A/N: I know, I'm horrible. I feel lower then a banana slug; though they are cool looking. It's been a long time since I've been on here, but I am back and I never gave up on my stories. I will finish them. I revamped this first chapter because of all of the errors I found with it and I will be posting the next chapter in the next 24 hours. To all my followers and readers I am deeply sorry and hope you still enjoy the story. Thank You.

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my Sky High Fan Fiction. This is my first M rated fan fiction, so yes there will be future lemons in this story. Please enjoy and reviews are always appreciated.

*Disclaimer: I do not own Sky High, but if I did I would have held Warren Peace hostage long ago. :P

Cassie POV

Adults are always talking to teens about how great high school was for them. I was a jock, I was a cheerleader. I blew up the chem. lab with my mind...

When I first walked through the doors of Sky High I had those same goals in mind. I would be that jock or cheerleader or even blow up the chem. lab with my mind.

Okay... Maybe not the last one. I'm not telekentic or a pyrokenetic. I can't even work a lighter.

But instead; I was sitting at the lunch table; surrounded by the few people I trusted my life with and I was neither a jock; to clumsy; a cheerleader; again to clumsy; or blowing up stuff with my mind; not my super power and to clumsy.

I wasn't even a hero in the hero community; unlike my friends who took down Royale Pain. Where was I you ask? I was at home, down for a month because I broke my leg tripping over a tree root. A tree root! Nature hated me it seems, but Layla, gotta love her, said that Nature doesn't hate me. We shall see...

"Hey Cassie, did you finish the mad science homework?"

"Huh?" I mummbled snapping out of my self pity party and turned to give my attention to Ethan; who had just sat down next to me.

"Uh, yea, I finished it." I bent down and pulled it out of my bag; handing it to Ethan with a wobbly smile.

"Thanks Cassie." He returned my smile with a brighter one and started scanning through my homework. I could not figure out why though, he has always gotten better grades than me. Feeling dismissed I turned my attention back to poking at my food and continued conteplating on my dilema.

Ha, like thinking about has helped it before.

It wasn't the fact that I was clumsy; or that I wasn't a cheerleader. It wasn't even the normal everyday super hero high school stuff. My problem would be a great bit on the Dr. Bill show or even Surry actually.

My probems was that I was in love with the one the only Will Stronghold.

Just thinking about him made my stomach tie itself in knots. From the way his hair always had that wind swept look; to the sparkle in his baby blue eyes. He was perfect in every way.

But his smile; his smile is what always got me. It made me want to skip down the halls and sing or jump up and down and scream with happiness.

But, his smile wasn't for me. It was for Layla.

Layla was my best fiend, besides Magenta, and I didn't hate her for loving Will. After all he was so cute and well... Perfect.

But it was still hard. It was hard to watch them hold hands and sneak kisses when they thought no one was looking. It also made me feel like a creep. I tried to ignore it; but I just couldn't and finally gave up in the end. I figured it was best to bury my feelings until I figured out a solution.

Lately this method has not been working for me.

"Magenta girl, don't be like that!"

I looked up from my lunch this time to see Zack and Magenta walking towards our table. From the look on Magentas face I could tell Zack messed up, again.

"Zack, just back off." Magenta growled in return; slamming her tray down across from me. I just reached for my fruit punch, taking a sip, and waited for the drama to unfold.

"I swear, I didn't mean to throw that frog at you!" Zack exclaimed, taking the other empty seat next to me. "I was aiming for Ethan!"

"Hey!" Ethan said, looking up from my homework to glare at Zack. Zack just shot him a sheepish smile.

"Sorry man…" He mumbled, turning to stare down at his tray forlornly as Magenta continued to glare at him.

"So… Magenta, are we still on for Friday night?" I asked, ignoring the sad whimpering coming from the person next to me.

"Yea, I was thinking…" She was cut off by Laylas sing-song voice.

