Two months had passed and everything had settled down, everyone put Claire and everything that had happened behind them never to be mentioned again. Two days ago Andy and Sam had finally moved the last load from Danny's to their brand new house and had just about unpacked. JJ was fascinated by the size of his new room and the fact Alisha was still here.

Sam rolled on his side and scooted closer to Andy and slid his hands under the covers, running them up her legs and under her shirt he pulled her closer and kissed her neck.

"Babe," Andy mumbled sleepily "you know this isn't gonna happen-not yet."

Sam groaned and tightened his grip on her "doctor said you were fine two weeks ago."

"I know but I'm not ready," she said and rolled to face him "I'm sorry I know you're frustrated but…" she trailed off.

Sam sighed "you don't have to explain," he said and kissed her quickly "you're ready when you're ready," he said and lay back.

"It's not that I don't want to," she said "I just…I never had it with JJ, I didn't have sex for months after he was born so I'm kinda scared I don't know what to expect."

Sam sighed again he hated making her feel bad "it's fine Andy I get it," he said and pulled her onto his chest "there's no rush."

"I know but I hate making you wait," she sighed.

Sam lowered his head and kissed her "don't worry about me."

Andy snuggled into him "when are we gonna get married?" she asked.

Sam shrugged under her "whenever you want babe."

Lifting her head she rolled onto her stomach and leaned up on her elbows "how about we go to city hall and see what date they have available next?" she asked.

Sam looked back at her surprised he figured she'd want the dream wedding that would take months to plan and save for "city hall?" he asked.

Andy nodded "no point wasting money on one day when we have two kids to feed and a mortgage to pay."

Sam nodded in agreement "true, but we can make it happen if you really wanted it," he said.

"I don't care Sam," she said "as long as we're both happy I don't care where we get married," she smiled and kissed him "unless you don't want city hall then I could wait too," she added.

Sam smiled she really was amazing "nah," he said pulling her closer "I don't wanna wait," he said and kissed her deeply. "We'll head down to city hall later…do you want to bring the kids?" he asked.

Andy shook her head "I haven't thought about who I want as witnesses and JJ will just blab, I'll see what Chloe and Danny are doing today."

Sam nodded "how about Chloe and Danny for witnesses?" he asked.

"Well I was gonna pick Chloe or Traci, so I'd figured you'd wanna pick one too."

Sam leaned in and kissed her "alright, Jerry…Danny and Chloe for godparents."

Andy smiled and nodded "godparents," she said and snuggled into him.

A while later they were walking up Danny's driveway with JJ and Alisha, Andy pushed the door in and walked inside "hello!" she called.

"Kitchen!" Chloe called back.

Andy and Sam walked to the kitchen "what you do?" Sam chuckled "run over here as soon as Andy called?"

"Ha ha," she said sarcastically "I stayed here last night," she added and took JJ from him "hey buddy," she smiled "you gonna spend a few hours with me and Danny?" she said and sat back down "where are you two off to?" she asked.

"Just to sort out the last of the paperwork on the house," Andy said "we'll be an hour tops…where's Danny?" she asked.

"Here," he yawned walking in behind them.

"Rough night?" Sam chuckled.

"This one is a bad influence," Danny said poking Chloe.

"I am not!" she squealed "you took out the vodka not me."

"Yeah to mix it with something not drink straight," Danny chuckled and took Alisha from Andy "hey cutie," he smiled looking down on her "you guys take your time there's no rush back."

"Alright see ya soon," Sam and went to walk

"Danny," Andy warned "you are not to take her to the park and Chloe, make sure he doesn't get any girls numbers if you do alright?" she asked turning to Chloe "he picks up the crazies there," she giggled.

Chloe giggled "if that happens I'll pretend he's my boyfriend," she said chuckling at the look on his face.

"That's disgusting," he said and sat down "and I learned my lesson the last time so we're good," he chuckled.

Andy chuckled "alright then…see ya later!" she called as she walked through the house.

When the arrived Andy stopped on the step and tugged Sam back to her "before we walk through this door I want to be sure you want this Sam and not just because you want me to be happy."

Sam stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist "there's no one I'd rather go through that door with babe, so if you don't wanna do this we'll turn around now and head for lunch, but I'm here with you right now because I want nothing more than for you to be my wife," he smiled.

Andy smiled back "and I want nothing more than to be your wife," she said and kissed him "let's go get married…or set a date for it," she giggled and slid her hand back into his.

Sam led her inside and up to the desk "hi," he smiled at the woman behind it "we'd like to know what dates you have available for weddings…the closest date," he added and smiled at Andy.

The woman smiled at them and tapped on her computer "Friday?" she asked and looked over at them.

Sam squeezed Andy's hand "we'll take it."

The woman smiled and handed them out a form "I'll need you both to fill out one of these and drop it back…I'll need your name for the booking."

"Andy McNally and Sam Swarek," Andy said trying to contain her excitement.

Sam chuckled and picked up the forms "we'll drop these back,…thanks," he said and led Andy away.

"Four days Sam!" she said excitedly "we're getting married in four days!" she yelled and skipped ahead of him.

Sam chuckled and watched her go he loved seeing her so happy, shaking his head he started to walk again.

When they arrived back at Danny's they found the house empty "wonder where they've taken them," Andy said as they walked back to the truck.

"Call him and find out," Sam said as they pulled away "I wanna go see Jerry," he added.

