Author's Note: I am once again sorry for the long wait. I've rewritten this final chapter over and over again because I wanted it to be perfect. Thank you all for reading and your comments and reviews and suggestions and support, its been overwhelming. Okay, enough of being mushy, on with the story!

Oh and I just realized that I never did a disclaimer in this story. I do not own House of Anubis.

Previously on House of Anubis (well previously in this story anyway): The Anubis residents are spending thier summer as school to prepare for their final year at boarding school. Sibuna is hoping for a peaceful summer, no mystery, no curse, but of course they're not that lucky. Someone is after them and they need to figure out who. It turns out to be a spirit who also happens to be Senkhara's daughter. Now they need to figure out what she wants. Meanwhile, Sibuna broke up leaving only Fabian and Nina to deal with the mystery. When Amber rejoins, she keeps it a secret from Alfie who had left Sibuna to spend more time with her. When Eddie and Joy join Sibuna, Patricia is upset because she wanted Eddie to be left out of it. He breaks up with her, causing her to leave the house and go missing. To help raise money for the library, they all enter a contest which results in them taking a field trip to Egypt. Joy and Mick stay behind. Joy is hoping to start a relationship with Mick who is still into Mara who broke up with Jerome when he asked her to choose between them. While in Egypt, they discover Patricia is there as well and is possessed by the spirit and the only way to free her is by banishing the spirit back to the underworld. Senkhara's daughter however plans to use the Chosen One and the Osirion to unleash all spirits into the world. They are able to defeat her but in the process, they cause a pyramid to collapse leaving Fabian and Eddie trapped inside.

"No!" Nina screamed. She began to run back to the pyramid but Alfie pulled her back. "Alfie, let me go! We have to help them!"

"You'll get crushed." But Nina continued to struggle. Mr Sweet just stared at the caved pyramid, tears running down his face knowing that his son was buried somewhere in that rubble. Patricia, who was lying on the ground, woke up. She looked around, dazed.

"What happened? Where am I?"

"Are you alright?" Piper hugged her sister.

"The last thing I remember I was arguing with Eddie," she said. "Speaking of Eddie, where is that weasel?" Everyone was quiet. "What? Where is...Nina, why are you crying?" And then she saw the pyramid behind her. "No...don't tell me."

"Fabian and Eddie are both inside," Nina said. "They pushed me out of the way, but they couldn't get out fast enough." Patricia was quiet for a moment.

"No, you're lying!" she screamed. "I'm dreaming, this is just a dream!" She ran to the crumpled pyramid, pulling rock out of the way. No one stopped her. "Eddie, can you hear me?"

"Its no use Patricia," Mr Sweet putting his hand on her shoulder. She pushed it away. "He's gone."

"Eddie!" she screamed. She stopped digging and just sat there, tears running down her face. He couldn't be gone, he couldn't. She would kill him if he was gone. She would bring him back to life and kill him.

She heard someone call her name.

"Just leave me alone." she snapped.

"Patricia...that wasn't us who said that," Mr Sweet said. They all listened and they heard a voice calling for Patricia. It was coming from inside the pyramid.

"There's no way!" Alfie said in disbelief. This time there was no doubt that it was him.

"Eddie!" they all shouted. They began to dig through they rock. They moved a big piece of rock blocking the entrance. Eddie came walking out, dusty and dirty, supporting Fabian.

"A rock hit him on the head, but I think he'll be fine," he said as he laid him on the ground. Mr Sweet hugged his son tightly. Eddie awkwardly patted him on the shoulder.

"We thought you were toast!" Alfie said.

"Nothing can bring down an Osirion," Eddie joked although he thought he was going to be toast too. He looked at Patricia. Everyone glanced at the awkwardly waiting for something to happen. Patricia stared back at him. Part of her wanted to run and hug him, but she wasn't sure if he wanted her too. She stayed where she was. "You okay Yacker?" She nodded.

Fabian woke up rubbing his head.

"Fabian!" Nina cried hugging him.

