THE STORY OF LEGOLAS' DAGGERS
(Unique Chapter)
Arwen, wondering if everything was fine for Aragorn in his Quest for the Ring, decided to visit him one day. She arrived and saw that they were all fine, but noticed that Legolas looked particularly healthy, almost glowing. And actually, she noticed quite the same for Aragorn.
Recognizing some elvish symptoms, she tried to stay calm and asked Aragorn if he and Legolas were still "just friends or more".
Aragorn replied to her, calmy, that they were still the bestest of friends, but nothing more.
Arwen seemed reassured, and left the next day, back to Rivendell.
A few days afterwards, the Fellowship had a fight against orcs and Legolas seemed to be in big trouble. Aragorn came for help and asked him what was wrong.
Legolas replied "Using a bow is difficult in close-combat, and since Arwen left, I can't find my daggers anymore."
Puzzled, Aragorn decided to write to Arwen and sent her a message with a bird.
"Dear Arwen,
I won't say that you took Legolas' daggers. I won't say that you didn't take
Legolas' daggers.
But since you left, he cannot find his daggers anymore.
Much love,
Aragorn"
A few days afterwards, a bird came back with the answer.
"Dear Aragorn,
I won't say that you sleep with Legolas. I won't say that you don't sleep with
Legolas.
But if Legolas was sleeping in HIS blankets, he would have found out his daggers
long ago.
Much love,
Arwen"