Andy nodded and pulled out her phone "I wanna go see Traci," she said and dialled Chloe's number "hey…where are you guys?" she asked "alright," she chuckled "we're back now so call us when you're ready and we'll pick them up, okay, bye," she said and hung up "they're over at my dad's they just got there."

Sam nodded "do you want me to drop you over there?" he asked as they headed for fifteen.

"No," she replied "I wanna see Trac first then we can go see them all together and tell them about the wedding," she smiled.

Sam slid his hand across the console and into hers "the other will be disappointed that they won't be there," he said.

"I know," Andy nodded "that's why I was thinking we'd set up a dinner after it-just for close friends and family," she added.

Sam nodded "sure, that sounds great," he said as they pulled into the station.

"Will we ask Traci and Jerry together?" Andy asked as they walked inside.

Sam nodded "they'll be in the same room anyway," he said as they walked to the D's office "hey buddy!" he yelled startling Jerry who was buried in paperwork.

"Sammy you ass," Jerry sighed "what can I do for you on your day off?" he asked.

"Where's Trac?" Andy asked.

"Break room," Jerry replied

Andy nodded and looked at Sam "you ask him I'll ask Trac," she said and walked off.

"Ask me what?" Jerry asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well buddy," Sam smiled and sat on the edge of his desk "Andy and I are getting married on Friday and we would like to know if you'd like to be a witness?" he asked.

Jerry stood up "wow," he chuckled "never thought I'd see the day, congrats man," he said and hugged him "and yes I'd be honoured," he said and clapped his back "so city hall?" he asked and sat back down "didn't Andy want the big fancy thing?"

"No she's the one that brought up city hall and I'm more than happy to go for that," Sam smiled "as long as it happens."

"Oh it'll happen alright," Jerry said "I'm gonna make sure it's a day to remember."

….

"Friday!" Traci yelled in shock.

Andy nodded fighting a grin "we've filled out the forms and all we just have to drop them back…so will you?" she asked.

"Andy oh my god of course," she said and pulled her into a hug "congratulations, wow, I can't believe you're getting married."

"I know it's crazy," Andy giggled "we were talking about it this morning then boom we're there getting the forms."

"Aww Andy I'm so happy for you," Traci said and hugged her again "what are you gonna wear?" she asked.

Andy shrugged "I saw this gorgeous dress in town last week, figured you could come with me tomorrow after you dropped Leo to school and help me get it sorted."

Traci nodded "and you can help me get something to wear."

"On me of course," Andy smiled.

"No no don't be silly," Traci said "I'll pay for my own."

"Trac you're my bridesmaid/witness let me buy your damn dress," Andy giggled as they walked back to the D's office.

"Okay," Traci chuckled "but lunch is on me then," she added.

"Can't argue with that," Andy giggled "Jerry!" she squealed when he lifted her off the ground and swung her around.

"What happens when I'm happy," he chuckled and dropped her to her feet "congrats Andy," he said and hugged her.

"Thanks," she giggled "so you're coming?" she asked

Jerry scoffed "what kind of best man would I be if I didn't?" he chuckled.

Andy walked to Sam and leaned into him "thanks you guys it really means a lot to us."

"It means a lot you asked," Traci sniffed "I can't believe you're getting married."

"Don't cry Nash your day will come soon," Sam chuckled.

Jerry chuckled "and you will be there to return the favour…lunch anyone?" he asked "feel like celebrating."

"I'm in," Sam said and stood up.

"Yeah we have time," Andy added as they walked out of the office "and guys please don't tell the others, we want them to hear it from us…since they won't be at it," she added.

"Our lips are sealed McNally," Jerry said as they walked outside.

"Andy?" Traci asked turning back to her "why didn't you guys ask Chloe and Danny?"

"Because we wanted you two," Sam answered "and we want them to be Alisha's godparents so it was only fair."

Traci nodded "I can live with that…see ya at the diner," she said and climbed into Jerry's car.

"You happy babe?" Sam asked as they walked to the truck.

"Almost," she replied "there's one more thing left to do," she said and climbed in.

"If you're worried about what your dad and Danny will say don't," he said "they're gonna be happy for us."

"I'm not worried about them," she said and slid her hand into us "I wanna change JJ's name to Swarek-officially."

Sam smiled and pulled out of the station "we'll head down after lunch and drop the forms off too."

Later that evening Sam and Andy entered their own home with the two kids "well that went well," Sam said as he carried a sleeping JJ up to his room.

"Can you believe my dad?" Andy chuckled as she carried Alisha to her crib.

Sam walked to their room and pulled off his coat "we sprung it on him he thought we were just doing it for a cheap wedding."

"We are doing it for a cheap wedding," she giggled and pulled off her own coat "that and I can't wait to marry you," she said sliding onto his lap.

Sam leaned in and kissed her "I can't wait to marry you babe," he said and cupped her cheek "I got everything I want right under this roof, nothing will ever be better than that."

"I love you," Andy said quietly ad wrapped her arms around him "I know we've been through hell and back and you've put up with a lot from me and we-"

"We made it through all that," Sam said pulling her closer "all that is behind us-everything bad is behind us, it's you me and the kids that's all that matters."

"The Swarek's," she giggled.

"All four of us," Sam said and kissed her.

"Do you think it'll be long before they send out JJ's new birth cert and stuff?" she asked.

"She said four to five working days so we should have it in the mail by Monday," he said and lay back with her on top of him "how about we just get take out tonight, we've had a busy day."

Andy nodded and rolled off him "Chinese or pizza?" she asked.

"You pick," Sam said and sat up "maybe we could watch a movie too," he suggested.