"Ow! Nina!"

"Oops, sorry!"

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yeah, thanks to you," she said. "And Eddie."

"I don't mean to be a downer on this party," Alfie said. "But we just destroyed an Egyptian monument. Don't you think we should split?"

"Yeah, I don't want to end up in jail again," Amber said.

"Jail?" Patricia asked. "What exactly happened while I was possessed?"

"Nothing much really," Alfie said. "You broke into a museum, stole an artifact, and framed your sister for it."

"So nothing new then," Patricia joked. They all laughed as they made their way back to the hotel.

"Edison," Eric called to his son. "Can we talk?" They hung back from the group.

"I guess...I just want to say...I mean..." Eric sputtered trying to find the words to say.

"Spit it out dad," Eddie said. "If you're going to yell at me, it shouldn't be too hard to do."

"I'm not going to yell at you," Eric said. There were tears in his eyes. "I just want to tell you how proud I am of you. I know that you are mad because I never talked to you about the Osirion. That was a mistake. I should have been honest with you from the start."

"If you had been, I would have thought you were mad." Eddie said.

"The truth is, I was afraid of how you would react if I told you who you were. Rufus, the Osirion before you, turned against everyone, he went bad. I didn't want you to turn out the same way. I'm sorry I didn't have proper faith in you. You may be ashamed to call me your dad, but I could never be more proud to call you my son." Eddie was quiet.

"I was never ashamed to call you my dad," he said.

"Can you forgive me Edison?"

"Start calling me Eddie and we have a deal," he said. Eric held out his hand to shake on it, but instead Eddie hugged him.

"Are you guys coming or what?" Patricia called. Eric put his arm around Eddie and they caught up with the rest of the group.

When they reached the hotel, Victor was standing outside waiting for them.

"Are you going to yell at us and tell us how much trouble we're in?" Eddie asked.

"Please don't be the toothbrush, please don't be the toothbrush," Alfie whispered.

"As a matter of fact...no," Victor said. "I'm here to tell you that I am delaying our departure back to Anubis until tomorrow morning."

"Why the change of heart?" Patricia asked.

"Well we booked our rooms for one more night and they refuse to give me our money back." Victor coughed trying to cover up his lie.

"Or someone realized that we didn't steal anything and it would unfair for us to go home early," Eddie said.

"You may have the rest of the day to yourselves," Victor said. "Now go before I change my mind."

"After what we just went through, I'm ready to sleep for the rest of the day," Alfie said.

"Everyone inside for breakfast," Mr Sweet ordered. Victor stopped Nina on her way in.

"I guess I should say thank you," he said.

"Come again?"

"I have spent many years of my life trying to gain eternal life when I should have been enjoying the time that I've had." Victor took off his ring. "My father hid a tear of gold in this ring. But I have no further need of it now." He handed it to Nina. "I will give this to you for safe keeping. It is your destiny now Chosen One. Protect your Osirion for he is the only one to keep you safe." Nina stared dumbfounded at Victor as he walked inside.

"I'm not sure if I should be shocked or scared that Victor apologized," she said to Fabian.

"This day has just been full of surprises," Fabian said.

At the House, Joy heard a knock on her bedroom door. She had been enjoying being able to sleep in without any early wake up calls from her roommates. So when she heard a knock, she ignored it and tried to go back to sleep. A moment later, there was a knock again.

"Alright, I'm coming!" she said groggily. She opened the door, but no one was there. Joy was about to shut the door when she saw something on the floor. Rose petals. There was a trail of them going down the hall, out the corridor, and downstairs. Joy followed them into the dining hall.

"Trudy, what..." she paused when she saw Mick standing there smiling at her. "What's all this?"

"Would you like some breakfast?" he asked offering her a seat. She slowly sat down.

"What are you up to Mick?" she asked.

"Can't a gentleman make breakfast for a lovely lady?"

"I guess, but you Mick Campbell are no gentleman,"

"Harsh," he said. "But thats okay because you are no lady either."

