Kakashi sighed as the two missing Nin went into a defensive position as they held their dragon hatchlings protectively, Kakashi just chuckled and said "relax...I'm not going to attack. We dragon riders have to stick together..."

Itachi's eyes went wide at that and said "I thought they were just myths!"

Kakashi went to say something when they heard a soft groan from Kaiya and the words "By the Log...that fucking hurt..."

Itachi made to kneel by her when they all heard the rest of the dragon Riders and Sasuke approaching, Kakashi told the two new dragon riders to get out of there and to meet them out in the Forest of Death's north entrance in two days. Itachi and Kisame nodded before disappearing into the trees just in time to avoid being seen by Sasuke and the others, Kakashi used altered Anbu Sign language to tell the other dragon riders that the eggs had found their owners. Kaiya chuckled at the smiles while Aizen told the other dragons "It was Gin and Nnoitra that hatched from the eggs for Itachi Uchiha and his partner Kisame"

Unohana raised her eye ridge and said "Why didn't they stay?"

"Because of Sasuke...plus they are both wanted criminals..."

Grimmjow snorted and then chuckled as he said "Anyone want to place bets on what will happen when Kenpachi see Nnoitra again? I say they get into a fight..."

Aizen snorted and said "I say they actually wind up together...as a couple."

All the other dragons looked at each other then said "Nah!"

Aizen just chuckled and said "The two of them are very similar in their likes and tastes..."

Soi Fon looked at him with a calculating look and said "You know something we don't, don't you?"

"Maybe..."

They then heard Kakashi tell the others to mount up while he helped Kaiya, the other three dragon Riders nodded and got on their dragons as Kaiya was helped onto Aizen's back. Kakashi then got on Szayel's back with Sasuke behind him as all of the dragons took to the sky and headed back to Konoha, Aizen then sighed in amusement as Grimmjow and Kiba started singing "Who let the Dogs out" together with Akamaru howling along from Kiba's jacket. Kaiya giggled at the three then winced as her headache made itself known once again, they soon saw the gates of their home and landed while Kaiya sighed in relief, Aizen looked at her in slight worry and nuzzled Kaiya as she reassured him that she was fine before wincing at the raging headache she had.

They then went to report as Sasuke grumbled about not seeing any action with Mizuki; Kaiya's eye began to twitch rapidly at the Uchiha's complaining then finally snapped at him to shut up. Sasuke looked surprised at the tone she used and Kakashi then said "I suggest you be quiet, Sasuke...Kaiya was thrown into a boulder and has a bad headache from it."

Kaiya then knocked on the door of the Hokage's office and they heard Tsunade call for them to come in, They filed in and Kaiya waited as the dragon riders gave their report and then Sasuke gave his report before being dismissed so that she could talk to her fellow dragon riders about something. Sasuke nodded and left as Tsunade told the Anbu to leave then she threw up the privacy wards as she asked for Kakashi and Kaiya to report, Kaiya and Kakashi explained everything and Tsunade sighed as she said to Kaiya "You knew Itachi the best before he left, am I correct?"

"Yes baa-chan, Itachi wouldn't have killed his family unless something was wrong within his Clan; he also cared way too much about Sasuke to kill him so he motivated Sasuke to get stronger by doing what he did but the Village have spoiled him to the point of no return thus Sasuke thinks it's his life goal to kill the only family he has left."

Tsunade sighed and said "Did he say where the orders he was given were? If we wish to convince Sasuke of his brother's mission, we'll need those orders."

"Itachi told me that they should be in a secret safe in the bookshelf behind the 3rd Hokage's secret reading material..."

Tsunade nodded and said "Do you know the combination?"

Kaiya thought for a few minutes and then blinked as she said "I think it's the month, day and year Konohamaru was born..."