"Chinese it is," Andy said and pulled out her phone "I'll call it in you pick the movie," she said and walked out of the room.

A few minutes later Sam dropped down on the sofa beside her "just checking on the kids," he said and pulled her into him.

"I love this," Andy said a few minutes later and tilted her head "I love snuggling up on the sofa with you."

Sam smiled down on her "best part of me coming home when you're off," he said and kissed her quickly "I get to lie here with you close to me and do nothing."

Andy lay back on his chest "do you want more kids?" she asked.

"Andy you've just had a baby you can't possibly be thinking about another one," he said.

"I'm not," she giggled "I'm just asking would you?"

"Well seeing as JJ is such an awesome kid and Alisha is as good as gold so far I say yeah, I wouldn't mind another one…in a few years, what about you?" he asked.

Andy nodded against him "maybe in a few years," she said and pulled herself up off him when the buzzer went "foods here that was quick," she said and stood up.

After they had eaten Andy leaned back into the sofa "I feel like puking," she giggled.

Sam chuckled and placed his plate on top of hers "so you're not ready for bed yet?" he asked and stood up "fancy a beer?" he asked.

Andy nodded she was yet to have a drink since she found out about Alisha "why am I only remembering drink now?" she giggled and followed him to the kitchen with the dishes.

Sam chuckled and took them from her "you go relax babe I'll clean up in here and we can watch something else if you want."

"Aww," she cooed "aren't you just brilliant…why you being so nice?" she asked suspiciously.

"Do I have to have a reason to look after my beautiful wife to be?" he asked and kissed her quickly. "I'm not up to anything, I'm not looking for anything and I haven't done anything now go sit down," he said and kissed her again.

Andy giggled and grabbed two beers "we're watching Alice in wonderland-the one with Johnny Depp because he is so gorgeous and awesome!" she called back.

"Why don't you marry him then?" Sam called in.

Andy stuck her head back in "because you're more gorgeous and awesome than him," she smiled quickly and was gone again.

Sam chuckled and turned on the dishwasher walking to the living room he dropped down beside her "so if he came in here now and told you he loved you and he wanted you to go with him who would you pick?"

Andy turned to face him "you," she said right away "always you…what about you-minus Johnny Depp and add Megan Fox?"

"Oh defiantly Megan Fox," he chuckled and move back as she tried to slap him "I'm kidding babe," he said and grabbed her pulling her to him. "She could offer me all the money in the world and I'd tell her I was happy right here."

Andy leaned in a kissed him "we must be so in love if even our celebrity crushes can't pull us away."

"We are," Sam nodded "I love you more than I love anything else in the world-the kids are part of you of course," he added.

"Nice save," she giggled and pulled him down on the sofa with her "but you gotta admit this is the best part of the night just me and you alone not having to share with anyone else-just us."

"You said it," he chuckled and kissed her slowly.

As his hand drifted to her stomach she pulled back "Sam I can't," she panted "I'm sorry I can't."

Sam sighed and pulled himself up off her "how about we just have an early night then," he said and stood up.

Andy could tell he was getting real pissed off at being shot down again "Sam I'm sorry I just-"

"Don't worry about it…I'll see you upstairs," he said and walked up them.

Andy watched him go and sighed how the hell did she overcome the stupid thoughts in her head that wouldn't allow him to touch her the way she wanted him to?

The next morning it was Andy that rolled over and moved closer to Sam, running her hands up his chest she planted kisses up along his neck.

"Andy," he groaned and rolled onto his back sleepily throwing an arm around her.

"I've been thinking," she said and nipped at his neck.

"Of what?" he asked opening one eye "how to drive me insane?" he asked and stilled her hands as they travelled down his chest.

"No," she said and moved to his lips "about how much I want you," she murmured and kissed him slowly.

Sam didn't want to think too much of this so he decided to let her go at her own pace and see what she did next. As she deepened the kiss he slid his hand up her back and into her hair, he pulled back and opened his eyes when she climbed on top of him "you sure you're ready for this?" he asked even though his brain was screaming at him to shut the hell up!

Andy nodded and moved back a little bit so she was on his crotch "I want you to touch me like you used to, I want you to make me feel what I used to," she said and pushed against him.

Sam let out a moan and leaned up to pulled her down, kissing her slowly he rolled her and climbed on top of her pulling back he moved to her neck and pushed against her "babe," he groaned and did it again this time harder-he was testing her.

"Sam!" she gasped and gripped him tighter she couldn't believe she held of for this long. As he slid his hand down her sides she bit on her lip, without actually doing much he'd already made her feel like she wanted him to.

He hooked his thumbs in each side of her underwear and slowly pulled them down, getting rid of his own boxers he settled himself again both their moans muffled by the other as he eased into her. Pulling back he looked down on her "you okay babe?" he asked.

"Yeah," she smiled "never been better," she said and pulled him back down to her.

Afterwards they both lay panting side by side "wow," she sighed happily and rolled on her side "I have missed that so much."

Sam pulled her into him and kissed her shoulder "I'm surprised you didn't wake the block never mind the kids," he chuckled.

Andy giggled and slapped his chest "it was you too."

He lowered his head and kissed her "was it as bad as you thought it was gonna be?" he asked.

"I think my vocal sounds answer that," she said and looked up at him "I'm sorry I made you wait so long."

Sam kissed her again "don't be sorry, I wasn't gonna make you do something you didn't want to. I understand why you were scared and I was happy to wait."

Andy kissed him quickly "repeat tonight," she giggled and rolled out of the bed.

