging for anything to eat, still nobody made a move to feed him, but some of the customers looked slightly conflicted.

"Hey Patty…get out of my way." Sanji said, turning his body while he kicked up with one of his legs, sending Patty across the room. Sanji handed the food over while Krieg stuffed his face, saying thanks all the while.

"SANJI, TAKE THAT RICE BACK! YOU DON'T KNOW WHO HE IS!" Carne screamed, anger and fear high lighting his voice. "HE IS THE TRICKIEST PIRATE OF THE EAST BLUE! He used to be a prisoner, then disguised himself as a marines, he killed the marine leader of the ship, took over the ship and then became a pirate. Sometimes, he pretends to be a marine to attack towns, or he'll fly a white flag and trick enemy ships. HE DOESN'T CARE WHAT THE STRATEGY AS LONG AS HE WINS, THAT'S WHY HE'S SO POWERFUL, HE IS VERY STRONG, AFTER HE FINISHES EATING, I DON'T THINK HE'LL LEAVE, JUST LET THAT WORTHLESS MAN DIE FOR THE PEACE OF THIS WORLD!"

"What going to change about letting one pirate die?" Luffy's voice smoothly asked, a few looked towards her, she looked like a queen as she sat on the table, the power in her eyes wasn't hidden by the strawhat shadow any more, Zoro and Usopp looked just the part as her loyal companies, besides for one of them shacking uncontrollably.

"What…?"

"I asked what will change if only one pirate ended up dead today. There are still millions out there sailing the ocean, what's to stop them from coming here as well…are you going to refuse food to them because they have a bad reputation?"

"Ah." Nobody had anything to say, mostly because they were captivated by her aura that surrounded her, even if she had a half apron on around her waist that's stained.

"Are you going to let me and my crew starve because we are pirates?"

"You guys are just rookies, still don't know anything about the ocean yet, give it a few weeks and you'll run back home." One of the older customers stated, Luffy's dark eyes shot over to him and the man began to sweat, and by the way his knees were bucklering he wanted to kneel down in front of her.

"I have seen a lot more of the world then you would be comfortable with, I have seen real monsters, I have felt true terror, felt an informal amount of pain, my mental and physical abilities pushed beyond their limits and all against my will." Luffy drew in a breath and straightened up glaring down at the man. "I may be a rookie pirate but don't you dare say that I know nothing of this world you little puny man…"

Nobody made a sound, all staring at Luffy, by the time she had finished talking the man she was addressing was on his knees kneeling towards her, tears running down his face.

"Did your sister just bring a grown man down to his knees crying his heart out with only just talking and looking at him?" Fossa questioned, even though the answer is clear from what they had just watched.

"Yep…" Ace nodded just as stunned…

"Hahaha your sister is badass!" Haruta laughed, her green eyes twinkling as she looked over at Ace, Ace huffed crossing his arms across his chest.

"I could do that if I wanna."

"Sure you can." Thatch laughed, he got another coconut to his head.

Suddenly Sanji is clotheslined around the head by the pirate captain; the blonde flew backwards, skidded along the ground before stopping; Gin stood up and yelled at his captain.

"WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS? I TOOK YOU HERE BECAUSE YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WOULDN'T HURT ANYONE! BESIDE THAT MAN IS THE PERSON WHO SAVED ME LIFE!" Krieg shot his arm out around Gin thin shoulder, the sound of him screaming didn't drown out the noise of bone slowly cracking, the sound similar to that of nuts being steps on, and the shell splitting apart into tiny bits.

Sanji stayed where he had been thrown and Luffy only turned her head towards the commotion eyes dark.

"This is a good restaurant, I'll take it." Silence as Gin's pained body dropped to the ground, then Patty's smaller friend spoke up and caused panic among the customers and they all fled to their cruise ships to get away as fast as they can while screaming their heads off.

"Captain Krieg…what about the promise?" Gin asked, face twisted up in pain, his hand connected to his undamaged shoulder gently touched the broken bone of his other shoulder, Luffy moved back a little bit, leaning her ass on a table, crossing her ankles together and looking down, hat over her face once again, Sanji stood up from the ground while Patty shouted in shook over Krieg.

"Our ship is worn out, so I want a new one, after we're done with you, you'd better get the hell out of here." Krieg said, eyes going over every chef to make sure that they are listening to him; his eyes lingered on the small female that looked like she had fallen asleep before he went on talking. "Right now, I have about one hundred crewmen on my ship, they are all starving and injured, first, prepare food for them and give it to them as well as water, there were many men that died from starvation, so hurry up and feed them."

"You want us to feed your pirates so that they are strong enough to attack us, I REFUSE TO DO IT!" The smaller chef stated, glaring at the pirate.

"Refuse? It seems that you're misunderstanding something…I did not ask you to serve me crew…this is an order, whoever dares to refuse must die." The insanity showed through on his face when he glared at them, the twisted damage that has befallen him from his short time in the Grandline, the bloodlust from killing so many innocents from before he even entered the Grandline, his broken humanity.

Sanji moved towards the stairs as Gin apologized on the floor, saying he never thought that Gin would go back on his word, the pirate obesely didn't know his captain very well if Gin didn't think that he would betray him.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Patty quickly turned on Sanji, seeing him moving towards the stairs that led up to the kitchen. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING, SANJI?"

"To the kitchen, I'm going to prepare the food for one hundred people." His statement shocked the chefs, even Gin and Krieg looked a little surprised by the blonde chef's decision, Luffy's lips curled up under her hat, even as all the chefs pointed their guns at him Sanji never once back down, he never flattered in what he is about to be doing.

The other chefs stood in a ring around him and Sanji slowly lifted his arms from his sides and raised them, fingers spread apart and a smirk on his face.

"What are you waiting for, if you want to stop me, then you have to shoot…because I won't stop, I know how bad these people are, but that isn't any of my business. When I give people food, I don't think about the price, or the consequences that will occur." Sanji looked every one of those chefs in the eye, while he showed how defenceless he really is to them. "For a chef, if there is someone asking for food…then they must cook for them, what's wrong with that?"

Nobody tried to move their finger back on the trigger, yet nobody lowered their weapons, until the tall man with really thick forearms came up behind Sanji and gave him a good wack to the back of his head, knocking him down to the ground and leaving him their stunned while he showed Krieg the Syrup Canon, which looked like a lobster.

"SUUPPAH COOL DESIGN, but I could make the thruster take on more power to put a bigger impact behind the force of the canon ball shooting out of the whole." Franky shouted, his litter hands coming out with a pencil and a book as they drew down designs and changing themes, a black shiny shoes hit him in the head knocking him towards a larger part of the crow that didn't manage to scramble out of the way very fast.

"You make that and I'll roast it and feed it to you!" Sanji threatened leaning over Franky's head, his blue hair that had been in a shape of a shark now a deflated heap.

"Have you noticed that the straw hat crew are all a violent bunch?" Shanks whispered to the person next to him, to his misfortune, that person just happened to be Nami.

"What did you say?" Her face scary beyond all reason.

"…Mommy." Shanks whimpered as he tried to scramble over towards Benn for safety.

The canon ball flew at Krieg and sent him through the now broken door way.

"Oops, I broke the door…that's bad, head chef will be upset." Patty said offhandedly.

"Don't worry; you did it to protect our restaurant." His smaller friend said reassuringly, but Sanji didn't care about the door, he wanted to know what would happen with all the starving people on that ship.

"What are you gonna do with the rest of Krieg's crew?"

"Just spread them with butter and burn them up." Patty grinned, cockily, while Sanji felt his throat burn with anger.

"Hmm that sounds delicious baldy." Krieg's voice came from the singed doorframe, making heads turn in surprises, what it showed is a crazed angry man in golden plate armour. "Your dessert tasted very bad, this restaurant really sucks."

"He's wearing armour!" Luffy squealed, her eyes flashing into stars as drool ran from her mouth, her feet jumped from one to the other in her excitement.

"You're sister as an armour fetish." Thatch the poor brave soul said, getting Luffy's crew to turn amused eyes onto him while Ace stood behind him with a large coconut in his hand.

"What did you say about my sister?" Ace questioned as he brought the coconut down on top of Thatch's head, Robin and Zoro glanced a look at each other with faint grins. It would seem that Ace has now accepted Luffy as his sister…and is quite protective of her.

"It's just simple armour; let's get him every-one!" The guns that they once held were now replaced with large knives and forks as they chefs charged at Krieg, only for the pirate to pop open a few compartments in his armour and fire bullets at them.

The bullets didn't kill anyone in fact they just barely hit their targets, the man had no aim at all, even if he had more bullets it didn't mean anything if they didn't hit what they were meant to hit.

"Don't even try to go against me, weaklings, I am the strongest man, remember that! These powerful arms, this iron body, and my diamond fist that can destroy everything, plus the many secret weapons that I have equipped myself with, I got more than five thousand men and fifty ships, I always win and everyone accepts my power, when I order you to prepare food, you have to follow my order no matter what, whoever dares to go against me will die!" Krieg finished his rant, leaving everyone in silence and fear, besides two people, one person had green while the other person is shacking uncontrollably next to Sanji, Sanji's instincts made him reach out and place a hand on Luffy's shoulder to make sure that she's alright, that she's not crying.

Much to everyone's shock besides Zoro, the noise the split the silence is her laughter, loud and uncontrolled, she's laughing at the speech that Krieg handed out to everyone.

"Hahaha, sorry, so sorry…not really, HAHAHAHA!" She didn't get it under control for a while, and once she did her face is red, eyelashes wet and her face grinning widely. "You really think you are strong just because you wear armour that has little weapons inside of it?"

"Who are you?" Krieg growled, he hasn't, not once been mocked by someone else since he came to power and this brat, this girl laughed at him.

"It isn't me you should be asking that question to, right Zeff?" Luffy asked turning her head towards the top of the stairs where the old man is coming down from, a large white sack over his shoulder as he glared down at everyone.

"That's in the past; here take this to your crew." Zeff said placing the bag of food down in front of the stunned Krieg.

"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, HEAD CHEF? IF WE LET THOSE PIRATE HAVE FOOD, ONCE THEY REGAIN THEIR STRENGTH THEY WILL TAKE THIS SHIP!"

"That will depend on their spirits." Zeff said turning his back on Krieg, before he turned to look back at Krieg. "Isn't that right, fugitives from the Grandline?"

"Unbelievable, Krieg is a fugitive from the Grandline? Even the most powerful pirate in East Blue and his fifty ships, they still can't live in the Grandline."

"You are…Zeff, the Red Leg." Krieg confirmed, the bounty poster in his head to the old man now standing before him. "You are still alive Zeff the Red Leg? The famous pirate who is both captain and chef of his ship."

