"Watch out!" Usopp shouted as he fell from the crow's nest, arms flailing in a desperate attempt to slow his descent.
A resounding crash echoed from the point of impact on the deck, Usopp's flying efforts having been in vain. "Ow..." Usopp muttered, holding one hand to the sizeable lump that had begun to swell on his head.
Dazedly, he set his hand down and noticed that the deck seemed especially soft. "I think I landed on somethin-"
Suddenly, an icy chill went up his spine as he felt someone glaring at him with murderous intent.
"Usopp," he heard Sanji walking up to him from behind. "Get. Off. Of. Nami-swan."
"Eh?! Eh?!" Usopp looked downwards and saw that the soft thing he had mistaken for the deck was actually...Nami's chest.
He froze in panic for a second, then surprisingly noticed Nami blushing in shock at him rather than immediately yelling at him for his blunder. Instantly, he turned bright red and jumped up as Sanji closed in for the kill.
"I-I-I WASN'T TRYING TO DO ANYTHING!" he exclaimed, running away from Sanji, who had begun chasing him. "THAT GREEN GORILLA KNOCKED ME OUT OF THE CROW'S NEST-"
"You were in my way." A distant reply interjected.
"-AND I FELL DOWN!"
"NO. DINNER. FOR. YOU. TONIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!" Sanji yelled, his eyes aflame as he proceeded to kick Usopp all over the Sunny's deck.
Sanji was true to his word: during dinnertime Usopp found himself being forcibly ejected from the galley, his protests ignored as Sanji shut the door behind him.
"I'm so hungryyy." Usopp moaned, leaning on the railing some time after the rest of the crew had gleefully eaten their fill of the night's dinner.
"Here."
Usopp turned his head towards the sound as Robin appeared from behind, setting a plate full of steaming food on the railing.
"Thank you, Robin!" Usopp cried gratefully, voraciously digging into the food in an almost indecent manner.
"So, about earlier-" Robin began.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! I DIDN'T MEAN TO-..." Usopp shouted as his face flushed once again, spewing food flecks as he did so.
"My, what on earth are you thinking about?" Robin tittered as she turned to leave. "I was just going to ask if your injuries were better."
As she made her way to the girl's bedroom, she remarked, "If you were thinking such thoughts, then I wonder..."
For a few seconds after Robin had entered the room, Usopp stared wordlessly at the closed wooden door. "That Robin, what is she thinking..." he muttered to himself, turning back to his half-eaten meal.
Later that night, everyone seemed to be fast asleep in their beds as the moon rose higher in the deep black sky, but a lone silhouette belied appearances.
The soft click of the bedroom door opening a crack quickly awoke Robin from her slumber. As she lay still, a whisper of "Nami," passed through the room until Nami began to stir. "What?" Came her murmured reply. "C-can you come out here for a second?" Usopp whispered, his voice laced with urgency and a hint of nerves. "All right." Nami obliged, climbing out of her bed and shutting the door behind her.
Smiling softly, Robin closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep once again.