"Where are you going?" Sam asked as she walked to the bathroom.

"Gonna go meet Traci and get my dress for Friday," she said and closed the door.

"Andy that is gorgeous," Traci gasped as Andy came out of the dressing room.

"You think?" Andy asked nervously and walked to the mirror "I was thinking you could pull my hair to the side and curl it…what you think?" she asked.

Traci nodded and walked to her "you look beautiful Andy and yes I can do that in your hair, it will be so nice falling down over your shoulder."

Andy nodded "thanks Trac," she smiled "now all I need are shoes and underwear," she giggled.

"So the wedding night is the night huh?" she asked.

"Um no," Andy said slowly "I just felt so bad whenever I brushed him off, last night I could tell he was really annoyed but he didn't say anything, he didn't act any different with me and he still pulled me into him when we went to bed. This morning I kinda jumped him," she chuckled.

"Slut," Traci giggled she'd known all about the sex thing since Andy asked her advice on how long to wait "I bet he thought he was dreaming," she added.

"Trac he was so sweet," Andy said and walked back to her dressing room "he even asked me a few times was okay or was he hurting me."

"Aww that is sweet," Traci said and checked on Alisha and JJ "you'd thing after him waiting a few weeks he'd just jump right into it."

"But he didn't," Andy said coming out dressed in her jeans with her dress on the hanger "he was so soft and gentle I actually couldn't believe he could be so sweet."

Traci chuckled "ask him to pass on his tips to Jerry," she chuckled and patted her stomach I don't know how long he's gonna last," she added

Andy giggled and patted her small bump "how's baba treating mommy?" she asked as they each took a stroller and went to the counter.

"Good, I've stopped throwing up but now the back pain is settling in."

"I can't believe you're almost six months," Andy said "feels like only yesterday I you told me."

"I know, it's flying in-Jerry has the nursery finished he wants to do Leo's room too so he doesn't feel left out," Traci said.

"Aww Isn't that great," Andy smiled "and has Dex anything else to say about you being pregnant?"

Traci rolled her eyes "the usual, I barely have time for Leo as it is how am I gonna look after a new baby and blah blah blah," she said as they walked outside.

"He's an ass," Andy said shaking her head "I think he's just jealous because you chose Jerry."

"He is," Traci nodded "lets get you sorted so we can eat I'm starved," she said and pushed Alisha towards the lingerie store.

A while later they both pulled into Andy's and climbed out, JJ was awake by now so Andy let him walk inside while she carried the bags and Traci carried Alisha. Walking to the kitchen she stopped "hey," she said wide eyed "what are you doing here?" she asked.

Sam looked up from the paper I was reading I live here," he chuckled I was on my break and thought you'd be home by now."

Traci squeezed by her and put Alisha on the counter beside him "bathroom," she said and took Andy's bags from her.

Andy walked to him and kissed him quickly "do you want me to make you something to eat?"

"No thanks babe I've already eaten," he replied and stroked Alisha's cheek "did you get everything you needed?" he asked.

Andy nodded "all but JJ's shoes-they said they'll be in on Thursday."

"Great," he nodded "did Traci get her dress?"

"Yeah," Andy replied and sat beside him "and you and Jerry are going to get your suits tomorrow?" she asked.

Sam nodded "yep, we both finish at two they're expecting us for three."

Andy nodded "this wedding is really coming together nicely-oh, I booked the restaurant for dinner is Sarah still bringing the kids?" she asked.

"Yeah," Sam said and stood up "she wants to drop in and see you before you go is that okay with you?"

Sure," Andy replied I'd love to see her before it."

"Great," he smiled and kissed her "I gotta get back love ya," he said and moved to Alisha "you too princess," he said and kissed her too "JJ inside?" he asked.

Andy nodded "turtles are on," she giggled

Sam chuckled "see ya later," he said and walked into JJ before slipping out the front door.

Traci walked in and sat beside her "I put our dresses and your underwear under the clothes in your wardrobe, I left JJ and Alisha's out in case you wanted to show him later."

"Thanks Trac that was so close," Andy said and stood up "I didn't know he was gonna be here," she said as she poured them coffee.

"Guessed that," she chuckled "here, I was thinking, I know you just want a normal day but there has to be some tradition there right?"

"Okay," Andy said "what have you got in mind?" she asked.

"How about I stay here the night before and Sam can stay with Jerry and Leo-he can take JJ too if he wants. We'll make it a girls night and send the girls home early…what do ya say?" she asked.

Andy nodded "but just the close girls and one bottle of wine I don't wanna go mad."

"Me, you, Sarah, Chloe, Gail, Noelle, Sue and Zoe-one bottle and bed early."

"Then yes," Andy giggled.

Later that night Sam arrived home and yawned as he walked into the house "babe?" he called and followed the lights. When he got to the sofa he smiled Andy had JJ tucked into her side sound asleep while Alisha sat in her arms drinking a bottle "hey," he whispered and sat on the table across from her "I called you," he added.

"Hey," she said tiredly "sorry I didn't hear you," she said and adjusted Alisha in her arms.

"What's wrong babe?" Sam asked rubbing her knee she looked exhausted.

Andy sighed "JJ screamed for best part of two hours nothing would calm him, he said his ears were hurting him. I got him stuff in the pharmacy and he settled down, then Alisha started and cried for about three hours…I'm just drained."

"Babe," he said and stood up "you should have called me," he said taking Alisha from her "you go have bath or go to bed I'll look after them."