"So what is I am still alive? It's none of your business, as you can see; now I'm just a chef."

"Ha, ha, ha, it's so lucky for me, as I see it, it seems that you 'have to' be a chef because you have no shoice left, you are not the same Zeff, the Red Leg that I have heard about. When people talk about Zeff, they think of a man who has a very powerful kick and every time he fought he never used his hands, your one kick could destroy a whole cliff even if you kicked iron you would leave your foot mark. The name Red Leg came from that powerful kick, every time you kicked your enemy, their blood would cover your leg and change it to red. Even though you did not die in an accident as I've heard, you have lost one leg, which means that you don't have any more power."

"What is the point by saying all those things? I still have two arms I can still cook."

"You've been in the Grandline and returned back safely, right? During that time, you must have written a journal, I want to have that journal from you."

"My journal? Sure, it has to be with me, but I won't give it to you. That journal is the pride of my crew and myself while we were traveling together, it is too much if I have to give it to you."

"So, I have to use my strength and take it from you, even though I am a fugitive from the Grandline, I am still Don Krieg the strongest man of East Blue, I can get thought the Grandline again, if I have enough men and power, I will never be afraid of that place like any other wimps. I am lost because I don't have enough 'information.' That's why I need that…"

"Oh, I've had just about enough of your incessant jabbering so shut you pie hole, I'm sick of hearing you talk already, piss off back to your ship and feed your men before I rip your throat out right here." Luffy snapped, plugging a finger in her ear.

"It's about time someone shut him up, it started to get boring." Yasopp said rolling his eyes and getting a laugh from his son, when they meet eyes a larger grinned blossomed over their faces and they moved to sit next to each other to chat some more about things they have missed.

And somewhere in the background is Ace beside a crate of coconut stuffing them into his pockets for ammo in beating Thatch's head into the ground with if he says anything else that'll piss him off.

And the nurses struggling to take Whitebeard alcohol from him, none of them is noticing how Zoro or Shanks would give him more when they noticed he wasn't drinking anymore, or how Nami is teaching Benn the right way to knock some since into a person that never listens.

"What did you…?"

"I told you to shut it, we don't need to hear about your plans so just go a feed your crew."

"HOW, HOW DARE!"

"NOW!" Luffy shouted pointing with her finger and flinging Krieg out of the doorway along with the white bag of food.

Nobody said anything at her display of power, nor her annoyed muttering as she paced around one of the tables, glaring at anyone that came to close to her.

"Sanji, I am very, very sorry, I never thought that it would come out like this, I…" Luffy stopped her pacing and looked down at Gin, no pity in her eyes.

"What kind of first mate are you then to not know what your captain is like? A First mate needs to understand their captain not just takes orders from them blindly, so the fault lays on you too, don't try to shrug it off and accept it." Sanji glanced at the moss ball that stiffened up a little from his point at the table; all that he could read from his face is surprise. Luffy hadn't just been talking about Gin being a bad first mate but Zoro as well…

"Hush, Luffy, Gin you don't have to apologize for feeling guilty, everyone here always does something for their own sake." Zeff said, ignoring that dagger eyes that Luffy grilled into him.

"Head chef, even you are protecting Sanji?" Patty questioned. "Why?"

"Right, this all happened because of Sanji, he wants to destroy your beloved restaurant!"

"So, Sanji, have you come up with any good ideas to take head chefs place? That's what you always wanted, right?"

"SHUT YOU, YOU IDIOTS!" Zeff shouted at them, stopping them from barking at Sanji any longer. "Have you ever been through a situation where you had no food to eat or water to drink? Have you ever known the suffering of being without food or water in the middle of the sea?"

The screen fuzzed out and instead of Sanji's hands holding a match, there are two small bony things holding only a mouldy bit of bread that ended up slipping out of fingers and into crushing water, then everything turned back into a normal picture again.

"Eh? What do you mean head chef?"

"I don't have time to talk about the past, if you want to, why don't you just get out of here through the back door?" The chefs stood themselves up from the ground, some of them held onto their bullet wounds but like all the other chefs; they kept a grip on their chosen weapon.

"I will stay here and fight, I won't him attack our restaurant."

"Me too, because this is the place where I work, and we don't have anywhere else to go."

"YOU'VE ALREADY SEEN HOW STRONG CAPTAIN KREIG IS! YOU'D BETTER GET OUT OF HERE!"

"Gin…I must tell you, that it is my duty as a chef to give food to starving people, but the man who just flew out from here is a pirate who robbed our food, so if I'm going to kill him, you have no right to stop me. Whoever dares to take this restaurant, even you, gin, I will kill that person without mercy, understand?"

"You know that look on your face Black-Lag, I've seen scarier." Shanks said, holding onto Benn for dear life as his green eyes darted to the orange haired navigator of Luffy's crew. All eyes followed his and they quickly looked away before Nami noticed them staring at her and making the comment about her.

"Why did you all look at Nami when you said that?" Chopper asked innocently, biting down into a ball of pink candy that looks like a cloud stuck on a stick. Everyone had their colour drain form their face as Nami slowly turned her head around to look at Shanks. "Oh, is it because when Nami gets mad she looks like a demon?"

"Chopper! Run!" Usopp shouted, running towards his little fighting buddy, he snatched Chopper up into his arms and darted off with Nami fuming at the two boys.

"Fufufu, Nami, would you like to come sit with me?" Robin said with a smile, Nami deflated and went over to the raven haired women and hugged her.

"I'm not scary or mean." Nami sulked into Robins shoulder.

"You are both scary and mean when the time acquires it, but just you are just a girl under it all."

"More like a witch under it all." Zoro said leaning back and drinking from a barrel, which Nami happily made explode with one of her little clouds of thunder.

Sanji turned his head away from Patty and looked over at the three pirates, the long nosed male look on the breaking point of running away, the cuties and the moss-head held the same expression, amusement.

"…We'd better get out of here first."

"Calm down, the enemy is just a bunch of sick people."

"Right, besides, I want to fight him, I want to show him the truth…by the way Gin, you told us that you didn't know anything about the Grandline, but you've been there, right?" Gin looked like he started to have a mental break down as he hunched into himself even more.

"I don't know anything because I still can't believe what happened to us. After we've been there for seven days, I'm still not sure if it was a dream or the truth, it happened so fast. Fifty powerful pirate ships…were destroyed by only one man." Every single person in the restaurant let out gasps and sounds of surprise, all but Zeff and Luffy, they didn't look very surprised. "While we were confused, our ships were sunk one by one, if there wasn't a storm, our mother ship would have been destroyed too. I don't know if the other ships survived or not, it's the scariest thing I've ever encountered. It's hard to believe this nightmare, when we saw that man's eyes, we felt that we were dead already, I don't want to think about that hawk eyed man."

"What?" Zoro asked with a snap turning his eyes onto the cowering man on the ground.

"It must be Hawkeyes, based on your story, the eyes that look like the hawks eyes, might not be enough evidence, but if that man could do something like that, I think it is enough to believe that the man that sunk all those ships is the Hawkeyes."

"Old man…it's not if or could, it's why didn't he sink them all at once?" Luffy said, sitting on top of the table next to Usopp. "That man has the power and skill to take them all down with one swing, and that storm…Gin, don't believe in luck, he let you go to prolong the game."

"Game, our lives are a game?" Luffy chuckled and Sanji saw another side of her, another broken side of her, a twisted broken side.

"Most people with power will get bored when they don't have a person that they can challenge, they either become unskilled or bored and keep training…what happened to the fifty…forty-nine ship in those seven days, would have been Hawkeyes practising his swing, training up his skills."

"How do you know so much?" Zoro questioned Luffy, he only knew about Hawkeyes so much because he wanted to one day beat him.

"Hawkeyes Mihawk…He used to train me a little bit when I was littler, much littler." Sanji's eyes were on Zeff's face, his expression showed a light of understanding go through him and he stared at Luffy like she is the saddest but greatest thing on earth.

"DON'T JOKE AROUND! NO PERSON CAN DO THAT!" Gin screamed at Luffy, getting a laugh from the girl and a grim look from Zeff.

"Don't be so upset, the Grandline is a dangerous place like that."

"You mean it isn't strange that this thing happened to them?" Zoro wondered, causing Luffy to chuckle.

"Isn't that exciting?" Luffy teased with a smirk on her face towards her first mate, and Zoro could see little things he missed before that he hadn't noticed, the first would be just how similar they both are.

"Aren't you afraid at all?" Usopp huffed, leaning on the table.

"That just means my goal really involves the Grandline, because that man is there."

"…You're crazy; you guys are going to die." Sanji said turning away from them with an annoyed look, the three Strawhats sitting around or on the table looked at him in surprise.

"That maybe right, but to say that we are crazy is too much, after I decided that I would become the world strongest swordsman, I left my life behind, the only person who has the right to say that I am crazy is myself."

"I am crazy, but not because I'm follow my dreams." Luffy said grinning; Usopp followed both their examples and looked proud as he lied he was only allowed to call himself crazy, getting a knock on the head from Zoro about lying.

"Gee. That's so crazy." Sanji said, his expression darkening in anger as his inner emotions played tug a war inside of his being.

"YOU STILL DON'T UNDERSANT WHAT'S GOING ON? THE SHIP IN FRONT OF OUR RESTAURANT NOW IS A GIANT GALLEON SHIP THAT BELONGS TO DON KRIEG, THE LEADER OF PIRATE TROOPS, IT IS ALSO THE SHIP OF THE SCARIEST PIRATE OF EAST BLUE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW? YOU CAN DO ANY CRAZY THING ON EARTH AFTER YOU TAKE CARE OF THIS THING."

"You don't have to yell, baldy, nobody is going to die, get injured yes, die no." Patty had been about to yell at Luffy but the sound of the Krieg pirates regaining motivation and energy had the chefs turning towards the door with weapons ready.

And the drums that should have been playing through their battle cry had been the laughter of Luffy as she relaxed on the table, eyes glazed over as her Haki clashed with another person's Haki just as big as her own.

"I might have lied, a bunch of people are going to die." Luffy said just as the massive galleon ship split apart in two.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?" Everyone started to scream, eyes popping out of their heads and mouths dropping open, everyone watched as the ship sank into the ocean noisily with bits of it surviving here and there.

"DAMN, NAMI, YOSAKU AND JOHNNY ARE STILL ON OUR SHIP!" Luffy shouted rushing out with the other two right behind her, the chefs hurried to pull up the anchor so they would be sucked down into the swell that Krieg's broken Galleon has caused.

Sanji went to stand next to Zeff who has noticed something out in the ocean.