"Mick, I.."

"No, let me say this first," Mick interrupted. He sat down next to her. Trudy watched from the kitchen. "I know you're mad at me and even though I'm not entirely sure why, I'm sorry."

"I heard you tell Jerome that there was nothing going on between us. I thought there was but obviously I was very wrong."

"Because I was still hung up on Mara. She was happy with Jerome and I couldn't accept that. But I've moved on And you have to. Isn't us time for us both to be happy again?"

"I don't know Mick..." Joy thought. "I've been thinking and I feel like it would be best for me to remain single for a while."

"Did I do something wrong?"

"No, Mick, its not you its me."

"Why does everyone always say that?"

"Mick, I'm serious," Joy said. "Relationship always cause trouble for me and I don't want you to get hurt. I really appreciate you going through all this trouble for me but just give me some space for awhile." She got up and walked out. Mick looked at Trudy for advice. She shrugged.

Jerome came running down the stairs to breakfast.

"Poppy!" he cried wrapping her up in a hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"And why's that?" John asked walking in. "Its not like she's been missing or anything." Sibuna glanced at each other awkwardly.

"No, of course not!" Jerome laughed. "I'm just glad she's feeling better."

"Well in that case, me too!" John said hugging them both.

"Well guys, what should we do tonight?" Jerome asked looking at the others. He was surprised to see Alfie, Amber, Piper, Fabian, Eddie, Patricia, and Nina asleep with their heads on the table. "Guys?"

"Looks like they were partying a bit too much last night," Mara laughed nervously. Poppy nudged her.

Later that evening, they were all eating dinner.

"So guys, its our last night in Egypt, what should we do?" Nina asked.

"Well, I've already shopped at every store in town, so that's out." Amber said.

"Good, because we're banned from pretty much everywhere in town," Patricia said pointing at her and Piper.

"Actually, Fabian and I have somewhere we want to take you guys," Eddie said. Fabian looked confused.

"We do?" he asked. Eddie nudged him. "I mean, yeah, we do. Ready Nina?"

"Sure!" Alfie suddenly pointed at the TV.

"Guys, look!" The news was on. A reporter was talking and behind her people were digging through the pyramid rubble.

"Discovered earlier today, authorities are trying to figure out the cause of this pyramid cave-in. This pyramid is most commonly known as the home of King Tut's tomb and his treasures. Among the rubble, police have found some of these artifacts. So far, none have been reported missing."

"Wow, I wondered how that happened."

"Well guys, we should get going," Eddie said. "We don't want to be late."

"Late for what?" Patricia asked.

"You'll see," Eddie smiled.

"Make sure you're all..." Victor started to say.

"Back before 10 o'clock," the students said together. They all went outside and followed Eddie up the street. Patricia wanted to walk with him, but she wasn't sure if he would talk to her or not. She decided to stay next to her sister.

"Hey sis,"

"He Trixie,"

"Listen, Piper, about what I said in the pyramid. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Piper was quiet. "Look, you know I don't think you're nothing. You're pretty and talented and you know I've always been jealous of you. Please don't be mad at me."

"I'm not mad at you. " Piper said. "And I know you're sorry I just wanted to hear you say it. Plus you never apologize, that's how I know you mean it." Patricia punched her in the arm.

"Ow!" she said. "What was that for?"

"For making me apologize," Patricia punched her again. "And that was for trying to steal Eddie."

"Hey in my defense," Piper said. "You two weren't dating. But it never would have worked out. You're the only one he wants to be with."

"What makes you so sure?"

"Well he confesses his undying love for you in front of everybody."

"Thats only because I was possessed," Patricia said although part of her remembered what he said to her in the pyramid. "I know Eddie, he was just trying to rile me up."

"He was trying to save you, plus you love it when he does that." Piper said.

"So what about you?" Patricia asked trying to keep the subject off of her and Eddie. She didn't want to think about the option of them not getting back together.

"How much trouble do you think you'll be in once Mum and Dad find out you ditched your music camp?"

