Summary: Near the end of The Mark of Athena, Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus. This is my take on what would kinda go through their minds as they are falling.

Third Person Pov:

Falling into Tartarus, a near endless dark black hole that harbored all of Percy's fears.

He knew that he would go insane in this horrible place if not for the beautiful angel of hope he had beside him, falling beside him, holding him was Annabeth, his angel of hope.

He knew that if he had Annabeth with him, he could weather all storms and go through everything with her, he would fight Kronos*, Hyperion and any other Titan, God or monster that would come between him and Annabeth.

Annabeth, she fell through the world, with the boy, no the man that she fell in love with and down she went with the love of her life and her soulmate into the dark pit of Tartarus.

She will stay alive, for her friends, for her family and most of all for the love of her life, her angel of hope Percy.

They both would try to stay sane, to remember that they would be fighting to help save the rest of the mortal world from Gaea* and it would be difficult, near impossible even.

However Percy and Annabeth had done impossible more than once before and would do so again and again until their time up as heroes end.

Percy and Annabeth could find comfort in each other and tell each other secrets that others cannot know, they laugh with each other, they love each other, their adventures started when they were 12 and both were quite irritated by the other to the point of trying to kill each other, but all of these feelings turned into love and fondness for each other when they all were but grown up.

And now when they both need each other the most, they are there for each other and will always be there for each other. Now and forever.

After all, hope survives best at the hearth and Annabeth and Percy remind each other that both of them must survive and return to their home, their hearth.

AN: So what do you people think about this little story that I cooked up? It is short and it is not long enough for my tastes but I did what I could, and considering that this came out in a few minutes is a little impressive to myself. But tell me in the comments about what you think, Ok my dear readers?

Yeah Percy got a more in depth feel to his thoughts, but only because I seem to have a gist of how Percy would feel. Not sure about Annabeth and I would love to have a person who could help me with her way of thinking to help me figure her character out in a situation like this.

Sorry for the long AN but it is my first story and I do ramble on for a long time. See you guys when I manage to figure out another story.

PS: Is it Gaia or Gaea? And also is it, Kronos or Cronus? I can't really figure out which is the correct one.
