Pairing: SasoSaku
Rating: T (Maybe M for some adult situations but nothing extreme at all.)
Summary: Sakura had become friends with most of the members of the Akatsuki, except for Sasori. And she is determined to find out why.
After spending four months in the Akatsuki working as their medic, Sakura had met and made friends with almost every member, except for Leader of course, Kakuzu who didn't particularly like anyone but could tolerate her, and Sasori.
Sasori.
Sakura didn't know the reason why he didn't like her. Deidara had told her that he was over their fight and didn't hold any malice against her for defeating him. So what else could she have possibly done to make him dislike her so much? Okay, well she wasn't certain that he didn't like her so much as that he was avoiding her. She remembered the first, and only, time that he had ever come to her office.
He had been in battle with a group of Iwa nin who saw his profile in the Bingo Book and believed they could capture him. There were at least twenty of them, according to him, some of which could create clones who were about as strong as they were. So in total there were about 40-50 ninjas and clones he had to fight, and since Sakura had destroyed many of his puppets and he had yet to rebuild his large collection, the battle was a bit of a challenge for him. Especially with his new human body, which was susceptible to pain and internal damage.
Sasori had won the battle, but returned with a broken rib, a punctured lung, and a deep gash in his femoral artery. Of course, he had tried to refuse medical care so Sakura had Kisame restrain him as she strapped him to the bed. After the struggle he had with Kisame and all the blood he'd lost, he had nothing left in him and slipped from consciousness. Sakura spend sixteen hours healing him up and using up all of her chakra, eventually passing out leaning against the bed.
That next morning she was woken up by Sasori angrily breaking free from his restraints and nearly leaping out of the hospital bed. She protested and told him he needed to stay and rest for a day, but he ignored her and stormed out of her office.
Many times after that day, Sakura would notice him leaving rooms when she would enter, taking detours in the hallways when he saw her walking in his direction, even coming to dinner early as to finish before she could even get there. Sometimes he would even skip meals if he couldn't manage to get there early enough. He was obviously avoiding her and she wanted to know why.
Many members were of no help, claiming that they hadn't noticed him doing any of the things she said and that it was all in her imagination. She could tell they were all hiding something, covering for him. Deidara was a very bad liar and had the habit of picking off his fingernail polish when telling a lie, However she couldn't seem to break him, so she went to the one member she knew wouldn't lie to her.
"Tobi!" Sakura called after the bubbly young ninja, seeing him skip down the hall in front of her. He almost fell over as he stopped to turn and face her.
"Sakura-chan~!" Tobi sang, "Is there something Tobi can do for you?"
"Well, yes. I want you to tell me the absolute truth when I ask you this question, okay Tobi? Can you promise me that?"
"Of course! Anything for Sakura-chan!"
Sakura paused and took a deep breath before asking.
"You've noticed that Sasori is avoiding me, haven't you?"
Tobi looked startled and his visible eye darted around nervously. He gulped.
"Um, well... Tobi has to say... Well, that is... Can you ask a different question, Sakura-chan?"
"You've obviously noticed it. You told me you'd tell me the truth, Tobi-kun." Sakura faked a pout and a sad tone.
"Oh no, Sakura-chan! Please don't be sad!" Tobi panicked. "Okay okay! Sasori-sempai has been avoiding you..."
"Can you tell me why, Tobi?"
"Well... Sasori-sempai won't tell any of us why... He just tells us to pretend like we haven't noticed, so you don't go bugging him."
Sakura was seething. She wouldn't have been surprised if she started breathing fire. Tobi began to panic again.
"Tobi hopes he didn't make Sakura-chan too mad! Please forgive Tobi!" But Sakura ignored his distress and stomped past him, down the hall to Sasori's room. Every step she took left a size 7 foot-sized crater in the floor. Any other member who walked past her pressed themselves against the wall to avoid the kunoichi's rage.
When she got to Sasori's room, Sakura knocked on the door so hard that the wood cracked and splintered under her fist. Sasori ripped the door open in a rage, ready to attack whoever had knocked on his door in such a violent and rude way, but when he saw it was Sakura standing in front of him he tried to slam the door in her face. Sakura shoved her fist through the door, leaving a large hole there, and grabbed hold of his arm before he could just turn away.
"Don't. You. Fucking. Dare." She ground out. "You either let me the fuck in or your door is ripped clean off its hinges."
Sasori thought about it for a moment and Sakura tightened her chakra-enforced grip on his arm. He hesitantly opened the door, all the while still keeping his annoyed expression glued to his face. "What do you want?" He hissed at her. Sakura shoved past him and slammed the door hard behind her, most likely splintering it more.