"Hopefully they'll understand that I don't want to let my entire life to be about music."

"But its what you're good at."

"I spend all of my time practicing and practicing. I want to have fun for once. I want to hang out with friends. I want to spend more time with you. I never see you anymore."

"Well, boarding school kind of prevents me from going home one weekends," Patricia said.

"Which is why I'm going to ask Mum and Dad if I can do my last year at Anubis with you." Piper said. Patricia was quiet for a moment.

"Really?" she asked. "And how are you going to convince them to let you do that?"

"I'll just tell them I want to keep you out of trouble," Patricia laughed.

"You're on!" Patricia laughed.

"We're here!" Eddie said. They walked around a corner to find themselves standing outside a dance. Music was playing, people were dancing in the street and there was food and refreshments.

"Amazeballs!" Alfie ran to the food table. Amber chased after him.

"Actually, I didn't," Eddie said. "Its a friday night, I figured there must be a party somewhere." They all laughed.

"Well, Nina, shall we?" Fabian held out his hand and led Nina out on the dancefloor. Piper went to mingle. Jerome and Mara went to go dance. Patricia hung back. She stood against the wall watching everybody else. Eddie stood a few feet away from her.

"Yacker, what's up?" he asked doing a little dance.

"You know I don't do dances," she said

"I know but how often do you get the chance to crash a party in Egypt? You might as well enjoy it." Patricia stared at him.

"Come on Patricia. Its our last night. Dance with me?"

"You want me to dance with you?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I?"

"You broke up with me remember? I thought you're still mad at me?"

"I was, but I got over it. I told you I was sorry, in the pyramid. I told you how I feel, don't you remember?"

"I thought I did. Its not easy to remember stuff when you're mind is not your own."

"You thought you did?" Eddie was confused.

"When we were in the pyramid, I heard you calling out to me. And I couldn't answer back." Patricia said.

"You heard what I said?" Eddie asked happily.

"I was fighting my hardest against her. I kept fighting for you." Patricia started to cry. Eddie hugged her. "As soon as I left I wanted to come back. I was actually going to beg you to take me back. I love you Eddie." He smiled at her.

"I know," he said. "You never share how you feel so it must be true." And he kissed her. When he pulled away, she punched him in the chest.

"Ow! What was that for?" he asked.

"For making me get all mushy."

"Fair enough," He went to go kiss her again but instead she grabbed his hand and pulled him into the crowd of dancers. Nina and Fabina were still dancing.

"Have you ever noticed that our adventures usually end in a dance?" Nina asked.

"Yeah, I did," Fabian said. "Weird, isn't it?" They laughed. "Well, I don't mind. Just as long as I'm with you." Nina smiled. Fabian went to kiss her but suddenly Amber appeared next to them.

"Guys!" she squealed. "Look what Alfie got me for our one year if we hadn't broken up anniversary," She held out a necklace.

"Its gorgeous!" Nina said.

"Amber? Do you mind?" Fabian asked. Amber stared at them confused for a moment.

"Ohh," she said. "My bad! Carry on you two." She walked back to Alfie.

"Now, where were we?" Fabian asked.

"Right here," Nina said. This time she leaned in to kiss him.

"Guys, its almost 10 o'clock, we better get back to the hotel," Mara said interrupting Nina and Fabian.

"But we just got here!" Nina said a little annoyed.

"Fine, you stay and get in trouble, we're going back," Mara said. "Come on Jerome." She grabbed his hand and they left. Nina sighed and grabbed Fabian's hand.

"Come one." They followed the others away from the party.

"Nina there's something I need to tell you." Fabian said.

"Those words are never good news," Nina said nervously.

"Well, I found in a book talking about how once the bond between the Chosen One and the Osirion is formed, it keeps getting stronger and stronger until they can't be separated."

"Are you saying Eddie and I are meant to be together?" she asked.

"Well, I read it in a book and..."

"You do know you can't believe everything that you read, right Fabes?"

