It was very dark and quiet in the canyon Booster and Nida fell into. The two were lying on the cold hard ground, unconscious. Until one stirred. Nida groaned as she attempted to sit up. Her head hurt intensely, her vision blotted and blurry. She held it in her hands, the pounding only getting worse by sitting up. She tried to look up. She saw the blue sky right above her, but down here, it was dark and cold because the sun's rays didn't reach past the canyon walls, and there was only just barely enough light to see.

She looked to her left and her heart stopped when she saw Booster lying just a few inches away from her, his back turned, not moving. She crawled up to him, wobbling all the way. She could barely get to his other side, her foot was aching so much. She looked at it and cursed, seeing her leg was heavily wounded. She felt dizzy, and her whole body hurt and protested, but bit through it and kept on going.
When she had finally reached him, she studied him. If he's dead I'll kill him. She thought as she rested her head on his chest, listening for a heartbeat. To her relief, he still had a heartbeat, and it seemed to be strong too. Damn… this guy can take a lot of beating. Gotta give him credit for that. She scanned his body with her eyes and saw his suit was torn as well, and that he was bleeding heavily from some wounds on his arms, legs, and head.

How did he even get down here? She thought to herself as she looked back up the way they fell. I need to clean these wounds with some water. She reached for her water bundle around her waist, but she didn't feel it. She groaned and cursed aloud. Craters! I must've left it on Star Command! And of course, there's no water on this dump of a planet! Just then the sky above them grew darker, dark rain clouds in the sky. A crack of thunder boomed through the desert. She grinned to herself.
Perfect. Where there's rain, there's water. She started to feel her pockets. If only I had something to catch it up with… When she found nothing in her pockets, she sighed. Then she looked at Booster.
Sorry man, but I just need to check your pockets. She thought. Then she felt a rain droplet on her head. Better find us some shelter from the rain as well though, things won't be better if we catch a cold.
She looked around to see if she could find shelter. She saw a cave and stumbled to it, removing loose rocks that could possibly hurt Booster, and went back to him. Lifting his arms up, she attempted to drag him to the cave.

"Goddamn, this guy's heavy!" she puffed. She then tried to roll him like a barrel by pushing against his sides. It worked. Once inside and safe from the storm she jerked him up to place him with his back against the cave walls. "There…" she huffed, leaning against the walls, trying to catch her breath. When she felt she was ready to go again, she returned to her previous task. Finding a way to catch that rain.
She turned to Booster and patted him down. Finding a regular sized bottle in his left pocket she cocked an eyebrow as she studied it. Are Star Command's pockets that big enough to fit a whole bottle in there? She pondered. The bottle was empty. She screwed off the cap and placed it on the ground on the outside of the cave, where it had started to pour heavily from the sky.

She raised her hands above her head, and waved in a majestic manner with her arms above her, steering the water that fell down from the sky around her. It only took a minute, for it poured heavily. When she had a whole bubble she steered it gracefully into the bottle, completely filling it. With a satisfied smile, she took the bottle and limped into the cave to Booster's side.

First, she turned her attention to the wounds that bled the worst. "Now to clean those wounds…" she muttered as she sat down beside Booster. She ripped a piece of her shredded clothing and made it wet with a bit of water from the bottle, then gently pressed it upon the biggest wound and cleaned it. After a while, all the bleeding stopped and she bandaged it with more shreds.
If it keeps up like this I'll bloody end up naked! She thought bitterly while she continued to clean. For once she was happy she'd gotten extra first aid lessons from the Pods. The only fun thing was that she could practice on the grubs. Even funnier was they didn't like it at all. She smiled fondly at the memory.
After she was finally finished, she refilled the bottle with the water that kept pouring down, before going back in, shivering and her teeth chattering. She was soaked to the bone, but she didn't really care. She looked at Booster with a worried expression on her face. If only he would wake up… She settled down beside him, curling herself up as much as possible. She kept an eye on him before her fatigue finally took over, and fell asleep.

Booster was sleeping. He was in a deep sleep but suddenly woke up with a start. His body was aching all over as he tried to sit up. He was in the bunzelfield again. Only this wasn't the bunzelfield from before. The last one was blooming, bunzels growing on them, the sky was bright and blue… but this field was dry and withered, the sky dark and clouded. And his clothes weren't the same. He was dressed in his space suit but it was shredded and he was bleeding from cuts all over. Booster felt threatened. Incredibly threatened.
"Where am I…?" he muttered. Then he heard a giggle. A giggle he heard before and yet it was… different. He got to his feet and started walking slowly. His body hurt something awful and he was terrified, struggling not to burst into tears. He heard the giggle again. It sounded demonic. It terrified him even more.

He started to run, before ending up on the open ground in the middle of the bunzlefield where he was in that pleasant daydream earlier that day. Only this field was marred and dry. In the middle of the field, he saw her. Nida. Her beautiful dress was now shredded to pieces. Wounds on her arms and legs bleeding badly. Booster stopped in his tracks and looked mortified.

