She has to be careful with this one, Sophie knows, for she's as fragile as glass. She wants to protect her, and she will. Their entire team would devour anybody who hurt Parker, but Sophie knows the mother lioness Eliot's accused her of trying to hide would come roaring to the front. She'd rip apart anybody who hurt the sweet, peculiar girl, and she won't be one of those who hurt her.

Parker's different than any other mark, but perhaps part of that is because she isn't a mark, not really. She doesn't want to steal anything from her, even if she does enjoy their flirtations, stroking her shoulder and hair, and occasionally letting her fingers trail lower. When she slides her body against hers in the heat of battle, on the dance floor, or during one of their rare cuddle times, she's in search of something far different than anything she's ever wanted off of a man. She only wants one thing from Parker. That conquest will take the most careful planning and sweetest words and actions Sophie's ever deployed, but her true target here - Parker's heart - will be her most cherished prize of all once she's earned it.