"I want to know why the fuck you've been avoiding me, you doll-obsessed fucker."
Now it was Sasori's turn to be pissed off. It was times like these where he really missed the poisoned coil in his stomach and the flamethrowers in his hands.
"Maybe I can't fucking stand being around you, you ugly pink-haired bitch."
Sakura punched him straight in the jaw, sending him hurdling back into the wall behind him. He shakily stood up. "You broke my fucking jaw!" He ground out, except the accusation came out slurred and a bit difficult to understand. Sakura realized that he wouldn't be able to explain himself with a completely broken jaw, so she healed him just enough that his jaw was functioning but left the amount of pain he deserved.
"I have done nothing to you! If fucking Kakuzu can tolerate me you should be able to too." Sasori went to speak, but Sakura squeezed his jaw, causing him to groan in pain and shut up. "Don't even tell me it's because of our battle. Deidara already told me you were over that. So you had better fucking tell me right now, puppet-boy, what the fuck did I do?!" She was nearly screaming by the end of her sentence, and Sasori stood up, readjusting his sore jaw.
"Who told you?" He roared. Sakura clenched her fists.
"It doesn't matter who told me, or if anyone even told me at all. I want to know. And either you tell me or I rip your fucking dick off."
"It's none of your goddamn business, little girl." He sneered, but he sounded slightly less enraged at this point. Sakura, however, was still ripshit.
"It is completely my business, since it's about me." She growled lowly, clenching her fist, ready to hit him again.
Sasori took a step towards her, ignoring her angry fist. "Are you really sure you want to know?" He asked, his already deep voice an octave lower.
"Are you fucking stupid? Of course I want to-" Sakura was cut off when Sasori shoved her into a wall, holding her fists above her head with chakra strings and pinning them there with his hands. She shrieked. "Get the fuck off of me!"
"You said you wanted to know, and I will tell you. But first you need to shut the fuck up." Sasori waited for a moment to see if she would try to speak or put up a fight, but she kept her mouth shut and stared up at him with fiery eyes.
"Back when I fought you with my dear old granny, you were only 16 I believe," Sasori paused to see if she would correct him, but she didn't so he continued. "You were a pretty young girl, but so naïve. I thought you couldn't possibly make it in the ninja world, seeing as you only defeated me with the help of my grandmother. So when I heard that Leader had been showing an interest in you, I imagined the young naïve girl I fought five years ago.
"But when you came here, I saw how much you had grown. You had developed-" He paused at this moment to skim his deep amber eyes over her body. "-quite nicely. You were no longer the young naïve girl I once fought. You had grown up, grew hardened and strong. You could hold your own against Itachi and Kisame. You grew out of your pretty, awkward faze and into a beautiful kunoichi." Sasori pressed his body harder against hers. "I wanted you.
A deep blush spread over Sakura's face as she listened to his sultry voice and felt his chiseled body against hers. "But if you want me, why-" Sasori tightened his grip on her wrists.
"I told you to shut up, Sakura." The way he purred her name caused a fire to spread throughout her body. "...I avoided you because I wanted you. I knew it would be a bad idea to take you, to do what I wanted with you. And I knew if I were around you I wouldn't be able to help myself. So I made it my goal to stay away." Sasori's face got closer to hers, their noses now touching. "But now, I have you all to myself..."
He crashed his lips against hers, causing Sakura's eyes to fly open. She didn't know if she should fight back or kiss back. But the way he was kissing her made her knees weak and her body hot.
She kissed him back with just as much passion and urgency as he was showing her. She felt him smirk against her mouth and he languidly ran his tongue across her lips. She smirked back and let her tongue touch his, causing an immediate spark. Their kissing became more passionate and intense, and Sasori let her hands go. They immediately went into his hair while his hands went to her hips, pulling her body closer to his and gripping her bruisingly hard.
The pair were starting to pull away when they heard cat-calls. Sakura and Sasori slowly turned towards the door, at the pair of violet eyes staring at them through the hole Sakura had made in Sasori's door.
"That was fuckin' hot, seriously! Do I get a turn next?"
From behind Hidan came another voice.
"Yeah, go Sasori-danna! Un."
Sakura and Sasori looked back at each other, arms still wrapped around each other, both looking quite annoyed.
"I blame you for this."
"Yeah, I blame myself too."
I know this one had a different vibe to it than my DeiSaku, but I just felt that Deidara would have a more innocent and clueless vibe and Sasori seems a bit more dark and sultry.
Anyways, I would like some feedback, and look forward to the next chapter I'm working on.
