I was given some prompts onto my James Potter account and people seemed to like them so I thought I'd upload them here. They are just a few short jily one shots really. If you want to give me a prompt just leave one in reviews :D Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!

Prompt: First kiss with Lily?

Lily walked into Gryffindor Common room in a mood. She'd spent the entire day trekking around the school picking up after the mess the Marauders had left in their tow. They had gone on a rampage of pranks aswell as setting off Peeves on a little adventure of mayhem too and she was beyond fed up.

It irritated her even more when she saw James Potter sitting in her chair in the common room. She stormed up over to him, watching him laughing and joking with his fellow marauders. "That is my chair Potter!" She hissed at him, her eyes flashing with anger. James looked up at her in mild surprise.

She looked a little more frazzled then usual. Her red hair sticking out in places instead of being the usual neat, sleek style. He looked at her before grinning up at her. "What's up Lils?" He asked, completely ignoring her previous statement.

She huffed and turned on her heel ready to march away to her room to get some much needed relaxation. She just needed some time for herself, away from everyone. She was a step away when a strong arm suddenly snaked around her waist and pulled her backwards.

James had stood up from his seat, a slightly nervous but bold look in his expression. Sirius and Remus watched the two intently as James stared down into Lily's emerald green eyes, while she stared back into his hazel ones.

The two stood still for a moment, not moving or speaking, just staring into one anothers eyes. They were locked in a moment more powerful then time itself.

James leant forward closing the small gap between the two and brushed his lips across her own. She muffled a protest before melting into his arms and deepening the kiss. Her arms snaked up his back and twisted into his messy hair as she rose onto her tip toes, trying to push herself into him further as he did the same back, his arms rubbing down her back softly.

The two kissed each other passionately, showing no sign of stopping when they heard the rather familiar sound of someone clearing their throat. The two broke apart rapidly, blushing furiously as they looked up at the head of their house.

"Enjoying yourselves are we?" Professor McGonagal said an amuzed smirk forming on her face. The two shifted uncomfortably next to each other as Sirius sniggered in the background.

James looked over at Lily sheepishly before grinning and Lily offered him a warm smile back.

She was beginning to think it hadn't been such a bad day after all, and James couldn't agree more.