"Thanks," she sighed "but I haven't even made a start on dinner and there's clothes there I didn't get a chance to put away."

"No," Sam said "don't worry about the clothes or dinner you go have some time to yourself, I'll get these to bed and call you when dinner is ready."

"Sam you're out working all day I can't expect you to come home and cook when I'm here most of the day," she said and stood up "you just relax I'll sort everything," she said and went to take Alisha from him.

"Andy I'll tie you to the bed you know I will," he said stroked her cheek "you had a rough day you look exhausted, leave everything to me and you relax for a while."

Andy sighed she knew she wasn't gonna win "thank you," she said and kissed him "…just check I don't fall asleep in the bath-love you!" she called as she made her way upstairs.

"Love you too!" he called after and looked down on JJ, placing Alisha in her chair he scooped JJ up and carried him up to his room. After doing the same with Alisha he walked to the bathroom to check in on Andy "you okay babe?" he asked sticking his head in the door.

"Yeah," she replied "little more lively…wanna join me?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

Sam chuckled and stepped into the bathroom "thought you'd never ask," he said and pulled his shirt over his head.

Andy sat forward to let him climb in behind her, as she settled back she thought about Traci said "hey you don't mind staying in Jerry's Thursday night do you?" she asked.

"No," Sam replied and kissed her shoulder "he asked me today."

Andy nodded "Trac asked me too," she chuckled.

Sam wrapped his arms around her "it's gonna be one of the best days of my life."

Andy leaned back further into him "yeah, mine too," she said and tilted her head to kiss him.

It was now Thursday night and all the girls were at Andy's "did you get a sexy number to wear underneath?" Gail asked.

"I did," she giggled "are you gonna get one?"

"Don't know, I haven't decided yet," Gail replied.

"You're getting married in three weeks Gail you should get your skates on," Noelle said.

"Yes in three weeks, this is Andy's night," Gail said turning to Andy "are you and Sam doing anything after the dinner?"

Andy shrugged "my dad offered to take the kids for the night but we'll see what happens."

"Make the most of the night Andy," Zoe chuckled "you're not gonna want kids interrupting-at any point."

"Is wedding night sex really that good?" Traci asked.

Noelle and Zoe looked at one another "oh yes," they both chuckled "it's like your first time all over again but you know it's the right time," Noelle added.

Chloe scoffed "who's first time was right?" she giggled.

"Martin Owens on the back of his moms family car," Gail chuckled "I was seventeen."

"Dex…and you all know how that turned out," Traci said.

"Liam Tanner in my moms kitchen I was sixteen too…don't you ever tell Sam that," Sarah said.

"I wont," Andy giggled "Shane Smith the school bathrooms, I was fifteen…and don't you ever tell Sam that, I was rebelling at that stage."

"Richard Eastman I was eighteen and it was in my bed-my mom caught us," Chloe giggled.

"Oliver-we were nineteen," Zoe chuckled "pretty boring I know but hey I love they guy since I was twelve-still wasn't the right time though."

"I was drunk one night and went off with a guy at a party before prom," Sue said "think his name was Jason something-very bad idea."

Noelle chuckled "David Fisher I was eighteen and his dad caught us in their barn, drove me home to my mother with my underwear in my pocket."

All the girls burst out laughing "okay Noelle you win," Andy giggled "you can have the last glass of wine," she said and poured it in. "I wanna thank you guys for coming tonight it really means a lot."

"To Andy and Sammy," Noelle said holding out her glass "the couple everyone knew were meant to be together."

Everyone clinked glasses and drank to Sam and Andy, Andy looked down at her phone as it rang "excuse me, Sam's ears must be burning," she giggled and walked to the kitchen "hey baby," she answered.

"Hey babe, just checking in on my girls," Sam said.

"Your daughter is fast asleep and your sister is getting ready to leave soon," Andy replied.

"And my favourite girl?" he asked.

"Missing you," she smiled.

Sam chuckled "I'm missing you too-you know this is the first night we've been apart since…I can't even remember when that was."

Andy giggled" how's JJ?" she asked.

"Watching Leo finish off his game their both going to bed soon."

"Andy my dad and Danny?" she asked.

"Danny is whooping Dov's ass in poker and your dad is just taking it easy."

"Andy," Traci whispered loudly "sorry but Sarah Zoe and Noelle are heading now."

"Sam I gotta go the girls are leaving now," she said.

"Alright you enjoy your night and I'll see you tomorrow, love ya babe."

"Love you too, give JJ and Leo a big kiss from me and Trac…bye," Andy said and hung up.

Sam walked back into the house and sat down "girls are having a good night," he said and picked up his beer.

"Yeah unlike Epstein," Jerry chuckled "Danny just took him for next weeks paycheque."

Sam chuckled "I told you not to get cocky Epstein."

"I didn't he's just too good," Dov muttered and stood up "tables open!" he called and walked into the kitchen.

"What do you say Sam…wanna put the wedding rings down?" Danny chuckled.

"And have your sister kill me?" he chuckled "no thank you-I said no poker and meant it, I'm fine watching."

"And good for you son," Tommy said and stood up "I'm gonna get going anyone need a ride?"

"Yeah me Tommy if you don't mind," Dov said "Sue's just left Andy's."

"I'm gonna shoot too boys," Frank said and stood up "I have to get Olivia from Noelle's sister."

"Yeah Sarah left too I have to get the kids from my mom," Sarah's husband Glen said "see you tomorrow Sam and good luck man!" he called on his way out.

"And then there was three," Oliver chuckled.