"Is that Mihawk?" Shanks questioned with glee, pointing up at the screen, the image cleared up as the ocean settled and everyone could see the man sitting in his small coffin like boat with the only thing to light him up at night are a special kind of green flamed candles that never went out no matter what tried to douse the flames out.

Sanji could see the horror appear on the faces of the pirates that had swam to the surface of the calming waves.

"THAT MAN! CAPTAIN KREIG! THAT MAN IS THE PERSON WHO DESTOYED OUR SHIPS!"

"WHY DID HE CHASE US HERE? DOES HE WANT TO KILL US?"

"HE…!"

"He can destroy fifty ships by himself?"

"So, he is the one who cut Krieg's ships into pieces."

"But he looks like he's a normal person, besides he does not have any weapons."

"Where are you looking?" Zeff questioned to the chefs standing behind him, while Sanji saw Luffy and moss head coming around a corner, Luffy held a rope that connected to a small boat with the long nosed man and two others. "His weapon is on his back."

"DAMN YOU, YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH US, WHY DO YOU FOLLOW US?" Mihawk lifted his head to the side, his golden amber eyes stared at the poor fool that had shouted.

"I just wanted to kill time." Mihawk spoke the truth, looking utterly bored while saying it, the man that had shouted at him pulled out twin pistols and fired them both at Mihawk, the world's strongest swords man gracefully pulled out his sword and angled it so that the bullets slide off the blade and away from his body.

"He missed?"

"No matter how many times you try, you will miss shooting; he uses his sword to change the course of the bullets." Zoro said, surprising a bunch of people from his sudden appearance, but not at much as Luffy, Sanji had spotted the moss head and turned his head to look at the green man's captain to see what she thought of this, and her eyes blazed, they burned with fear and pride, they burned brightly in her skull with rage and familiarity. "I've never seen someone with such a gentle skill before."

"If a sword doesn't have gentleness, it is not strong." Mihawk answered Zoro, teaching him the young pup.

"You used that sword to cut that giant ship? Super." It's as his wrapping a black bandana around his green head that Krieg's crew start to recognize who he really is. "I have looked for you for a long time."

"What do you want from me?"

"To be the strongest." Zoro said as he finished tying the cloth to his head, a smirk on his face. "You're free, right? Why don't you fight me?"

"HE IS ZORO!"

"RORONOAH Zoro OF THE THREE SWORDS STYLE?"

"That pirate hunter?"

"Him?" Sanji asked as the pirate shout out who Zoro is, but his ears still picked up what is happening with Luffy and her crew.

"Hey, this isn't a good time; our ship is almost out of sight." Usopp shouted, pointing off to where their ship is. Mihawk jumped from his boat onto the wreaked platform of what used to be a very big ship.

"I really feel sorry for you, weakling, even grate swordsmen won't fight me, because they can estimate their power and compare it to me, your strong will that wants to challenge me comes from your brave heart…or from your foolishness."

"It is my dream, and my promise to my best friend." Zoro said placing a sword inside his mouth.

"The greatest swordsman and the pirate hunter?" Patty questioned, leaning on the railing, Sanji looked at Luffy and wondered how she had convinced a pirate hunter to join her pirate crew.

"No one can defeat our big bro." Luffy's eyes slid over to the two that spoke those words, her gaze cold and unfeeling.

"A lot of people can defeat him, and only two can beat him in East Blue right now, me and that man over there." Luffy said crossing her arms over her small chest and watching as Mihawk pulled out a small blade from the cross that had been around his neck.

"What do you think you're doing?" Zoro questioned around the sword in his mouth as Mihawk pointed the small blade at the green haired man.

"I am not a stupid person who uses all I have to hunt a rabbit; I know that there are many people in this world who want to become famous. This place is the East Blue, the weakest of all that are separated by the Grandline and the Red Line. Unfortunately, I don't carry a knife smaller than this one." Zoro's anger spiked and he charged at Mihawk, starting off with his second strongest move as he slashed out with them, Mihawk blocked all three swords with his one small dagger. "You are just a person who has never seen the real world."

Sanji could see the confliction in Zoro, the truth that he must face now, and Sanji could also see just when Zoro lost all reasonable thought as he blindly and roughly attacked with all his might, his swords slashing around in an insane manner while Mihawk easily deflected each blow, each strike with his dagger, until Zoro is knocked back.

The shouting coming from his pirate hunting friends only added salt to his freshly opened wounded pride, which pissed the green haired swordsman off even more.

"What is your duty? And what do you want from the ultimate power?" Mihawk questioned, Sanji saw Luffy stiffen up next to him, her eyes stared down with no feeling at the world greatest swords man. "You weakling."

"…Oh cause he saw me." She muttered shaking her head a little, until Johnny and Yosaku grew angry, taking insult to Mihawk's words and they pulled out their swords, going to get into the battle with them. "Stop, don't get involved."

She commandeered, blocking both of them in an air lock, making sure that they couldn't twitch one finger, just as Zoro got knocked back to the ground, he got back up quickly and choose a different attack form, charging it at Mihawk only to end up with a blade buried in his chest, not too deep, just a few inches from touching his heart.

Neither swordsman moved, Mihawk didn't pull out and Zoro didn't take a step back, a question came forth in Mihawk as he looked at the green eyed swordsman before him.

"Do you want this knife to go through your heart? Why aren't you stepping back?"

"I…I don't know, however if I take a single step back…I feel that I have broken my promise…and I will not be able to stand before you again."

"Yes, and that is called losing."

"Ha ha, I guess that's why I won't step back."

"Even if it means you will lost your life?"

"If I have to lose, I'd rather die." Zoro grinned around his sword; Mihawk stared for only a couple more seconds before pulling out the knife from Zoro's chest.

"Tell me your name, kid."

"Roronoa Zoro."

"I'll remember that, I haven't met someone with such a strong will like you for a long time, and to repay that, I will use the Black Sword, the strongest sword in this world to end your life." Mihawk stated, pulling the sword from his back straps and holding it out in front of him. This time Mihawk attacked first while Zoro stood in the one place and spun all his swords together, just a few seconds before Mihawk reached him, Zoro surged forwards, however his attack missed and his only body got cut up, two of his sword ended up braking apart.

He carefully placed his white Katana back inside of its sheath, and everyone watched as he stood up with his arms spread open.

"What are you doing?" Mihawk questioned, Zoro however only grinned at him.

"It's shameful, for a swordsman to be hit from behind or attack a person back."

"Splendid." Is the only word he spoke as he slashed down across Zoro's chest, more blood came gushing out and the first mate of the straw hat pirates fell backwards into the ocean.

Luffy removed her lock on the two guys being held in mid-air, they both ended up dropping their swords and diving into the ocean to get Zoro. Luffy however dashed over the air and went to punch Mihawk, her eyes cold and unforgiving.

Mihawk ended up dodging the punch and Luffy skidded to a stop right in front of him, her foot went up next and aimed for his head, but he ducked under it, he didn't pull out any blades, or wouldn't have if Luffy's hands didn't curl around thin air and hold onto sword made from air.

A trick she picked up when he had been teaching her swordsmanship, Mihawk grabbed out Black Sword just in time to block Luffy's invisible weapon.

"It's been a long time." Mihawk said, Luffy didn't say anything to him, her mouth stayed shut as she moved the air blade back. "Your form has become unclean, also, your hands are too far apart and you are off balanced…why are you attacking me? Your friend is alive."

"I know." Luffy said, speaking to him for the first time as she let go of her sword and ducked to the ground, trying to sweep at Mihawk's legs, but he jumped over them and blocked the air sword aimed at his rib cage.

"You have gotten a lot sneakier with your attack pattern." Mihawk acknowledged.

"Why are you in the East Blue?" Luffy's voice came out cold, the ocean roared around them, making bigger swells.

"I followed a mouse to relieve my boredom." Luffy stared him in his golden eyes before she lowered her arms, Mihawk put his sword back.

"Do they know I'm here?"

"They know you're in East Blue recruiting."

"I'll be back in the Grandline soon." Luffy grinned at Mihawk as the water parted and Zoro, Johnny and Yosaku came out of the water, they swam towards Usopp and the boat he is using.

"I am Dracule Mihawk. It is too soon for you to die, you have to learn more about the world, and discover your true-self. You have to become stronger Roronoa Zoro! No matter how long it will take, I will always be the greatest swordsman in the world and will be waiting for you; you have to practice both your skill and your heart to become stronger. DARE YOU CHALLENGE ME AGAIN, RORONOA ZORO!"

"You've changed." Luffy said, looking up at her old teacher from when she had been really small, Mihawk's eyes went down to hers, both reading each other.

"So have you, Gol D. Luffia."

"Don't call me by my real name." Luffy said turning towards the small boat. "Usopp, is Zoro going to live?"

"I think so, I don't know!" Usopp said just as Zoro raised his sword into the air.

"Luf…Luffy, c-can you hear…me?"

"Yeah."

"I am sorry for making you worry about me, if I…can't become an invincible swordsman you will be ashamed of me, right? From now on…I WON'T LOST TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN! Until I can defeat that man and become an invincible swordsman! I won't lost again. Do you have any problems, pirate king?"

"Shishishi, nope." Luffy laughed, her body filing up with pride, and Mihawk looked at her before walking towards his ship.

"You are a very good team; I hope that I will get to see you again. Luffia, I won't tell them that I saw you."

"Hey, Hawkeyes, don't you want my head now? The head of Don Krieg, the greatest pirate of East Blue."

"I've through of that, but I've had enough fun today, I will go back to sleep."

"Why are you saying something so mean? Even though you have had enough fun, I have not!" his suit opened up and bullets flew at Mihawk, the swordsman didn't turn around, having seen the future using Haki, he calmly got into his ship while the bullets hit a wall of air.

"Good bye." And with that Mihawk sailed off, a strong breeze pushing him along his way, Luffy looked over at Usopp.

"Usopp, why don't you all go now?"

"Roger! Zoro and I will bring Nami back for sure, you have to make that chef join us!" Usopp shouted waving good bye to Luffy.

"Here they come now…the parasites." Sanji said, taking his eyes off of the small boat that has Mihawk on it, that's sailing towards the horizon.

"Hey old guy, if I get rid of these people, I won't have to work here anymore, okay?"

"Do whatever you want."

"So old man, is that a deal?"

"It's a deal." Zeff said to the girl her face morphed into a dark smirk as she looked behind her at the pirates getting ready to swim across.

"Pull up the front porch." Sanji said to one of the chefs.

"But that will give the enemies more space to stand!"

"That's okay." Zeff said, over hearing the commotion, he got a glare from Sanji for his help, not like it's anything new. The pirates all drew out weapons and screamed at the chefs, the glory of victory already going to their heads, Luffy however had a different idea, she ended up placing an air wall in front of all the pirates, holding them off until the chefs were ready for the battle.