"What's happening on Friday?" She asked setting her tray down next to Magenta; Will setting his down next to hers. I could feel a blush gracing my face as he flashed me a smile in greeting. I quickly gave him a friendly wave and turned my gaze back towards Magenta.

Don't acknowledge the feelings. Don't acknowledge them... Was the mantra racing across my mind.

Just get through lunch….

"Cassie and I were thinking about having a girl's night." Magenta explained taking a bite of her sandwich. I nodded my head in agreement.

"Oh, that's cool." Layla said. She cast me and mention a questioning look. in return we both continued to stare at her in silence.

That's when it clicked.

"You know you're invited Oaky" I said with a laugh. Oaky had been my nickname for her since she told me about her powers when we were kids. Magenta gave a snort and bopped herself in the forehead.

"Oh, I knew I was forgetting something." She sighed. "I'm bad at remember to invite people. I just automatically think everyone knows."

Layla laughed at her. "It's okay, I knew you hadn't forgotten me."

"So what are you guys doing on Friday?" I asked. The question wasn't directed at anyone in particular.

"I was going to hang out with Zack, Ethan, and Warren on Friday. We're going to watch that new action movie that just came out." Will stated; popping a fry into his mouth.

"Fo-rizzle, that movie's going to be sick!" Zack said, reaching over to high five Will in his excitement.

After hearing Wills voice I could feel the knots coming back. I could handle sitting near him and barely ignoring him; but when he spoke it was a losing battle.

Sometime; while concetrating on keeping my breathing normal; the bell rang signaling that lunch was over. I stood up with my friends and walked over to put my tray away. Turning to head towards the exit I felt myself slam into something, or more like someone. Tilting my head up I took in the black leather jacket, the shoulder length brown and red hair and finally the piercing brown eyes.

"Oh, hey Warren; sorry for bumping into you." I said flashing him an apologetic smile.

Warren POV

I wanted to hit something...

No, scratch that. I wanted to incinerate something.

Or more specifically it was the guy staring at Cassie with hungar in his eyes. She wasn't a piece of meat to be drooled over.

She was smart and sweet. Always offering to help others with their school work.

Not mention she was beautiful. With her silver eyes that flashed with anger or glittered with amusment; that not even the black rimmed glasses she wore could hide. Or the way her mahogany curls fell gently past her shoulders; and her lips..

Damn! He needed to stop before made an idiot out of himself. Warren Peace was no poet.

But those lips looked so delicious; liked ripened peaches waiting to be tasted...

"Dammit" I growled.

I jumped up just as the bell rang signaling that lunch was over. I gathered my stuff with angry jerks and started stomping my way towards the exit when another body slammed into mine.

Looking down, a retort ready to be unleashed on the unsuspecting victim; I felt my anger slowly slip away. Standing before me was Cassie. A blush stained her checks as she looked at me.

"Oh, hey Warren, sorry for bumping into you." She said, flashing me a small smile.

I wanted to tell her I forgive her. I wanted to explain that she culd make it up to me if she let me take her out. I wanted a lot of things.

Instead, I got angry.

"Watch where you're going Barke!" I snapped at her; grasping her by the shoulders and pushing her away from me; ignoring how fragile she felt under my hands. I regretted it instantly when I saw the hurt in her eyes; but it only lasted a second before the hurt was replaced with anger.

"You don't have to be an ass Peace, I said I was sorry." She growled at me and proceeded to shove past me. In her rush to get away she failed to notice the small grey book that fell out of her bag.

I bent down quickly to pick it up.

"Hey, Barke, you dropped your…" I started to call out, but upon straightening up I let my words die off. She was already gone, leaving me alone the cafeteria. Curious, I looked down to examine the book I held in my hand. There was no writing on the front cover or the back and it looked like it had been run through the washing machine a time or two. I slowly flipped the book open to the first page and almost dropped it in shock.

The Diary of Cassandra Barke

"Oh, shit."

So there was the first chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it. This chapter was more of an introduction to the characters and my oc. To be honest I am very excited to be writing this and am excited for you to read it. Again thanks.