"We're still here," Nick said pointing to himself and Chris.

"Five then five," Oliver chuckled "so Sammy what have you planned for Andy after the dinner?"

"Booked a room in the hotel, Tommy is taking the kids," Sam said.

"The do not disturb sign on the door," Jerry chuckled.

"Exactly," Sam chuckled "then its off to Italy for ten days just me and her."

Chris frowned "Andy never said."

"That's because she doesn't know," Oliver chuckled "Zoe and I are taking the kids Sunday and Monday, Jerry and Traci have them until Thursday, Danny has them until Sunday, Diaz you and Price are taking them until Andy and Sammy are back….with Collins Peck and Epstein babysitting in between."

"Does Chloe and Gail know about this?" Nick asked.

"Of course they do," Sam chuckled "I originally wanted to split it between Chloe and Danny but they couldn't do all of the days."

Jerry chuckled "loves young dream-he'd do anything for McNally," he said and clapped Sam on the back "the man knows how to show love."

"And to think about how you met," Oliver chuckled.

"Don't go there man," Sam warned "we've come a long way since then."

Oliver held up his hand "my bad," he said and picked up his glass "to Sammy and Andy, may they have the happy ending they deserve."

"To Sam and Andy," the others repeated and clinked glasses.

Sam sighed happily "I knew the second I met her she was worth it."

"Aww Sammy's gone all mushy," Jerry chuckled "but yeah man, I felt like that about Traci too," he said causing them all to burst out laughing.

Andy blew out a deep breath as she climbed out of the car "this is it Trac," she said and looked down at Alisha "when I walk outta here I'm gonna be Andy Swarek."

Traci smiled happily "so for the last time…let's get you married Andy McNally," she giggled and nudged her to walk on.

"Her dress is really stunning," Andy said looking down at Alisha "I can't believe they make something so small."

"She's beautiful just like her mommy," came a voice behind them.

"Danny?" she frowned "what are you doing here?"

"Dads going spare he wanted to come see you so I said I'd get a picture of you before you went in or I think he might just burst in there," he chuckled and pulled out a camera "so Trac move in and say cheese," he said.

After a few snaps Traci took over "Danny you get in one."

Danny walked to Andy and slid his hand around her waist "you look amazing Ands," he said smiling down on her "I am so proud of you," he said and kissed her forehead just as Traci clicked the camera.

"Look this time!" Traci giggled.

Danny pulled Andy closer "say cheese Mrs Swarek," he chuckled and smiled for Traci.

"I'll always be a McNally," Andy said and hugged him.

"You will," Danny said and hugged her tight "at least now you can say you're not related to our parents…well mom anyway."

"She wasn't a real McNally anyway, we don't run away…I better get in there before Sam thinks I'm not coming," she giggled.

Danny nodded "good luck I love ya and I'll see you at the hotel," he said and took his camera from Traci pulling her in front of him he took a quick snap of them and chuckled "you look beautiful Trac," he said and kissed her on the cheek "you kids have fun!" he called as he walked down the steps.

Ready now?" Traci asked.

Andy nodded as she watched Danny climb into his car she knew their dad didn't send him she knew he just wanted to be here and make sure she was okay "yeah," she said and turned to Traci "I'm so over ready," she giggled and walked inside.

Sam paced the little alter in the room "they should have been here ten minutes ago," he said and turned to Jerry call Traci again."

"I did," Jerry said and pulled out her phone "there both off…she called me and said they were on the way they should be here by now…I'll go have a look," he said and hurried down the small aisle.

Sam sighed and snapped his head to the door as it opened before Jerry had gotten to it "sorry," Traci whispered loudly "dress emergency."

Sam smiled and nodded he turned to the minister and nodded, with a wave of his hand two guys stood up at the back and opened the doors.

Jerry slapped Sam on the back as Andy came into view "wow," was all Sam could say and watch her walk up with Traci by her side and Alisha in her arms.

When Andy made it to the top she turned to Traci and handed her Alisha, turning to JJ she winked and turned to Sam. She smiled and stepped closer to him "sorry I'm late someone turned up outside."

"Your dad?" he chuckled.

"No, Danny," she smiled "he wanted a picture for my dad," she said and turned to the minister "sorry…go on," she said and turned back to Sam.

As the service went on Sam moved closer to Andy "you look absolutely gorgeous babe," he murmured in her ear.

Andy bit on her lip "you scrub up well too," she whispered.

"Can't wait to take it off later," he whispered.

"Sam," she chuckled lightly "pay attention," she said and looked away as she blushed.

"Andy and Sam," the Minster said "you have followed all the steps required by law, now Sam if you'll repeat after me. I Samuel Ben Swarek, take you Andrea Louise McNally to be my lawful wedded wife to have and to hold from this day forward. In sickness and in health, for richer or poorer for as long as we both shall live."

"I Samuel Ben Swarek, take you Andrea Louise McNally to be my lawful wedded wife," he smiled and stroked her cheek "to have and to hold from this day forward, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer," he said and slid the ring up her finger "for as long as we both shall live," he said and laced his fingers with hers.

The minister smiled "now Andy if you'll repeat after me. I Andrea Louise McNally, take you Samuel Ben Swarek to be my lawful wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward. In sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for as long as we both shall live."

Andy took her ring from Jerry "I Andrea Louise McNally, take you Samuel Ben Swarek to be my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward. In sickness and in health, for richer or poor," she sniffed and slid the ring up his finger "for as long as we both shall live."

