I've been watching the show this whole season, but not much has really been jumping out at me, inspiration-wise. Most of it was in part that I couldn't quite dig the whole Simon thing (seriously. I miss Jai.) and it was also in part that I had a hard time not throwing something at the TV for the dumb shit Annie (and Auggie) happened to pull this season.

Eventually though, the season did pick up, and I decided that now's as good a time as any to prove I'm not dead. So… there.

Spoilers through this season, though certainly for Glass Spider (3.08) and Suffragette City (3.09). Oh, and it's kind of heavy on the adult language, because… well, you'll understand why.

Seven devils all around me
Seven devils in my house
See, they were there when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See, I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done

- "Seven Devils" by Florence + the Machine (I can't hear this song and not want to go out and tear down a city)

The bitch tried to kill her. Twice.

Everyone knew that, but no one seemed to fully appreciate it. It was just an endless supply of the leak, blah blah, traitor under our nose, blah blah blah.

That just made it worse every time she heard it. Not only had the bitch tried to shoot her dead and smother her, she had set her the fuck up. If everything had gone according to plan, she would have been the one with the dirt on her face and an impending trial on her hands.

Still no one was willing to listen. Just more whining about how the bitch was one of the best, and finding her was going to require nothing short of SEAL Team 6.

Yeah, well, she had a better suggestion then calling in the Navy. She would go in, and she would drag the bitch in, preferably by her hair. Or she'd just break her kneecaps. Whatever was slower and more excruciating.

Preposterous, everyone said. Particularly Joan and Auggie. They may have been in her camp, but they wanted her to get "better," not throw herself in another "potentially life-threatening situation."

Fuck that. The only life this mission would be threatening was that bitch's.

Auggie tried to reason with her. Several times. And while she appreciated the effort—and his presence—much, much more than she thought she was capable after the past six months, his pleas might as well have fallen on deaf ears. And she promised herself that she would have a nice, long conversation with Auggie about life—and love, and death—after this was all done.

But first, Annie needed to shoot this bitch dead.