"That's what Eddie said," Fabian said embarrassed. "Its just that you two started to get so close and we found out you could read each others minds I got worried." Fabian said. "I thought you would rather date him than me." Nina laughed.

"Fabian Rutter, are you being serious right now?"

"100%"

"Eddie is my protector. You are my boyfriend."

"But he does a better job at protecting you than me. I mean, I couldn't stopped the spirit from taking you." Nina put her finger on his mouth.

"You talk to much," she said. And she kissed him.

"Alright, you've got me convinced."

"Besides, I'd have to deal with Patricia if I ever ended up with Eddie," Nina said.

"You got that right," Patricia said. "Most likely you'd end up with something much worse that water all over you."

"Well Patricia, you've gone almost an entire day without pouring some sort of liquid on someone," Fabian said.

"The nights still young," Patricia said. They all laughed.

Joy was in the living room finishing something for the jackal. Trudy was allowing her to stay up a little longer. Mick was standing in the kitchen watching her. He knew she wanted space, but this would be his last attempt to win her over.

"I know you're there Mick," Joy said without turning around. "What is it?" Mick cleared his throat.

"Well, I wanted to give you this," he held out an envelope. "I know you want me to leave you alone but I can't stop thinking about you." He set it on the table and went to leave the room.

"If you want to talk I'm going for a run before everyone gets back." He walked out. Joy stared at the letter for a moment before picking it up.

Joy,

I'm not good at saying how I feel about someone in person so its best for me to tell you on paper. I'm sorry for what I said to Jerome. I wish I could take it back and not just because you heard, but because I couldn't see what was in front of me. You. You were helping me train, you were running with me, you were there to talk. And I pushed you aside and for what? For someone who wasn't even interested in me anymore. You deserve someone better than that, someone who treats you right. I want to be that someone. I'm sorry for what I did. If you can forgive me, well you know where to find me.

Joy didn't get much sleep that night. She just tossed and turned, thinking.

Mick stood in the front hall the next morning stretching. He was waiting for Joy but she hadn't come down.

"No Joy?" Trudy asked. Mick shook his head.

"Well, you've done everything you could, love. Now you better go run. I'm expecting everyone early and I need help setting up." Mick reluctantly went outside not really in a running mood now.

"What took you so long?" Joy stood on the front lawn stretching. Mick stood there quiet and shocked. "I thought we had a race to re-do?"

"We do?" Mick asked confused.

"Whats the matter?" Joy asked. "You afraid I'm going to beat you again?"

"Last one to the library has to clean the guys bathroom." Mick said.

"You're on!" Joy said. She took off running.

"Hey, no cheating!" he said running after her. Joy beat him to the library. They stopped to catch their breath.

"I win!"

"Only because you had a head start!"

"You're just mad because I won,"

"No, because I'm going to beat you back to the house," Mick said. "Just let me catch my breath." They were quiet for a moment as they stretched. Mick looked at something behind Joy. "What's that?" When Joy looked to see what he was talking about, Mick took off running.

"Hey!" she ran after Mick. "No fair!" He beat her back to the house. They stopped inside the door to catch their breath again.

"Can we call it even now?" Mick asked.

"Not even close!" Joy said.

"Same time tomorrow?"

"You're on!"

"I'll get us some water," He headed for the kitchen. Joy caught a glimpse of the morning paper sitting next to the phone. She normally got her new from the web, but the main headline caught her eye.

Missing Artifact Found in Pyramid Rubble

Below was a photo of the cup of Ankh. She began to read the article. Mick came back out and she hid it behind her back.

"Whatcha got there?" he asked.

"Oh nothing, just the paper."

"Since when do you read the paper?"

"A journalist has to keep up with the lastest stories," Joy said.

"Well, what is the latest story?" Mick asked looking at the paper. Joy put it behind her back.

"Nothing! I mean, uh, nothing you would find interesting," Mick tried to grab it from her playfully. She put it above her head. When he tried to get it, he got really close to her face. Mick leaned in and kissed her. He pulled away suddenly, unsure if he went to far.