"It is with great pleasure in front of god and the witnesses you have chosen I now pronounce you husband and wife….you may now kiss you bride."

Sam pulled Andy to him "I may now kiss my wife," he smiled widely and kissed her deeply.

"Good look to you both may you have long and happy lives Mr and Mrs Swarek," he said and clapped-Jerry and a sniffling Traci joining in too.

Andy giggled and kissed Sam again "shall we move along now husband?"

"Pictures first guys," Traci cut in.

When they arrived at the hotel Sam walked to the desk "hi, we've a table booked-Swarek party."

The guy behind the counter tapped on the computer "no, sorry," he said and looked at Sam "there's nothing here booked under a Swarek."

"What?" Sam asked and looked over at Andy "there has to be we booked on Tuesday-try McNally."

"I'll look again," the guy said and tapped away "no sorry there's no record of anyone by either names booking on Tuesday."

"But I called myself I booked it, it was confirmed," Andy said starting to panic.

Sam pinched the bridge of his nose "look buddy today is our wedding day we've booked a table for about twenty people, is there a manager or anyone I can see, she booked it I know she did."

"Sure…I'll have him called," he said and hurried away.

"Sammy," Jerry said squeezing his shoulders "you Andy and Traci go have a drink I'll sort this out."

"No I need to know what's going on before everyone starts to arrive," she whimpered.

"Babe don't cry," Sam said and rubbed her arms "we'll sort this okay," he said softly.

"Sam take her in for a drink you can't stand out here with the kids," Jerry said "I'll wait here…go on," he said when Sam opened his mouth.

"I think it would be best Sam," Traci said "the kids are getting restless."

"Fine," Sam sighed "but if he starts trying to fob you off with there's nothing he can do or whatever you come get me," he said and took Andy by the hand.

"I will now go calm down," Jerry said sending a wink Traci's way as she walked away with them.

"I can't believe this," Andy sighed "I called I booked it it was confirmed you were there Trac."

"We'll get it sorted Andy don't worry," Traci said and rubbed her knees "it'll be okay."

"This is so embarrassing," she groaned "everyone will turn up and we'll still be sitting here."

"We won't be," Sam said placing drinks down on the table "if I have to go push tables together I will they are not letting us down-not today."

Andy sighed "whatever happens please don't make a scene in front of the kids."

Sam shook his head "if they ruin our day I won't be held responsible for my actions," he said and sat down.

Out at the desk Jerry smiled as the desk guy arrived back with another guy "Hank," he said and held out his hand "I'm Jerry Barber we seem to be having a little problem here."

"Kyle has already explained it to me we're a half hour behind, can you keep them occupied until then?" he asked.

Jerry nodded "that I can do, thank you," he said and walked off to find the others.

"Jerry!" Andy called and jumped up "what's going on? What's happening?" she asked quickly.

"Andy relax," Jerry said and held up his hands "it's sorted okay," he said and sat down "they're running later with the tables is all."

"Oh thank god," Andy said and sat back down.

….

Ten minutes later Kyle asked Jerry to come back to the desk, after a minute he returned "seems there's been a double booking."

"What does that mean?" Sam asked not liking his tone.

"It means two people booked the same table," Andy said and looked back at Jerry "so what's happening with us?"

"The manager has apologised but the other group were here before us," Jerry said.

"So that's it then?" Sam snapped "they're just turning us away?" he said and stood up "I don't think so!" he hissed.

"Sammy calm down and let me finish," Jerry said stopping him from going any further. "What I was saying was the other group were here before us, so the manager asked would we mind eating in one of the function rooms."

"No," Andy said immediately "everyone is on their way we need to get sorted."

"I already told him we'd take it so if you'll follow me Kyle will show us where to go," Jerry said and picked up JJ.

When they got to the desk Kyle and the manager Hank we're standing there "I'm very sorry about the mix up and the room is on us of course, congratulations and again I'm very sorry," he said holding his hand out to Sam.

Sam shook "it as long as this gets to happen we're good," he said and stepped back.

"If you'll follow Kyle he'll get you seated and a round of drinks on us," Hank said.

"Thank you!" Andy called back as Sam led her away.

When they got to the room Andy frowned as Traci took Alisha from her "you look like your arm is dead," Traci chuckled.

"Oh, thanks," Andy giggled.

Jerry and Traci moved to each side of the door "thanks Kyle but we can take it from here," Jerry smiled and pushed the doors in "Mr and Mrs go first," he said gesturing for them to go on.

Sam pulled Andy closer "I told you everything would be…" he trailed off and his mouth fell open.

"What?" Andy asked and looked into the room "oh my god!" she yelled.

"SURPRISE!" all their family friends and everyone they knew yelled.

Andy was speechless she turned and looked back at Traci and Jerry who stood by the doors grinning like fools "happy wedding reception you guys," Jerry chuckled.

"You guys did this for us?" Sam asked still in shock.

"You deserve it," Traci smiled and hugged Andy "don't be too mad," she said and walked to Tommy and Danny with the kids.

Jerry chuckled "I told you I was gonna make this a day to remember," he said and hugged him.

"Thanks man, really," Sam said and pulled Andy closer "I really don't know what to say."

"You two having a good time is all I need to see," he said and walked over to Traci.

"I can't believe this," Andy whispered.

Sam chuckled and nudged her to walk "just makes the day better babe-everyone is here."

"Yeah but who's paying for this?" Andy asked.

"Did you think I'd let my daughter get married and not have the mother of all parties?"