Luffy turned her head to see the stem of the ship slowly breaking apart from the rest of the ship, and a tiny fish with three cannon hole in it slowly paddled in the ocean. It ended up become anticlimactic when the speed that the tiny fish ship travelled could be classed as the speed in which an old person with a bad leg could walk at.

Luffy ended up dropping the air barrier while watching the happenings, and Sanji could only sigh out a breath of smoke. It took a little over ten minutes for the small boat to make it to where Krieg stood, during that time the chef that had run off to follow Sanji's instructions had found the leaver to get the porch up and out of the water.

The chefs filled out onto the porch and the pirates swimming around in the water climbed their way up onto the wooden platform.

The bell that started the fight is after the tiny fish ship is right in front of the purple ape, the two inside of the fish ship didn't even get a chance to fire out one cannon ball as Krieg lifted the ship up over his head and threw it towards the chefs.

Sanji jumped into the air, and his foot connecting with the side of the fish ship away from the restaurant started the battle between the chefs and the pirates.

"SANJI YOU MORON!"

"YOU WANT TO KILL US?"

"Yes." Sanji said after a moment of thought, looking uncaring at the two noisy chefs.

"STOP PISSING ME OFF!"

"YOU ALMOST DESTROYED THE IMPORTANT FORCE OF BARATIE!"

"What important force? No matter what weapon you used, a chef is still a chef, and they should stay in the kitchen and cook, not be in a battle with pirates." Upon looking over to the front of the porch they found that the pirates were all standing tall, looking only a little beaten up, while the chefs are picking themselves off from the ground, their limbs shacking just from that effort alone.

"They are good…and different from those pirates we are used to fighting." One of the chefs said, rubbing away blood that dripped down the side of his face.

"WHY ARE YOU GIVING UP TO EASILY? WE ARE THE FIGHTING CHEFS OF THE OCEAN!" Patty screamed, getting a laugh from the pirates.

"Fighting cooks? So what? Our job is fighting! Just give up and hand over the ship!"

"I've been a chef for ten years, and I have worked for more than three hundred restaurants, but I have always caused trouble, so nobody would hire me anymore, until we found this place, I love this place because I can both fight and cook at the same time. So there is no way we would hand over this wonderful place to a bunch of pirates!" Patty said giving a speech, as he and his best friend attacked the pirates, making them fly in the sky, cutting them and knocking them out.

"What are you doing?" A man asked getting out of the water and looking at the two chefs, he wore pale pink amour plates with a pearl in the centre of them, and a ball on the top of his head. He hit Patty and Kalune with the pearl in the centre of the round amour plates he held in his hands, knocking out the chefs.

One of the pirates ended up going up to Patty's body after spotting something interesting.

"Haha, look, this idiot has a very good knife; I'll take it because it's better than my sword." Patty grabbed the knife, the blade cutting into his hand, refusing to give up his knife to a low life pirate. They stopped playing tug-of-war over the knife when Sanji rushed up and kicked the pirate in the shoulder, sending him through about four more pirates who all crashed into the pearl guy, knocking our all five of the pirates as they crashed to the porch of the ship.

Patty's knife flipped in the air a couple of times before Sanji caught it, on the down fall.

"A knife is the chef's soul…no worthless person is allowed to touch it." Sanji said handing the knife back over to Patty as he walked towards the pearl freak. "I'll take care of them."

"SANJI YOUR SO COOL!" One of the nurses shouted, everyone watched as the blond froze in what he had been doing and turn towards where the shout had come from in slow motion, his eye landed on the pretty brown haired nurse and heart burst from his body as he spun towards her.

"You really think I'm cool, lovely lady?" He questioned, blood already dripping from his nose, the nurse however had lost the respect that she held for him in that instant, Sanji is no longer the cool pirate that had been on the screen but a love sick puppy too ready for sex.

"No." She said bluntly, turning back to her friends and ignoring Sanji who had slumped down with dark rain clouds over his head. Thatch came up to him laughing, he patted Sanji on the back grinning at him.

"Don't worry, don't worry, there are plenty of other nurses who wouldn't mind sharing a bed with you…" Somehow the two of them ended up getting a storm of coconuts thrown at them by the nurses, and they only had to wonder if Ace had given them to the girls…or if this is a coconut island that just grows the hard shelled fruit.

"Take care of us? Don't make me laugh; we will finish you off like we did with that stupid cook!" Sanji ducked under the swords, lifting his legs up into the air and using his hands to spin his body around, kicking the pirates in the head, and his finishing pose is him on one of his feet with the other raised in the air, a murderess expression on his face.

"You were all defeated by a single kick? You are all worthless, hey you? Do you only know how to kick?"

"For a chef, our hands are our lives, we won't get our hands hurt, I'll beat you with my kicks."

"You defeat me? Stop dreaming, I've been through six battles, and all my enemies are all dead, I always win without any wound, so people call me the iron wall…"

"You sure love to talk a lot, just fight already…" Luffy said, flicking her finger in the air, causing a gust of wind to come along and hit his arm up into the air, but the side of his pearl amour ended up whacking him in the nose, causing it to start bleeding.

"…blood!"

"IT'S ALRIGHT PALOO!"

"IT'S JUST A LITTLE BLOOD!"

"PLEASE CALM DOWN!"

"What's wrong with them?" The chefs taking a break from the fighting wondered about the pirates, and then the man started to bang his pearl plates together, over and over, harder and faster until he lit himself on fire.

"Hey look it's Ace." Shanks laughed, smirking over at the fire user; however a coconut filled his vision and hit him in the centre of his head, knocking him from the log he sat on.

The man ended up throwing little balls covered in flames in all and every direction, turning the porch in an ocean of flames. Sanji is the only one that ended up charging towards the flaming man, scaring the hell out of everyone as he leapt into the ring of fire the surrounded the man he wanted to kick.

"YOU DARE TO COME CLOSE TO ME IN THIS FIRE?"

"Idiot, what kind of chef would be afraid of fire?" The pirate didn't like that, he lost his temper even more and aimed a hit at Sanji, the blond ducked down under it, and using his hands he did a backflip, using the upward swing of his legs to hit the man in the face while he has his arm outraised, knowing the pirate to the ground, once again he became pissed and threw the flaming balls everywhere, but aimed it more at Zeff who stood in the doorway of his restaurant.

The old timer swung his peg leg up and around, causing a strong gust of wind to blow out the fire, and making the balls turn useless and they bounced off the walls and rolled on the ground harmlessly.

"…I'LL HAVE TO FINISH HIM AND THE FRONT PORCH OFF!" Krieg's voice screamed from somewhere over the wall of flames, and a spiked ball on a chain appeared in the sky, aiming down towards the two men surrounded by fire.

Luffy charged through the flames, a cocoon of air around her to stop the fire from touching her body, she ended up getting in front of Sanji before the blond could do anything, the air around her body travelled up her arms and when she caught the large heavy iron spiked ball the little swirls of air on her arms.

The ball ended up flying back into the air, hitting into a still solid mast, the wood broke and the top of it ended up coming crashing down on top of the pearl guy's head, knocking him out.

"These battles are pathetic…" Atmos said not impressed at all by the so called fighting, he became even more annoyed and disgusted when on the screen they could see Gin, the man that Sanji had helped, pointing a gun a Zeff's head with Zeff's wooden leg in his hand having snapped it off.

"That's cheating!"

"I'll beat him up!" Luffy glared at Gin, Sanji held his hand up stopping anything that Luffy might do.

"Wait, let's listen to him first."

"If you want to spare this man's life then you'll leave this ship."

"Leave this ship?" Sanji questioned, his gaze piercing into Gin's skull. "Why don't you just go to hell?"

"SANJI YOU MORON! DON'T TEASE HIM OR HE'LL KILL ZEFF!"

"You're in a right state you have gotten in, old man."

"Shut up stupid kid, you don't have any right to talk to me in that way." Zeff didn't look worried about his current position at all, just a little pissed off.

"STUPID KID? STOP CALLING ME A KID!" Sanji screamed, getting more of a stir from the chefs floating in the ocean.

"Is Sanji thinking of using this as an opportunity to get rid of Zeff?" Sanji ignored the comment, instead he looked Gin dead in the eyes.

"Gin, point your gun at me."

"What are you thinking?" Luffy's voice came out in a monotone, and when Sanji looked back at her, she held a disappointed look in her eyes. "You'll end up dead."

"That's alright." Luffy closed her eyes, her lids dropping down and a sigh breathed from her nostrils.

"If you want to die that much…I will help you." The pearl guy from before the got a beaten and had set himself on fire stood up, glaring at Sanji. "You made my nose bleed, twice in one fight, it's not just luck, you are too dangerous. If you don't want that old man to die, then don't move."

Paloo ran at Sanji, pulling his arm back and slamming his round shield into Sanji's head, Sanji bit the inside of his cheek, making blood come from his mouth as his body is crashed into the ground and kept on rolling until he slammed into the railing next to where Zeff laid.

"That look suits you best, because you destroyed my iron wall."

"WHY DIDN'T YOU AVOID THE ATTACK!?" Gin shouted, Sanji sat up slowly, eyes going to Gin's face.

"You're about to pull the trigger, you're such a coward, you think that I can easily accept that deal?"

"Why? It's the easiest and the best way, if you leave this restaurant, everyone will survive."

"This restaurant is that old man's treasure." Surprised looks came from all the chefs and Gin himself, Sanji looked down, his eyes glazing over. "I've already taken everything from that old man's life, his power, his dream, that's why…I DON'T WANT THAT OLD MAN TO LOOSE ANYTHING MORE!"

"This isn't the time to talk about that stupid story, stupid kid." Zeff said, his narrowing on Sanji.

"SHUT UP!" Sanji screamed. "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO TEAT ME AS A KID!"

"SANJI WATCH OUT!" Sanji turned his head around to see Paloo standing behind him, his arms raised in the sky; he then brought down both his arms and slammed the pearls into the sides of Sani's neck, making him couch up a little blood.

Sanji's world turned black as he slowly went down to the ground, Sanji came back around in time to listen to Luffy calling Gin a lowlife, but he also could see Paloo jumping into the air, bringing down his full weight on top of Sanji using the edge of his larger shield to slam into Sanji's back.

The pain nearly had the blond chef blacking out all over again as his spin curved in an abnormal way with a small crack, the taste of iron penetrated Sanji's tongue as it came up from his throat and splattering out from between his lips is a raw chocking cough.

With the buzzing in Sanji's ears he could faintly hear the other chefs screaming at him in the background, all of them either desperately trying to keep in from losing consciousness or just because they really wanted to know what Sanji had done to make it so he's to blame for taking away what their head chef used to have.