Tsunade then stood and walked over to the bookshelf where she found the "Reading" material then looked behind to find the safe tightly locked, she entered the combination and everyone waited with bated breath as the Lock then clicked and the door opened to reveal a few scrolls and two letters. Kaiya was surprised when Tsunade looked through the first of the 7 scrolls then called Kaiya over, Kaiya walked over and was given the two letters and four of the scrolls to her awe, she looked up at Tsunade who smiled sadly and said "They belonged to your parents and the letters are addressed to you..."

Kaiya teared up and hugged the scrolls before going to sit on the couch; she opened the first letter and began to read the words on the paper...

My dearest Baby girl, Kaiya...

If you're reading this, I'm no longer around and I pray you've had a peaceful life so far. As for who is writing this letter, it's your loving Father, Minato Namikaze. I wish I could have seen you grow up, get a boyfriend, get married but sadly the Kyuubi has been released from the second container to hold it and I must reseal him inside you do to your bloodline from your Mom. I wish that the Village will and would see you as the hero you are but even I know Human stupidity will win in most cases...I could have used another child but I could never ask for someone to give up a child in order to seal the Kyuubi thus I will be using my own baby girl and dying as the cost.

I and your mother left you two scrolls each with our personal Justu and fighting styles, so study hard! Remember That I will always love you Kiddo and you are the most precious thing to me and your mother. Now go kick ass and take names, Baby girl!

Kaiya had tears in her eyes as she hugged the letter tight to her chest; she then slipped the letter back into the envelope and gently grabbed the second letter. Kaiya's hands were shaking as she pulled the letter out and began to read yet again...

To: my sweet Little Kaiya...

Hey sweetie, Kushina Uzumaki here also known as Mom! I pray you never have to read this letter that I'm writing as you grow inside me, I love you my baby girl and I hope you're as good as me when it comes to trap making, unpredictability and pranks!

Now on to the serious stuff, If I didn't survive the night you're born and your Father did go through with possibly sealing Kyuubi in you then it's time you know some stuff about our family. First off, my grandmother was married to the First Hokage and had the Kyuubi sealed in her. When she was dying, I was chosen to be the next container and was brought to Konoha to assume the responsibility of being the Kyuubi container. Second, you STILL have family out there! If need be, contact my cousin Nagato who also goes by the name Pein to help you with your training as the head of the Uzumaki Clan and Namikaze clan. He can be trusted along with two good friends that belong to the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist; the two are Kisame and Zabuza of the Mist village and they can train you in swordsmanship.

I'll close this letter with my wish to have seen you able to grow from your first step and your first word to being a confident young lady with a family of your own some day. I love you with all my heart and can't wait until you're born, my special little girl.

Kaiya gently slipped the letter into its envelope then began to wipe at her eyes as the tears came to her eyes and she tried not to lose it completely, Kakashi sat next to her then pulled her into a hug as he said "It's ok to cry, Kaiya...no one would think less of you if you let it out for once..."

That did it and Kaiya started sobbing as she buried her head into Kakashi's chest while Kakashi gave her the comfort she had needed for so long but was denied, Tsunade quietly dismissed Kiba, Hinata, Shino and their dragons and then as soon as the door was closed...she joined the hug that Kakashi was giving to Kaiya. Aizen watched with sad eyes as Kaiya cried herself to sleep in Tsunade and Kakashi's arms; he then offered his back to them as Kakashi easily picked up the sleeping preteen girl and placed her on Aizen. Aizen and Kakashi then left to get Kaiya home as she slept peacefully on Aizen's back...

Two days later...

Itachi was waiting quietly with Kisame as they held their hatchlings close to their bodies under their cloaks; they were standing silently under a tree near the north entrance and keeping an eye out for Konoha Nin and Anbu when they heard a Caw of a raven causing Itachi to smile. He motioned for Kisame to follow him as they followed the sound of the raven to a waterfall; Suddenly Kaiya stuck her head out from behind the Waterfall and told them to hurry into the Tunnel before Anbu came into the area on their rounds. Itachi and Kisame quickly followed her and found themselves in the Training grounds that the dragon riders used to train with Anko and Tsunade waiting for them with two large female dragons. Itachi bowed politely to them with Kisame doing the same as their hatchlings poked their heads out of the two males' cloaks. Itachi stood straight as his hatchling sniffed the air then started wiggling and chirping loudly at the one female dragon that was black with a strawberry blonde mane and soft blue eyes.