She turned to him, and he looked in horror at her face. Her eyes were milky white. There were no pupils at all. Blood trickled from her lips. The wound on her head from earlier was open, pus dripping from it, and maggots squirming inside it. He held his hand before his mouth, the urge to throw up intense.
Nida grinned a sick smile at him. Then she pointed at him and wiggled her finger tantalizingly slow for him to come closer to her. Booster shook his head furiously, taking steps backward. Nida's grin disappeared and turned into a furious glare. "Then run!" she screeched, she sprinted towards him with amazing speed.

He cried and spun around, making a sprint. He heard her screech from behind him, piercing through his ears. He kept running through the shriveled field, the bunzel plants slapping him in the face as he ran but he kept going.
Out of the blue, he heard her screech from right behind him and he felt a kick in his back. He stumbled with a cry of pain into the open ground again and landed on his back. Before he could crawl away she punched him in the face. He spat blood and felt her crawl atop of him, face hovering over his. She grinned viciously at him, her teeth bare, and covered with blue colored blood. To his horror, he saw she had thousands of sharp little teeth. Almost like Bathyos's sharks have, but so much more terrifying.

"You did this to me!" she spoke in the demonic voice. Booster started sobbing. "W-Why are you d-doing this…" he wept.

"What?" Nida looked mock confused. "You don't remember? Let me help you." Suddenly a jolt of memories before his eyes.

"I-I can't!" Her hand slipped and he heard her terrified scream pierce his ears once again. He screamed in horror. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

He screamed in pain and agony, tears streaming down his face. He tried to get free but she was inhumanly strong. She watched with glee how he suffered.

"Please… I beg you… Please stop!" Booster sobbed, looking desperately at her, tears streaming down his face. "S-Stop this… Please just STOP!" She only laughed at him, taking a lot of glee in his suffering. He squeezed his eyes shut before staring back up at her, his face retorted in a disgusted and furious glare. "You SICK BITCH!" he screamed. Nida stopped laughing and looked surprised for a moment. Then she looked fuming, balling her hand into a fist and punched him again. Booster coughed up more blood and couldn't stop weeping.

"How dare you to speak to me like that! You are the one who did this to me!" she screamed as she kept punching him. "You let me DIE!" Punch. "You are NOTHING!" Punch. "You are WEAK!" Punch.

"Stop…" Booster sobbed uncontrollably. "Please stop…"

Nida returned to grinning smugly and leaned down to him. "I'm not that awful… I will give you a kiss…" she grinned wickedly. Booster looked in terror at her, breathing erratically. "The kiss of DEATH!" Booster's eyes widened in horror as she opened her mouth wide, her bloody teeth bare, thousands of little fangs coming for him fast. Then her teeth sank into his neck, blood spurting everywhere.

Booster woke up with a start, his chest heaving as he took erratic breaths. He held his hands to his chest where his heart was beating like crazy. His vision was blurry and his head pounded like crazy. Holding his head in his hands and rocking himself back and forth slowly, he managed to calm himself.

He glanced around the dark cave, his eyes adjusting before his eyes fell onto the bandages Nida did. As he looked himself over he saw all the wounds were cleaned and semi-neatly wrapped in DIY bandages from torn fabric.

"Who could've…?" he asked aloud. He looked to his side and nearly shrieked when he saw Nida sleeping next to him, all huddled up against the wall. For a moment he saw Nightmare Nida and he nearly had a panic attack. Then he noticed her suit all ripped up and torn. Studying his arms, he concluded that she used the scraps of her suit to bandage him. He picked up the bottle next to him, the bottle still half full.
A soft smile appeared on his lips. She really took good care of me while I was out. He gazed at her sleeping form and let his eyes wander over all the cuts and bruises she obtained from the fall. He frowned, concerned.

Well… He thought to himself as he ripped off pieces off of his own suit as well. I'd better return the favor to her. After a while, he was all done with cleaning and bandaging her cuts, having ripped off his arm sleeves and most of the fabric covering his legs. He swiped the sweat from his head and yawned. He shivered from the cold and frowned as she did the same, her brows furrowing as she trembled in the cold.

He was unsure of what to do next. They sure needed warmth, but there wasn't anything around them to start a cozy fire with. He sighed, rubbing his neck, feeling awkward. There really was only one thing left to do to keep them both warm. He gently hooked one arm under her legs, and one under her back. Gently lifting her up he set her down on his lap, curling around her. He wrapped his arms around her protectively and he sat there for a while as he watched the pouring rain outside, listening to the thunder when suddenly he felt her stir. He looked down and was stunned when he saw her lips curl into a soft smile as she snuggled into him.
A bright red blush formed on his cheeks, and couldn't help a goofy grin.
"Sweet dreams, Nida." He whispered to her. She hummed and babbled something inaudible and he chuckled quietly. He rested his head against the wall, feeling exhausted. "I sure do hope they'll be much calmer than mine was…" he yawned before his eyes fell closed, and he drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