They both turned to see Tommy smiling at them "dad?" Andy gasped "did you pay for all this?"

Tommy nodded "of course I did…my gift," he chuckled "you look beautiful sweetie," he said and hugged her.

"Thanks dad," she sniffed "and you really didn't have to do this it's way too much."

Tommy waved her off "how many times does your oldest daughter get married-and it wasn't my idea, see your fiends…Sam," he said and held out his hand "you're a good man and an excellent father, if you do half the job looking after Andy than you do with those kids I'll die a happy happy man."

"You don't have to worry about that Tommy," he said and looked over at Andy "she's my world I'm always gonna look after her and my kids."

"Good to know," Tommy said and walked off "now go enjoy your party!"

"I have a surprise of my own," Sam said and walked her to their table "Sunday morning, me you, airport…ten days in Italy."

"No way!" Andy yelled excitedly "we're really going to Italy?"

Sam nodded and stroked her cheek "we are-kids are sorted, and I got a few things planned too."

Andy smiled "I love you so much," she said and moved closer to him "so much," she said and kissed him.

Sam pulled back "can't wait to get you all to myself later."

Andy nodded and moved to his ear "that's when you'll get your surprise," she said and stood up "we better go say hello to everyone before dinners start coming out."

"You guys are so dead," Andy said as she dropped into a seat beside Gail and everyone else "I can't believe you all knew about it, and you," she said turning to Chloe "you lied to your own sister."

"It was for a good cause," Chloe giggled "and it was Traci's idea we just got it to happen."

"Dude you had to have a massive party," Doc chuckled "you and Sam are like king and queen of the Toronto police service, just look at how many cops are here," he said looking around.

"How much have you had to drink?" Andy chuckled.

"That's his first and he's right," Nick said "everyone loves you guys."

Andy smiled and stood up "well thank you guys so much, I'll always remember this day and what you did…I love you all."

"We better move on babe," Sam said "thanks again guys you're all awesome!" he called as they moved onto the next table.

A few hours later Andy made her way outside and leaned on the rail it was way too hot in there, dinner had gone smoothly-Jerry's speech had made her cry, but Danny's had made her sob. She smiled to herself she couldn't believe her family and friends had gone to all this trouble just for her and Sam to have a good day. She looked beside her as someone leaned on the rail beside her "hey," she said and looked back to the grounds.

"You okay?" Danny asked.

Andy nodded "I'm great just too hot, what are you doing out here?"

Danny shrugged "just wanted to see you were okay."

"Like you did this morning?" she chuckled.

Danny chuckled "you saw through that huh?"

Andy scoffed "I know you Daniel," she teased "but thank you for being there, I was kinda feeling guilty no one was there."

"We you shouldn't have," Danny said and pulled her into him "we all just wanted you to be happy and have the day you wanted."

"I am," she nodded "so happy…and that's all down to Sam," she smiled. "He makes me happier than I've ever been, be it bringing me coffee in bed or jut sitting beside me on the sofa he's all I want and will ever want. He's given me two beautiful kids my home and my life- I wouldn't have it any other way."

Danny smiled and pulled her closer "so Andy McNally-sorry, Swarek," he chuckled "you've finally got what you wanted out of life, what's next for you?"

Andy giggled "I'm gonna ask you something important then I'm gonna go spend the rest of the night with the people I love."

"And what have you to ask me?" he asked curiously.

Andy turned to face him "me and Sam would love it if you would be Alisha's godfather."

"Really?" he asked his smile widening.

Andy nodded "you're very important to me, I love you so much you've always been there for me when I needed you even if I didn't ask you to be. You can offer them guidance when Sam and I can't and I know if anything ever did happen to me or Sam you'd be there for them."

Danny pulled her into a hug "I love you too lil sis, and I'm always gonna be here for all of you…I'd love to be Alisha's godfather nothing would make me prouder."

"Am I interrupting something?" Chloe asked.

"No," Andy said "come over here I wanna ask you something."

Chloe walked over to her "Sam is looking for you."

"He'll find me in a minute I'm not far way, so I've just asked Danny to be Alisha's godfather…will you be her godmother?"

Chloe gasped "me?" she asked after a minute.

"Yes Chloe you…so?" Andy chuckled.

"Oh Andy of course I will!" Chloe squealed and jumped on her "oh I'm so excited thank you."

"Don't mention it little sister…I'm starting to sound like you Danny," she giggled.

"You learn from the best," Danny said pulling them both into a hug.

Sam stood by the door watching them with a smile, "beautiful sight isn't it?" Tommy asked coming up beside him.

Sam nodded and looked back at them "yeah it is," he said and shook his hand "if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go talk to my wife," he said and walked out to them "so you've asked them then?"

Andy pulled away from Danny and Chloe "yeah…did you want to ask?"

"No," he chuckled "as long as they said yes that's all that matters."

"She did and we did so we'll leave you to it…later!" Danny called and led Chloe back inside.

"Having a good day babe?" Sam asked wrapping his arms around her and pulling her back against him.

Andy leaned back into him "best day," she said and tiled her head "better than I could have ever imagined."

Sam chuckled and kissed her shoulder "how about we go say bye to everyone and go to our room?"

Andy frowned "we don't have a room."

Sam turned her to face him "we do," he said and kissed her "and it's waiting for us whenever we want it."

Andy leaned in and kissed him "that'll be right after we see everyone and get the kids sorted…you have ten minutes," she said and pulled him inside.

She really was the luckiest girl in the world after everything they were finally happy-and nothing or no one would ever break that happiness.