As the screen blurred Zoro blinked open his eye to stare at the blond love cook, he could feel the unease oozing from the Strawhats chef, they had fine-tuned themselves into each other because they are rivals, they need to know where the other is at all times in the battle, just in case they mistake the other for the enemy, or because it's easy to tell when the other has started to become stronger than the other.

Zoro glanced over at his foot where one of Ace's way-wood coconuts had found itself not so long ago, the first mate picked the fruit up and with a small grunt threw the coconut at the cheese head with all his might.

Sanji's nervousness popped as his foot snapped up to kick the coconut away from him, the chef turned to glare at the smirking moss ball, without a word the two of them met in the middle blocking and attacking while throwing insults at the other.

What neither of them had thought about is the coconut that had already been flying fast when Zoro had thrown it, but add with Sanji kick and the spin he added it the coconut is so fast that people without Haki couldn't follow it, the little fruit blurred under people's eyes when it flew by their noises and everyone could only watch at it slammed through Ace who looked down in slight surprise, eyes followed the trajectory of where the coconut went and Marco ended up being that mark, he however didn't even turn his head as he grabbed the flaming coconut and threw it at Ace with Haki wrapped around the shell.

"It's alright to throw coconut at Thatch, but this one in on fire Ace! Yoi!" Marco growled watching in satisfaction as the fruit went conk against the shocked face of one fire fist Ace. Ace laid out flat on his back, his eyes spinning alongside the fourth division commander.

"I never expected Whitebeards crew to act so much like ours…" Nami murmured to Robin when she handed the female a new glass of whatever everyone is drinking.

"Fufufu, I expect most respectable and powerful pirate crews out there to act like a dysfunctional family after Luffy had stopped recruiting more people and is happy with just how many of us are in her crew."

"I didn't, I just thought that's the way Luffy is…" Nami whined glaring at the three crews playing around with each other.

Suddenly Robin seemed to perk up and her gaze shifted towards the open waters, the place that's right next to Thousand Sunny, blue eyes sparkling in the fire light.

"It would seem that one of our allies has finally shown up." Robin spoke just as a bright yellow submarine burst from the water, heads turned and weapons are drawn, they knew out the Death Doctor and his ability to not get personal with any other pirates besides the fights that led to hole ships being meshed around with people's bodies.

"You're rather late." Zoro snorted when the raven haired death doctor emerged from within the submarine followed by the rest of his jump suit wearing crew.

"Didn't think it would be too series, half the time her vivre card is burning."

"Humph, what about the news?" Nami demanded the dark doctor as he jumped from the submarine to be with the welcoming party.

"News crows can't swim." Law said sarcastically to the carrot top. "Besides I brought a present."

In one of the hands of the crew is a box, Nami raised a brow and lifted the lid, inside is a severed head of a marine, she knew that because of the cap that is still on his alive head.

"And…?" Nami pressed on, ignoring the glare that the man is giving her.

"He's a vice-admiral that likes to ears drop; we have the rest of his body below." Shachi commented when he saw that Nami is slowly wearing his captain out.

"Why are you here?" Shanks questioned, intrigued that a happy crew like Luffy's could be allies with such a dark crew.

"I'm paying a dept."/ "He's a massive softie." Law and Nami said at the same time both with matching looks on their expression, when they heard what the other had they say their eyes narrowed down at each other.

"What's with them?" Sabo questioned Usopp; the long nosed sharpshooter looked at the blond with a grin on his face.

"Sexual tension." Usopp said with a shrug, he didn't expect that his body to be struck by lightning as soon as the words left his mouth.

"GAHHH USOPP!" Chopper screamed running towards his crispy friend and battle partner.

"Yo…your ge-getting qu-quicker…" Usopp acknowledged Nami having taken some time in teacher her quick-draw a few months back so that she didn't have to use up large amounts of her tempo power at once when there are large groups of enemies around her.

"What's up with the screen?" Penguin questioned, he has been wanted to ask that question since he walked out of that door and seen it.

"Chip can show memories." Brook said pointing his bony finger at the man with a roasted potato in his hand not even looking at the new comers, like most of the pirates are doing now after they noticed that the Heart pirates are not there to attack them. "We are in the middle of watching Sanji's, when he first joined the crew."

"It's rather intriguing then just talking about what happened." Robin said going back over to her log and sitting down with a book ready in her hands.

"Hmmm…" Law hummed taking a seat next to the raven haired female, leaving behind a fuming navigator. "Nami…"

Law beckoned with one finger towards the strong willed and stubborn female, she didn't follow at first, in fact she sneered and turned her face away to greet Bepo.

"Come." Law's clip voice rumbled, hating the fact that he's being ignored, Nami smiled broadly at Law when she turned to face him, and she deliberately went over to the barrels on the other side of where he is sitting to grab a mug and flirt with one of the drunken pirates laughing on top of the barrel.

Shanks snickered loudly when Law ended up entrapping Nami inside his personal blue bubble and replaced her with a rock that had been between his legs so the short tempered female is sitting between them with two mugs of wine.

Law wrapped his arms around the girl and sunk his teeth into an exposed part of her neck, informing every single male that she belongs to him, making a few of them sob openly at the loss of a beauty.

"Are they always like that?" Thatch questioned, it seemed like a high tension kind of relationship, and quite a bother to keep going.

"Yeah, because they both have a more dominate personality it fits them better, because when either Nami or Law manages to make the other beg, it gives them a highly toxic dose of power that they both crave, doesn't mean that they don't sleep around with other people, after all the Grandline is huge and they are not always so close by that they can have a change to meet." Franky summarised, laughing loudly as he finished it off.

"Meh, too much trouble, I prefer the lovely girls that hover around bars flirting with other sailors. They don't expect any kind of commitment at all." Thatch stated, wiggling his brows up at Franky.

"You don't know what you are missing out on." Usopp said, crawling over to the two older people, burnt and frizzy. "I have a girl waiting for me…"

"That's right, little rich blondie." Thatch snickered, looking down at Usopp with just a little bit of a wince in his expression; he didn't want to know what it's like to be struck by lightning.

"Kaya isn't just rich or blond, she is an amazing person with a strong personality, and she's waiting for me to return to her side once again…"

"Dose Luffy have a partner, yoi?" That had those that heard the question to quite it down, gazes turning towards Usopp who the question had be directed towards, Usopp calmly and slowly sat up, his expression unreadable. The rest of the pirate kings crew all looked sober and series.

"Does Luffy have a partner?" Nami repeated the question, her finger removing itself from Laws' ear, much to his pleasure.

"Pff-hahaha." Usopp laughed first, getting the others to laugh along.

"Does that mean she doesn't?"

"Luffy does have a partner," Robin answered smoothly, her finger tapping the rim of her ale mug. "It's just hard for those two to ever meet, even when they do it's hard for them to be alone, so Luffy gets depressed every time it's brought up."

"Who is it?"

"Someone from a royal bloodline on an island we visited a while back." Chopper said, joining the conversation.

"Who?"

"Princess Thaisa, the youngest of three sisters, Princess Kairi and Princess Shanti." Sanji said, hearts popping out of his eyes as he reminisces over her beauty and the beauty of her older sisters.

"What Island?" Shanks questioned them; he wanted to know what the girl he looked after taste is like.

"Daight."

"Ohh I've heard about it, but I haven't been there before!" Shanks questioned, leaning closer to the first Straw hat pirate he could see that looked smart, which so happened to be Robin.

"It is rather hard to get too…and it's wasn't a pleasant place to enter."

"Why?" Ace and Thatch asked at the same time, getting slightly annoyed looks from the people that have heard about the Legendary Daight.

"It's an island that's always in war, it's said that the war started back in the Void century, Marines can't even get their hands on the island," Sabo enlightened for those that never heard of the island. "There are a few books about the island, and in each book it's only detailed reports of a sighting of the Island, it's surrounded by five meters of fog all around, and then the island itself is has a mirage circling it, if someone accidentally passes through the mirage then hovering over the island is a small moon and a small sun, casting the island in half, night and day."

"I've read that the people living on the island can rival those on Amazon Lily."

"Luffy's the only one that can answer that, but her answer would be biases because she's dating a princess on Daight." Nami stated slapping the back of Law's hand away from her hair before he noted it up any more.

"So what about this Island, are you going to tell us anything about it?"

"The half of the Island that lives under the moon have built buildings, the plants that grow on that side have…"

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but could we finish watching Sanji's memories, it's just gotten to the good bit." Chip whined, turning only his head around, a half-eaten chocolate bar in his hand.

"Oh yeah, right, forgot." Shanks said turning to the screen once again; he however got Nami and Robin to promise him that they would have a talk about Daight with Sabo and Marco.

"One day I'm going to find All Blue!"

"All Blue?"

"Yep, the legendary sea!" A little version of Sanji said to three other chefs.

"You think you'll find it?"

"It's just a myth, no one will find that sea because it doesn't exist."

"IT EXISTS!"

"Think about this, the All Blue is a paradise for chefs like us, where all the fish from the world live, a place where we can have a full stock of ingredients…but only if that sea really does exist, but it doesn't. If you use your head you will know that only day dreaming chefs think about that sea, alright, let's stop chatting and get back to work."

"Work, work! Why don't you just go and get the plates back, Sanji!"

A little while later found the chefs sitting around a table while Sanji scrapped food off of a plate and into a bin.

"Hey Sanji what are you doing?"

"Getting rid of the rotten food, you should stop eating the left overs, we have plenty of food, beside we'll reach port in two days."

"That's why you look so skinny, you should eat more, don't forget Sanji, we are chefs of the sea, and we don't know what will happen in the middle of the sea, we might one day not have any food at all, so we have to be prepared." Sanji looked like he took in some understanding, but the chef that had lectured him ended up turning his speech into a joke when he held up a fishbone with only it's head still attached. "So do you wanna eat this left-over fish?"

"No!" The chefs laughed at Sanji's expression and turned back to their meals, only for the ship to launch to the side dramatically, the sea chefs fell from their seats, Sanji toppled over, the food and plates all clatter or broke all over the ground.

They could all hear the screaming that's happening on top deck, the sound of feet thudding, people falling to the ground.

"EVERYONE, PLEASE CALM DOWN!" What the watchman shouted next contradicted his own words. "A PIRATE SHIP IS HEADING TOWARDS US!"

"IT'S ZEFF THE RED LEG!"

"He came back from the Grandline?" One of the chefs questioned, listening to all the commotion, the noises suddenly stopped, an eerie quite that had Sanji retreating a little away from the hatch, it turned so quite that those inside the kitchen could listen in on the conversation of the captain of the cruise ship and the captain of the pirate ship.