"Sorry," he mumbled. Joy took his hand.

"Don't be," she said. She kissed him and this time they stayed that way for a moment. They were so busy they didn't hear the front door open. Jerome and Mara walked in first. Jerome, surprised, dropped Mara's suitcase. Mick and Joy jumped apart.

"Well hello," Jerome said.

"Uh...hey, guys! When did you get back?" Joy asked.

"Just now..." Mara said happily. "When did this happen?" She pointed at them.

"Just now..." Mick said.

"Well, I'm happy for you guys," Mara said.

"Mara, I'm sorry for the whole making you choose between and Jerome. You deserve to be happy."

"Don't worry about it. Its okay. Oh, and heads up, if you hurt Joy, you will have to answer to me, got it?"

"Crystal clear," Mick said a little scared. Mara and Jerome made their way into the living room. Amber and Alfie came in, Eddie, Patricia, Fabian, and Nina were behind them.

"Well, what do we have here?" Amber asked.

"Amber Millington you are so dead!" Joy said.

"Your welcome," Amber said. Joy smiled.

"I don't think I need to tell you what I will do to you if you hurt my best friend, do I?" Patricia told Mick.

"No, uh, Mara already covered that," he said.

"Well, whatever she does to you, I'll make sure its ten times worse," Patricia smiled. They all knew she wasn't joking.

"Uh, Mick, why don't you go in the living room," Joy said. "I'll be in in a minute." Mick did.

"Alright, spill," Joy said. "What happened in Egypt since none of you cared to keep me in the loop."

"Looks like you were otherwise occupied," Alfie said.

"Well thanks to Amber, nothing would have happened," Joy said. "So tell me, what did you guys do?"

"Nothing really," Eddie said.

"Doesn't look like nothing," Joy said showing them the paper. Nina took it.

After being missing for several years, the Cup of Ankh, was mysteriously discovered amongst the rubble of a pyramid afters its cave in. The cup disappeared from the pyramid after grave robber raided the tomb. Police are baffled at how the cup ended up back in the tomb.

"You guys destroyed a pyramid?" Joy exclaimed.

"Shhh..." Fabian said. "We're the only ones who were there when it happened."

"And Victor"

"And Mr Sweet,"

"What else happened while I wasn't there?" Joy asked crossing her arms.

"Well Mara knows about everything," Patricia said.

"And Jerome."

"And Piper,"

"Wow, I really did miss out on a lot,"

"Patricia stole from a museum," Alfie said.

"I was possessed."

"And she framed her sister," Fabian said.

"Uh, hello, I was possessed,"

"And she almost sacrificed herself to release spirits."

"Did I mention I was possessed?"

"Well, even though I miss out on everything, I'm glad you guys are all safe." Joy said. "I'll just have to catch the next world saving adventure."

"Hopefully, there won't be another time. The cup is back where it belongs."

"Sibuna saves the world again!" Amber said.

"Sibuna!" they all say together. Trudy poked her head into the hall.

"You guys might want to get in here. Mick's eating all the blueberry muffins." she said.

"Excuse me, coming through!" Alfie called pushing through everyone.

For once, everything seemed normal in Anubis House.

Or almost normal.

What did Nina do with the ring?

Author's Note: So there you are, after a year and a half, my completed House of Anubis story. Thank you all for reading and for all your awesome and encouraging comments. They have made writing this much more exciting. And before you all start asking, I will NOT be doing a part 2/book 2. It would just be too much for me right now. Although I will be starting something new soon. Follow me on twitter kdanee2011 or ss_sibuna for any upcoming updates.

Now before I put this to an official ending, I have a question. In the final chapter, I was going to have someone die but I didn't want to have to write in a funeral and all that. However, if I get enough requests, I am willing to do an alternative ending of this chapter where someone did die. If I did that, who would you want to see die? Fabian or Eddie? Its up to you.

Sibuna!
