"You know it's crazy... Henry thinks I'm some kind of White Knight..." Emma says as she traces random patterns on Regina's bare back. Regina hums, too lost in the soft touches of her lover.

"And still according to this fairytale book, you are supposed to be the Evil Queen." Emma feels muscles tensing under her fingers. But Regina remains silent.

"And this Evil Queen you are supposed to be, she's done some pretty nasty stuff." Regina tries to get out of the reach of those soft fingers but Emma is faster and straddles her. She bends over her back, effectively crushing her and enabling her to move.

"But she wasn't born evil. She's been made. Her mother ripped the heart of her True Love right in front of her eyes and forced her into an arranged wedding with an old selfish king." whispers Emma in Regina's ear. The Mayor is too captivated and afraid to dare to move. She thinks that this is it. This is how she will die. This is how the Savior ends the Curse and kills the Evil Queen.

"I can't believe that this Evil Queen has lost her ability to love. I think she loves very deeply. She just doesn't know how to love because it always ended up with death and despair. And if she can love, then she can't be evil. She can't be beyond redemption. She can be saved." Regina's heart is pounding in her chest.

"And saving people is the job of the White Knight, right? Regina, turn around and look at me" Emma lifts her leg to give room to Regina so she can flip on her back. The look on the Mayor's face is one of a terrified being. Emma looks deep into Regina's eyes.

"You love so very deeply, Regina. You haven't lost your ability to love. I know what you've done and I know you feel sorry for them. And I forgive your past."

Emma lowers herself on the brunette until her lips are at the level of her ears and whispers:

"Let me show you how it feels to be loved. Let me show you how to love. Let me be your White Knight"