"What do you want from us, Red Leg?"

"Take over!" People started to scream again, the sound of feet slapped the wood and the sound of people that resisted hitting the deck got the boy Sanji shivering in fear, cold sweat dripped down his skin.

The hatched opened up, letting in a flood of rain water that hadn't washed over the sides of the ship yet; two pirates came down the steps, swords out and at the ready for an attack or otherwise.

"Get up deck!" The heaver of the two shouted, the chefs bolted up the stairs while Sanji moved inside of a cupboard, pushing larger pots slowly in front of his skinny small form.

The blond clutched at his elbows, arm wrapped around his knees as he looked at the door that's around the large pots, waiting, holding his breath. The less larger pirate opened the cupboard door with a bang, looked at the pots with disgust and got up.

"Frank I don' think they…are you raidin' their food storage, cap'in don' like stealin' food from other ships."

"Ahh, he won't know if I throw it into the pile with all the loot."

"Your life." The two of them left the kitchen; Sanji lifted his head up, a spark entering his eyes as he moved the pots away from the door so that he could get out. The boy carefully stepped around the thing that are on the ground, he stopped however when he found a fallen knife block, the blades that are kept nice and sharp had slid out from the slits in the block of wood. Sanji stared down at the knives, his expression darkening as he goes around and around in his thoughts.

Finally he picked up two of the bigger knives, they were the equally the same length as his arms, one of them nice and thin for long, clean slices while the other fat for chopping up thick meat, to cut through bones on fish.

Sanji climbed the stairs, watching the open hatch, ignoring how he became drenched from the water that splashed down into the hatch; he ignored how he became blinded by the heavy rain drops that splattered next to his eyes.

He poked his head out from the square hole, blue eye looking at what's happening through the hefty downfall of water. He found people on the ground, some supporting others, hiding behind things, hiding behind each other, cowering, but all of them started at one scene.

A man with little red bows at the end of each side of his plated moustache, he wore the captain's clock, Zeff the Red Leg had his hand gripping at the head of someone in his crew.

What Sanji didn't see had been the part of the deck behind the hatch, the pirates spotted his head pop out from the hatch like a golden beacon, two pirates walked up to the boy, and the taller one of the two bent down and grabbed the back of Sanji's shirt, lifting him up out of the hatch.

Sanji panicked and flailed his arms around; he managed to dig the tip of the thinner blade into the pirates' finger, cutting it open.

"Ouch!" He said dropping Sanji to the ground and attracting the attention of others.

"Hey kid, it's dangerous to play with knives." The shorter of the two stated, the look he sent Sanji said that he's a little brat that doesn't under anything in the world.

"See? I'm bleeding now." The tall one showed his bleeding finger, pointing at it like the red dribble that came from a cut the size of one paper would give anybody.

"SHUT UP!" Sanji shouted, annoyed at the mockery that the pirates are observing him with.

"NO SANJI! DON'T FIGHT THEM!" One of the chefs shouted, Sanji looked at their distorted images that the rain turned them into.

"KID DON'T ANNOY THEM!" A guy shouted from the passenger list.

"DO SOMETHING! HE IS A MEMBER OF YOUR CREW!" A female screeched, possibly at someone that works on the ship.

"Kid, do you want to die?" Zeff questioned, wondering about the sanity in the boy, but then again there is always someone that has to fight back, all of them deadly in their own way, this boy included.

"Who wants to die? You'll kill us anyway so I better kill you first!" Zeff kicked down at Sanji, making him fly backwards, he broke some wooden creates that had been fastened down, Zeff walked over to Sanji, stood over the boy.

"I have a dream…" Sanji moved his body as much as he could until he wrapped his teeth around Zeff's booted ankle. "One day I'll say that I found the All Blue!"

Laughter rang across the deck at Sanji's confession, followed by hopelessness from the chefs that shook their heads at Sanji who could speak about his delirious dream in a life and death situation. Zeff kicked out his foot, making Sanji fly into the splinted broken creaks at are just waiting for the next wave to come and sweep it into the ocean.

"I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO KILL ME IN A PLACE LIKE THIS, COLD-BLOODED PIRATE!" Sanji shouted his body however unable to move.

"Let's go captain, that storm is coming faster than we thought!"

"Ok." Zeff said turning away from Sanji to look at his crew already retreating to their pirate ship. "Take all the treasure to our ship."

What happened next had Sanji being swept up and over the railings of the boat, water swelled around Sanji, pulled at his small body, dragging him into the darken water, the two ships couldn't withstand the next lot of wave, flipping them over, making them crash into each other, bodies and wood joined Sanji in the ocean, before his consciousness faded out completely he could see Zeff's body swimming towards Sanji, not going for any other person drowning in the beautiful unforgiving ocean, but Sanji's body.

Birds flew through a gorgeous blue sky…

"It's about time you regained consciousness kid." Zeff said, drawing Sanji's gaze towards the pirate, the boy is quick to sit up, however he curled up around his stomach and grimaced, pain flaring through his body, when he lifted up his shirt lovely sized purple bruises bloomed over two spots on his stomach, both bruises meeting somewhere in the middle.

"A person that has been kicked by me…can't move so fast." It sounded like Zeff is bragging about his kicking abilities.

The surrounded area around the two people is just rocks and the ocean, nothing else so far.

"Where's the ship?"

"Ship? Do you see those pieces of wood floating out there? That's your ship, mine as well." Zeff turned to face Sanji, to look the boy in the eyes. "We have been here for two days, this here is a rock in the middle of nowhere, it's got nothing on it, and we can't swim to catch fish because the waves have curved the rock nice and smooth, no way to get back up…you want to cry right? Because there isn't any food."

"WHO WANT'S TO CRY? IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, I'LL KILL YOU!"

"Stop barking, you'll end up dying, when you die I'll eat your body to keep myself alive." Zeff turned away from Sanji, once more looking out at the ocean. "The only way to survive is to wait for someone to come and rescue us, if we are lucky there will be a ship within this week…however if we are unlucky we have to wait here until we have become corpses."

"A CORPSE?!" A shadow blocked out the sun to Sanji, the boy looked up at Zeff to see him holding out a bag towards Sanji.

"This is your portion, it's food, it's enough for five days, but if you're smart it'll last longer."

"WAIT A MINUTE! YOUR PORTION IS THREE TIMES BIGGER THAN MINE!" Sanji shouted pointing at the pirates bag, Zeff sneered down at Sanji.

"I'm an adult, so I need more energy than you do, in a situation like this, we'd better be good to each other so we can survive, you should be happy that I gave you that food, don't even think that I'll get along with you." Zeff placed his right foot onto the top of Sanji's head. "You go over that side of the rock to watch for passing ships, while we are waiting we won't move too much so we don't lose too much energy."

Sanji grabbed his bag and begun to walk to the other side of the rock that couldn't be much bigger than ten by ten meters. Sanji passed rock after rock…until he sat on the other side of the massive isolated rock, the boy sat at the edge and just waited, not moving an inch as he saw movement of the sun, the changing of the colours in the sky.

When the sky and the ocean turned different shades of vibrant oranges, only the sound of his stomach letting out a rumble did his blank staring draw him from his day dreams.

Sanji reached towards the bag, his hand over his stomach, however he didn't grab it, he paused and seemed to think, his body shivered as he curled up, to sit and wait.

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"

On the second day to keep the boredom away partly, Sanji pulled out all his food and sorted it into sections.

The third day he ate a little bit of food, eyes staring out at the ocean, that night it rained, the boy didn't get any sleep, waiting for the wether to stop, the boy looked for a shelter, or a place where he could make one, but he never found that kind of place.

The rain from the third night left puddles of water for the fourth day, Sanji drank greedily, before looking at his bag, ready to just pounce on the food that's taunting him, the boy dunked his head in the water, keeping himself from breathing for a number of time before lifting his head up and gasping, scanning the horizon for a ship, it ended when his eyes landed on the bag of food, which in turn made him place his head under the water again.

He repeated the dunking of his head on the fifth day, this time it had been harder on him, nausea started to set in and he felt like he needed to vomit. His stomach made pained noises…and Sanji hit his stomach every time it did so, repeating that he isn't hungry.

The sixth day had him moving around, he found half of a life raft which he dragged over to his camping spot, he propped it up with two bit of draft wood for a make shift shelter, Sanji rested a little bit, took the time to watch the blue ocean before he moved around again, picking up smaller bits of wood that he set up in a camp fire position.

While the moon climbed up higher in the sky Sanji talked out loud.

"No one has come yet…and it has been six days already."

The seventh day rained, the water of the ocean reached the lip of the rock, Sanji sat under his make shift shelter, ignoring the four spots that leaked water into his shelter and then he spotted something…

"A SHIP! YES A SHIP! HEY! HEY!" Sanji turned to his fire, not really seeing that one of these drips hoved over that mound of wood, turning it damp. He got a small spark going from striking to rocks together, but the most the wood it is let out a little bit of smoke. "WAIT! DON'T GO! I AM HERE! WAIT FOR ME, HELP ME! HEY! HELP! HERE! HEY, HEY! Here…DAMN!"

Sanji curled up in despair on the ground, his forehead touching the rock as he cried, the ship now a dot in the distance.

The eighth day Sanji used his rocks to mark the days that had already passed, he carved them out deeply, doing nothing but sitting and scrapping the rock over one spot, up and down, always in the motion.

Day nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen and fourteen were all the same, eating a nibble, scraping at the ground, staring, eating a nibble, drinking water if it had rained, staring, and more staring, he then spotted something in the water, Sanji peered down.

His face stared up at him, before it rippled and a purple silvery fish swam up to the surface, it ducked back down then popped back up.

"Pretty…" Sanji sniffed, watching the fish swim around and around until it vanished under the water and disappeared.

The days after fourteen all the way to day twenty-five repeated itself, the fish however never showed up again and neither did the ship. Sanji held the last bit of bread that had been inside his sack, he even made sure that there wasn't even a crumb left in the bag, he nibbled on his last bit of food while he flashbacked to the chefs that had teased him about throwing away left overs.

He cried at the thought of the food he threw out, at the fish that he didn't accept and then the last bit of bread slipped from his bony fingers, dropping down into the ocean that will never return his food to him.

He laid on the edge and just looked down, Sanji didn't stay looking down at the ocean for a very long time as he looked up to watch the horizon.

Day twenty-seven found Sanji still laying in the same spot, however as he stretched out his hands he found that everything turned fuzzy.

"Eh?"

Day fifty, day sixty, day seventy…they all passed by until day seventy one, the loneliness, the sadness, the nothingness had the skin on bones turning to look over his shoulder at where he had first came from.