Itachi looked confused at his hatchling's reaction but stood his ground as the female approached and gently sniffed his hatchling with a look of wild hope in her eyes, Kaiya smiled as she then explained the short version of who exactly their dragons used to be and what happened for them to become dragons. Itachi and Kisame listened in shock but they knew weirder things have happened in their line of work, Kisame then smiled and said "So basically we are bonded for life and if the rider dies...the dragon they are bonded to dies also but if the dragon dies instead of the rider, then the rider lives?"

"Pretty much..."

Itachi then asked softly "So how do we get them to fly?"

Kaiya grinned evilly and explained how that was done causing the two hatchlings to gulp and look a bit afraid for their lives, Kisame decided to go first and took off running as Nnoitra flapped his wings on pure instinct. The dark purple dragon then rose into the air as he was tossed gently; he soared into the Sky and let out a loud roar as he became an adult then landed in front of Kisame. Kaiya laughed as Tsunade, Anko and Kisame swore and each paid her five dollars to Nnoitra's amused confusion, Aizen who had arrived during Nnoitra's first flight, chuckled and said "Let's just say she bet them that you would be the biggest Male dragon so far..."

That got a good laugh out of Nnoitra as Itachi took his turn with his own hatchling; Gin soared happily into the clouds as he felt the heat fill him as his new body transitioned into adulthood. He soon landed and rubbed noses with Rangiku as they cooed happily, Itachi smiled at seeing his new companion so happy when Tsunade turned to him and said "We found your original orders...but it said that the children were to be spared..."

Itachi sighed and said "There was another person there that killed the children even though I tried to stop him... once he was done, he disappeared and I knew I had to do something to salvage the plan so I told my brother that load of bull and left him in the Genjutsu..."

Tsunade sighed and said "Well, we'll try to end the mission for you and if Kisame wishes to join the Village, he'll be on Probation for about 4 months."

"Thank you Tsunade-sama"

Kaiya then took a deep breath and asked Kisame "Kisame-san...did you really know my mom, Kushina Uzumaki? I was given a letter she wrote when she was pregnant with me just in case she died and it mentioned you and Zabuza by name as friends of hers..."

Kisame looked surprised then smiled as he said "Yeah I knew her...she was one of the bravest people I knew and a great swordswoman. She also was a prankster in a big way and hated Bullies."

Kaiya smiled happily and said "That's more than I ever knew about her before..."

Kisame blinked then chuckled and ruffled Kaiya's hair as he said "Considering some of the prank stories I've been hearing about you from Itachi, you sound exactly like you having your mom's personality..."

Kaiya grinned at that and thanked him for telling her about her mom, Kisame then told her it was no problem and ruffled Kaiya's hair again. Itachi then said to Kisame and the others "We need to go but we'll try to keep in touch."

Tsunade nodded and Kaiya then wished them a safe Journey, Gin reluctantly parted from his cuddle with Rangiku as she gave him a quick kiss and softly said "We'll see each other soon, Gin. Please be careful...I don't want to lose you again."

Gin's eyes softened and he nuzzled her before leaving to go stand by Itachi, Kisame grinned as he was on Nnoitra's back after the quick explanation Kaiya gave him and Itachi on how to stay on. He watched as Itachi jumped on to Gin's back and their dragons leapt into the sky as they head back to the base...

Meanwhile...

Gaara sighed as he pondered over how he felt about Kaiya and why her presence made him feel warm and happy to be near her, Tia and Ulquiorra gave each other knowing looks then played a quick game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to see who should talk to him. Ulquiorra won with Paper as Tia had Rock and Tia went to go talk with Rukia while the two had their chat...