"Is…he still alive?" Sanji pressed his dry lips together and begun to move his body, pain alone every limb, tingles under his skin, black spots dancing in his eyes, Sanji moved his deathly skinny, starving body towards were the old geezer sat.

"He has that much food?" Sanji questioned with his make shift sharp roc, sharpened from being scrapped against the ground marking the days that had passed. The bag behind Zeff still looked as big as when they first landed on the rock.

"What are you doing here kid? Have you seen a ship?" Zeff questioned without turning to look over at Sanji.

"I came here to take your food! If you stop me I'll try to kill you, you still have plenty of food so you better share!" Sanji said, going over to the bag, Zeff didn't move as Sanji touched the bag, digging in his sharp rock, opening up the fabric. "Eh? EH? EHHH!?"

"I told you not to see each other until we saw a ship." Zeff said, his voice just as raspy and just as quite as Sanji's.

"Why is there…only treasure in this bag?" Sanji questioned, lifting up the useless pieces of jewels and gold.

"I have many treasures, but I can't eat them."

"Hey! This bag…it was all treasure? Wait a sec!" Sanji grabbed Zeff, his eyes closed as he yelled at the older man. "WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD? HOW COULD YOU SURVIVE IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE ANY FOOD? YOU TOLD ME THAT ADULTS NEED MORE FOOD…!?"

Sanji fell backwards when he got a good look at Zeff, just as skinny as he is, more like bones just covered in skin, could see the separate bones on each finger, in his wrist up his arm, the shape of his skull, unlike Sanji, Zeff only had one leg…

"What happened to your…let? You…ATE YOUR OWN LEG!"

"Yes."

"BUT THEN…YOU GAVE ME ALL YOUR FOOD!"

"Yes."

"BUT WITHOUT YOUR LEG, YOU CAN'T BE A PIRATE ANYMORE!"

"Yes."

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? I'M THINKING OF KILLING YOU, AND I NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR YOU! THEN WHY…WHY?"

"Because…both of us share the same dream." Zeff smiled, his face not looking so pained as he thought about his dream, relief entering him for a short while.

"All blue? But your crew said that it didn't exist."

"It does, and when the time comes I'll go back to the Grandline, even if I have to travel for one year…but I see the possibility to find All Blue in the Grandline, however I have lost my crew. Without them I don't want to be a pirate anymore, and even if they didn't believe in the All Blue, they were good people…so good…" Zeff collapsed backwards, his body with no energy to support itself.

"DON'T DIE OLD MAN, YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" Sanji shouted, frantically looking down at Zeff.

"The sea can be so…cruel…to us. I wonder…how many people are waiting like us in this wide sea. I have been a pirate for so long and I have been through the situation where I didn't have anything to eat many times, and whenever I think of that…I come up with an idea. It would be great if there was a restaurant in the middle of the sea."

"Restaurant?"

"Yes, and if I ever get off this rock, I will put everything I have to build a restaurant, the only person who can open the restaurant in this piracy age is me." Zeff gave out a massive smirk, grinning at the thought of his restaurant."

"Okay, I will help you, so don't die!"

"Ha, weak kids like you? You can't help me!"

"I WILL BECOME STRONGER, YOU'LL SEE!"

Over the next fourteen days Sanji struggled to keep himself and Zeff alive, he gave Zeff water whenever they had fresh water to drink, he kept the old pirate warm by building a fire, Sanji collapsed on day eighty three, then on day eighty-five, people appeared, the ship that Sanji had shouted for, had seen in the first week on the rock had come back.

The first sign of food had Sanji scoffing it down, only for his body to reject the heavy food, the medics quickly started to pump Sanji, forcing him to vomit the food, injecting him with a drip.

Over a course of months both Zeff and Sanji went through rehabilitation, putting nutrition's back into their bodies, starting with small very thin watery soup, thicker soup, soup with small chunks, soup with thicker chunks, bread is allowed to be added to the soup, mashed vegetables, light watery fruits, they gained weight slowly, and they could then eat the heavy stuff, then meals.

"He ate his leg and gave me the food…so that I could survive." Sanji said, forcing his swore body up from the ground where he had been knocked backwards. "I won't give this restaurant…to anyone, and I won't allow anyone to kill that old man. IN ORDER TO SAVE A KID'S LIFE, HE COULD PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE! IF I DON'T RISK MY LIFE, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPAY WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME!"

"REPAY ME?" Zeff shouted, glaring at Sanji. "Don't overeat, Sanji, I'm not unfortunate enough to let a kid like you protect me."

"Who's overreacting? If you didn't lose your right leg, these people wouldn't be able to hurt you at all." Sanji growled back, ignoring the chatter from the chefs that spoke out loud about the fact that Sanji hadn't been trying to kill Zeff, and his aim hadn't been to take over the restaurant.

"Why…why are you standing up Sanji?" Gin questioned, only he didn't get his answer as Paloo started to laugh.

"STILL HAVEN'T ENOUGH OF ME? YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME! In the real world, the loser is the one who is defeated. It doesn't matter whether we use hostages or not…THE WINNER IS STILL THE WINNER! ISN'T THAT RIGHT, CAPTAIN KRIEG?"

"Absolutely."

"RIGHT? GIN?" Paloo questioned the man pointing the gun at Zeff's head. "Maybe I shouldn't ask you, you're the one who always sticks to that rule…therefore, there's no way that you can still defeat us, SO WHY DO YOU STILL STAND IF YOU KNOW THERE'S NO HOPE!?"

"I just want this place…to last even one second longer!"

"DOES THAT MORON WANT TO DIE?" Patty yelled, no one able to do anything to stop what Paloo is about to do to Sanji, the hit made Sanji fly and crash into the railing.

"SANJI! OUCH HOT!" The chefs tried getting to the blond chef, the fire preventing them from getting close to the young male. "Damn it the fire is getting stronger!"

"What will we do, it'll get inside soon!"

"Hey stop the fire! Otherwise we won't have any ship left!"

"But the fire is too strong." The chefs and the pirate floating in the water all splashed water onto what they could.

"HA HA HA! YOU CAN TRY TO COUNTER ME, THAT IS IF YOU WANT THE OLD MAN TO DIE!" Sanji rubbed the blood from his bleeding nose, his eyes darting to the gun barrel that is pointed at Zeffs head.

The flames ended up getting bigger, burning brighter, getting hotter, and they all seemed to lean towards Luffy, twisting into a large upside down fire twister.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? DON'T HURT THEM!" Sanji screamed at Luffy, the girl ignored the blond as she sent the fire down through the wood, not burning anything as it went, the water boiled and then steam hot up through the wood, expanding the planks, making them explode outwards, breaking the porch apart.

"GIN! SHOOT THAT OLD MAN'S HEAD!" Krieg ordered Gin, Luffy placed her hands inside of her pockets and looked at Gin.

"Hey, I haven't attacked any of you, I only broke the porch."

"YOU IDIOT! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!" Sanji screeched, Luffy's eyes stared down at Sanji, her expression series, not a tiny bit of playfulness in her expression, in fact Sanji would say that they held a slight be of disappointment in them.

"I'm going to destroy this ship."

"WHAT?"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

"DESTROY THIS SHIP?"

"YOU'RE TOO MUCH!"

"IT'S OUR SHIP! WE WON' LET YOU DO THAT!"

"GIN! DON'T HESITATE, KILL ZEFF!" Everyone sounded the same, Sanji grabbed the front of Luffy's shirt and pulled her close to his face.

"Hey! Are you serious? Do you know why I've stayed here all this time?"

"I don't care."

"What?"

"I. Don't. Care." She sounded out, brushing Sanji's hand from the shirt.

"Do you know how much I owe this place and its importance? You don't understand at all."

"So you want to die for a restaurant?" Her expression darkened, her eyes shined in rage and she glared at Sanji with burning fury. "You're an idiot!"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

"I called you an idiot, because you're NOT REPAYING HIM BY DYING! HE DIDN'T SAVE YOU FOR THIS!" Luffy scream in Sanji's face, this time her fingers gripping the front of his shirt. "HE SAVED YOU YET YOU WANT TO DIE? You're so weak, a weakling, it's so pathetic."

"SO, DO YOU HAVE A BETTER IDEA?" Sanji screamed back, he might have done more if Luffy hadn't been a female.

"Both of you stop fight, it is bad luck that you met the Krieg pirates, you can't do anything anyway, as long as we still have a hostage! I will burn the both of you with fire Paloo!" However Gin ended up hitting Paloo in the centre of his armour, shattering the plates.

"Sorry Paloo, please get out of my way."

"Gin…why?"

"Gin!"

"Why did you hurt Paloo like that?"

"GIN ARE YOU TRYING TO BETRAY ME?"

"I am sorry, captain Krieg…can I end this man's life with my own hand?"

"Huh?" Sanji questioned, looking at Gin, assessing the damage already done to his body, the damage that Gin's weapon had on Paloos' armour.

"Oh look, my plan is going great!" Luffy laughed, only for Sanji to yell at her for speaking bullshit.

"Sanji, I want you to get out of this ship without being injured, but it seems impossible."

"You're damn right."

"So I would like to be the one who kills you, it's a special honour from me to you."

"Oh thanks, but you better get lost."

"You too, girl, it would be better if you left with your friends earlier." Gin addressed Luffy, the girl started blankly at Gin before her eyes shifted towards the swimming weaklings to the captain of the pirates.

"Don't worry; I will not lose to a bunch of weaklings like you."

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO OUR COMMANDER!"

"DO YOU REALIZE THAT WE KRIEG PIRATES ARE THE STRONGEST PIRATES OF EAST BLUE?"

"You claimed that you are the strongest only because you have a lot of people on your side, isn't that right?" The screaming pirates all flipped their heads back at the truth. "Ohh lookie, they are stunned!"

"So, that's true." Sanji sighed, letting the smoke flow out of his lungs and mouth to float up into the air and vanish. The stunned pirates ended up moving to charge at the duo, anger fuelling them as they held their weapons.

"IF WE CAN'T KILL THEM WITH OUT OWN HANDS, THEN WE ARE NOT REAL PIRATES!"

"Stop there!" Kriegs voice sent shivers down their spines. "If you react to what they are saying, then you are admitting that what they say is the truth. It doesn't matter if you are strong or weak; it's all about the results. I am still here, so why are you complaining? Hey kid, between me and you, who do you is the greater pirate?"

"Wouldn't that be me?" Luffy questioned in suck a deadpan voice that it sounded like she couldn't even think of a smartass comment, because what Krieg said is so utterly foolish.

"CAN'T YOU BE NICE TO HIM?" Patty shouted at the girl, Luffy turned her head to look at the sea chef.

"Why do I have to be nice to someone that wants to kill me?"

"That…well…I guess you have the right logic." Patty mutters retreating his eyes to the ground, away from Luffy's stare.

"Cut the crap and get out of my way." Krieg pulled his round golden shield up, the fluff around the sides blew gently from the breeze, the Krieg pirate mark stood out against the golden background. "I will teach that dreamer kid the truth about real power!"

"M! MH5!"

"What? Wait a minute captain Krieg!" Gin shouted looking towards his captain.

"What's that?" Sanji blinked.

"I beg you captain, please let me kill this man myself!"

"I do not care how they will be killed; I always tell you that I hate the words, 'Pride' and 'Sympathy.' So understand this, this is a fight, and the only goal is to win!" The mouth on the skull spread open to reveal a hole. "As long as the victory is mine, I can use even poison gas, you inhale this gas, just one breath, and the poison will get into your bloodstream and then you will die, this is real power!"

The crew placed gas masks over the faces, diving under the water for more protection, the cooks all ran to the edge to dive into the water, or they raced inside of the restaurant, slamming the doors and windows closed as the bullet shaped projection flew towards the large bit of the deck.

With a flick of her wrist, Luffy sent the large gas filled bullet off to the side, going towards open water, when it hit the water it exploded, sharp star pointed blades flew upwards and to the sides, the others cut through the water slowing down faster than the ones that flew in the air.

Everyone not underwater watched as the stars spun in the air before they stopped spinning altogether and they fell back down into the ocean, flipping over and over before it landed in the ocean and sank down.

"Eh? It wasn't gas?" Luffy innocently questioned, looking at Sanji for an answer.

"YOU JUST REALIZED THAT?" Sanji shouted, he blinked stupidly when Luffy sent him a smirk.

"HA HA HA HA! THE POISON GAS IS THE IMPORTANT WEAPON, so I have to use it wisely, I think it'd better to use it to destroy a small village, you are just a bunch of cowards so I won't waste this weapon…"

"What did you just say?" The happy-teasing girl had stopped, frozen on the spot; Sanji wondered what got Luffy so upset. "A village? Did you just say that you attack villages with poison gas? How crowdedly, how pathetic."

"Anything for victory."

"Really? Then you shouldn't mind my victory against you then." The spot where Luffy had been standing has a person sized whirlwind; Luffy appeared in front of Krieg and sent her foot into the side of his head, knocking him back into his second main mast.

The dust and debrides hadn't settled yet, when pointed yellow and green metal stakes flew towards the girl who just moved to the side.

The level of skill and power behind the two could be seen so plainly, everyone could tell who is the stronger of the two, some of them denied it, that their captain couldn't be so much weaker than that small girl.

Krieg ran out of the dust, his arm pulled back and ready to swing his motor powered arm at Luffy's head, the girl ducked under it and kicked up with her left leg, making Krieg fly up into the air a few meters before coming back down heavily, leaving a dint in the wood.

Luffy waited until Krieg got back up, waited for him to attack first, Krieg did in fact attack first, his anger started to get the better of him.

Gin dropped his weapons, both of them thudded to the ground, Sanji glanced over at the skinny man, and Gin had his mouth and eyes blown wide, disbelief shock expressed on his face.

Luffy ended up using her elbow when Krieg went to attack her from behind, what happened hadn't been expected, Kriegs shield got between him and her elbow, and force behind the blow of her attack ended up making the MH5 inside of the shield, purple tinted grey gas exploded out of the shield.

It surrounded the two of them in an instant, Gin, Sanji and everyone else held their breathes, staring at the cloud of poison, Patty came out on Zeff's orders and he hooked an arm around the two skinny men and dragged them inside of the restaurant.

People ducked under the water once again when the poison started to spread out, covering everything, everyone waited for it to full vanish, when it did start to clear the two people at the core of the explosion.

They were both on the ground, both balled up, neither of them moved…

Sanji opened up the door when he saw that every single bit of purple gas had vanished, Gin ran outside with him.

"Luffy!" "Captain?" They shouted together, they watched, waited, for either of them to move, only one of the bodies moved, that was Kriegs.

His sat up, with a loud gasp, his crew cheered for the man, he had survived a the girl didn't, the cheering stopped when Kriegs face turned red, purple, than blue, sweat ran down his head, his hands went to his throat, mouth gapping, blood ran out of his ears, sliding down the side of his neck.

His eyes turned blood shot and looked like they were about to pop out of his skull, it didn't help that he had blood oozing from his lower eyelid, spilling out and going down his face.

Kriegs nose bled, he chocked, gasping, soon he couldn't stand, he knees his the ground and his leaned over, a flood of blood poured out of his mouth, staining the wood, his nails dug into his neck, leaving scratch marks, his effort to get air down to his lunges useless.

Everyone watched, they could see the least moments when he gave up, when the man that's said and thought to be strongest in East Blue gave up on life, his eyes dimmed, his hands dropped, and so did the rest of him, he face planted the bloody wood.

"That's disgusting." Luffy's muffled voice spoke through a gas mask, her head turned to looked at Krieg who had died right next to her, she got up and moved towards Kriegs body, he toe reached out and her big toe nudge the body. "Guess he's dead…oops."

"OOPS?" Everyone screamed, looking at the girl like she's a monster.

"It's not my fault he ended up dead, who told him to make such bad explosive devises and store them in such a stupid spot." The girl scowled at the pirates that had just lost their captain. Silence echoed over the open sea, they could hear each slap the waves made against the wood. "If you're not going to attack, then get the hell out of her or I'll personally kick each and every one of you out into the middle of nowhere."

One of their life boats managed to survive Mihawk's attack on the ship, every single pirate got into the small boat, Gin closed his mouth, his expression thoughtful, he turned around and looked at Sanji, Sanji stared, waiting for the man to attack him.

"I'm sorry," Gin bowed to Sanji. "…for the trouble."

"Don't come back." Sanji said with a smirk, while he eyed what Luffy was doing with Kriegs body, he had to wonder why she was wrapping it up in a sheet and tying a rope around it.

Luffy stepped up to Gin and held out one end of the rope.

"He is your captain; you will deal with the body."

"Ah, right, thank you."

"For someone that comes off heartless, she does some pretty caring things." Izo approved, placing his arms inside of his long sleeves, one half of his lip upturned into a smile.

"Much like a little brother of ours that comes off as a jerk that doesn't care, but is a real softie that tries to spoil everyone, Yoi." Marco smirked, his gaze going to said little brother…that's snoring his head off.

Luffy sat on a strong part of the railing, Sanji leaned on the wall behind her, Luffy's shoulders were hunched, her expression on the water while the chefs started to clean up, to treat wounds.

"Hey Sanji…"

"Mmm?" Sanji hummed, he stared at the girl, maybe she hasn't seen a lot of dead bodies, maybe she has never killed someone before, and Luffy needs someone to lean on, to listen to her in a moment like this.

"I…" She took a breath, her arm wrapped around her stomach as it made a pained wheeze and when she turned her head to look at Sanji she gave him the most pitiful look that he has ever seen before. "I'm hungry."

"Alirght." Sanji sighed, turning around and going inside to cook up something for the girl to eat, he had a tray full of fish dishes, he had been about to push open the door to take the food out to the girl that had saved his life, had saved their lives, and had saved the restaurant.

"…you take Sanji with you." Zeff voice spoke through the wood, Sanji paused and shuffled over to the window to look out, and Luffy is still sitting on the railing while Zeff stood beside her. "He doesn't belong here anymore; there is nothing more I can teach him, there is nothing here for him, so can you take him out to see with him?"

"No." Luffy said bluntly, her gaze burning into Zeff's stare.

"Why not? Didn't you want him in your crew?"

"Of cause I want him in my crew, what kind of pirate captain wouldn't ask someone that can cook like him on their crew?" The girl questioned.

"Then what's the problem?"

"I won't force anyone to do anything that they don't want to do, I will not take Sanji until he is ready to leave." Zeff sighed heavily.

"Will you stay here until he says yes?"

"No I won't, I have things that I need to do, I don't have the time to wait for a 'yes, please let me join your crew,' plus I need to catch up with my crew, I have a feeling that they will need help." Luffy turned around and removed herself from the railing, a dark expression on her face. "If they need help, I will help them with all my power, because they are my nakama, and I won't lose them, so I can't wait."

"…You're a better pirate captain then I was." Zeff sighed; he ended up holding out a book. "This is my diary from my time in the Grandline."

"I don't need it, I've been in the Grandline before."

"So you're a runaway Grandline?"

"I didn't run away from the Grandline, I ran away from the nobles."

"Nobles? You…?" Zeff wondered, Luffy lifted up the right side of her shorts, letting him see the brand mark.

"Being a slave had been a blessing from what I had reserved from the Government."

"That is something that I never expected anyone to say." Thatch said… "Wait, wasn't she saved from the government facility?"

"Garp rescued her from the hands of the Government, but…he needed place for his son to collect her from." Shanks said, eyes narrowed angrily at the slave mark on her leg. "Garp sent inside information to Dragon, and Dragon raided the noble house and freed the slaves, while taking Luffy with him…as Garp requested of him."

"Garp turned her into a slave?" Some of the pirates questioned, knowing what kind of man the marine hero is.

"It had been to save her." Benn said. "If he didn't take her when he did then se would have been killed."

Sanji closed his eyes, and sorted out his thoughts, thinking about what the girl said, about what Zeff said and his choses.

With a sad smile he opened the door, the two turned to look at him, neither of them looked surprised about him appearing, they knew he had been standing there ears dropping.

"Here you go my dear!" Sanji swooned, giving the food over to Luffy, the two of them stared at him, both of them waited for him to say something about what he had overheard, but Luffy still grabbed the tray.

She slowly ate it…slow for her; Sanji lit up a new smoke and leaned on the railing, looking into the water, a school of purple silvery fish ended up swimming under the water, one of them did circles, Sanji smiled down at them fish as the vanished under the water.

"May I join you on your adventures?"

"Took your time."

The screen fuzzed out leaving everyone slightly disappointed that it's over, suddenly everyone turned to look at the Strawhat pirates.

"Sooo…whose next?"

"Me…" Chopper's cute little voice spoke up, his hand going up into the air, Chip stared at the little reindeer…

"I've never used this on an animal before, this is going to be interesting."

The Straw-hats are four years older but look like their two year time-skip selves.

Also, Luffy hasn't become king, well she has but the government doesn't want to acknowledge her as the new king so they are keeping it hush hush.

Annnnnd I'm sorry it took so long to post up this chapter.

Oh yeah! Brilliant Idea just now, I'm going to make it a sequel around Daight the Island of night and day, before Gol D. Luffia got captured by the Marines.

ALSO MERRY CHRISTMAS!
