(Curtis's Pov)

Clouds. Black clouds. The sky was filled with them in every corner. I was standing in the center of a clearing-I think- there was too much darkness around me to be certain.

"So you are the one." The voice was ripe with wisdom and age.

I looked around for the owner of the voice but my eyes were met only with darkness. Suddenly a large cocoon twelve times the size of me appeared in front of my eyes, wiggling ever so slightly.

"Elise." My voice was a whisper, fearful and confused.

The cocoon, upon me whispering Elise's name, started to thrash around sporadically before outright busting open. I shielded myself from the flying bits of webbing, my eyes widening in disbelief at what I saw.

Standing before me was an immense and grotesque-by the definition of the word-monster that I could only compare to a spider. Of its multiple limbs I could see a sick green coating them, the same green liquid oozing out of the foul creatures maw. Among the pair of limbs that I could only imagine we're its arms, were two abnormally large limbs that seemed to be larger in length then the creatures body itself.

The creature roared a bone chilling roar before clicking its limbs at me.

"Simple prey." The mysterious voice returned from silence. I dared not take my eyes off of the monster for in fear that I would cease to exist.

"I am Vilemaw prey."

As the words whisked across the air, I ultimately concluded that it was the monster before me that was speaking as its maw seemed to open as the words were spoken.

"Are you-

"You are my prey. That is the only thing you need to know. The only thing you need to do, is let my daughter guide you to my Maw!" He bellowed with a deep chuckle.

"Enough father!"

I felt fear strike my blood as something large wrapped around me, engulfing me. I tried to wiggle free and was on the verge of using my powers when I heard Elise's voice.

"It's ok," she said softly.

I stopped my struggling, and at the same time the darkness that blanketed my vision pulled away, revealing me at eye level at a distance from Vilemaw. I looked behind me and I didn't know whether to laugh or be afraid.

Standing with me in her palm was none other than a gigantic Elise In her true human form. Her blood red eyes weren't looking at me, they were looking at the beast. I've never seen her eyes' filled with so much hate and disgust.

"Elise what's going on?" The worry that trickled in my voice was easily detectable, and for good reason.

"I've told you my daughter, the prey will be mine! I shall feast on the power he holds within!"

This was her father?

I didn't know what to say or what to do, merely complying as Elise lifted me to her shoulder.

"Stay," she commanded silently, her beautiful red eyes focused on me. If we were in a different situation I might've been turned on at the moment.

"Trust me I'm not going anywhere," I replied with a laugh. In truth I was scared out of my wits but somehow having Elise by my side gave me comfort - Or being on her shoulder I should say.

"I told you he was off-limits and then you invade his mind," Elise said, her voice filled with obvious venom.

Was all of this in my head? It would certainly explain a couple of things but it all just seemed to create even more questions.

"You seemed to think you can make your own choices". He chuckled a low chuckle, his claws clicking as well. "It is my blood that gives you immortality girl."

Another chuckle could be heard but this time it was from Elise herself.

"I was going to surprise you when I came to visit. Father," she said the particular word with disgust and obvious malice," but I think now would suffice."

I didn't have any idea of what was going on as Elise gestured her left hand towards me.

"My lover's blood has the same properties as yours, which means I need be your puppet no longer. Father," she stated with finality.

"Elise..." I didn't know what to say. On one hand I was ecstatic that she called me her lover, but on the other hand more questions surfaced. What did she mean by my blood had the same properties as his?

The creature known as Vilemaw went silent, his limbs flexing ever so slightly. I couldn't tell if the beast was angry or just thinking.

Somehow I felt that he was angry.

"Curtis...was it?" The creature said politely. I would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised by his tone.

"Yea?" I said quietly, sure that he couldn't have heard me from the immense distance we were from each other.

But I was wrong.

"Do you think you are special Curtis? Did Elise tell you that you were her 'one and only'," he said with a light chuckle that irritated me to no end.

"That's none of your business!" I yelled agitatedly.

The creature crossed its limbs in a perplexing manor.

"I meant no disrespect, I just wanted to enlighten you on her lies."

My breath hitched. Elise wouldn't lie to me? Not after all we've been through. Right?

"Oh yes. You are not the first man that Elise has claimed that she loved, nor will you be the last..."

"I pity you father," Elise interjected." I guess desperation is bred when you finally figured out you lost. "

"Curtis. Did she ever tell you what she did with her countless other lover's?"

The creature's mouth dripped green ooze as its words reached me.

"She killed them and feasted on their corpse of course," he laughed. "You remember that one young lad right my daughter?"

I spared a glance towards Elise, but I saw no emotion, her face was stone cold.

"Why so quiet now, my daughter." The creatures shifted into a position more comfortably, laying on his underbelly." I thought since he was the one you had told him all your dirty secrets."

"Elise?" I whispered softly.

No response.

"Elise-" I started, only to be silenced with the woman I loved gesturing for me to be quiet.

"All I'm saying Curtis, is that the thing beside you is no woman. It is as much of a monster as I. How could you ever expect to love someone who is so easily willing to kill you at a moment's notice?"

Silence filled the air as my thoughts raced. Who was I supposed to believe? Of course I automatically turned to Elise, but when I thought about it, how much did I really know about her.

Nothing.

I knew next to nothing about the woman next to me. Yet I supposedly loved her? My heart sunk as the realization dawned upon me that he might've been right. What If-

"Curtis." Her voice poked at me, the worry in her voice prominent.

Or false worry.

"Curtis really?" I could hear a sweet giggle from her, something that surprised me. She lifted me from her shoulder and sat down, causing the floor-darkness- to scatter leaving only grass in its wake.

"If you would be so kind as to wake up love, I'd kindly appreciate it," she asked me politely.

"Why? Are you afraid of him telling your secrets to me?" I yelled angrily. I was angry. Angry at potentially being lied to and used.

"No, I'm not in the slightest," she said softly, "Because what he said was true. "The way she spoke, she had to be joking right? She was supposed to say it wasn't true.

"What-what the fuck!" My voice came out jagged and pathetic, but I didn't care.

I wanted to wake up from this nightmare.

But I just woke up into another one.

My eyes snapped open, my lungs being filling with air as if I'd been drowning. I sat up, only to be forced back down onto the rollout bed by the woman at my side.

Elise.

"Curtis, calm down-

"E-Elise I-I," I didn't know what was going on. Everything around me seemed like a blur.

'Smack.'

My left cheek stung as my whole body froze. My eyes found a horrendous sight.

Elise, my master and love, was crying. I didn't know what to or say so I did nothing.

I was good at that.

"Look at me," she laughed softly." I must look like a complete wreck right now huh?" She asked me with a sad smile.

Despite everything I've heard about Elise, despite my lingering anger, I pulled her into a hug. I found somewhat relief in being with her and that was enough reason for me to embrace her.

It was awhile before either of us spoke, I holding her while she weep silently in my chest. I stroked her back in comfort as she was now reduced to sniffles, the last of her weeping fading away.

"I didn't want you to find out, "was all she mumbled as she burrowed herself deeper into my chest, her hands grabbing more handfuls of my shirt.

"It's...its ok Elise," I whispered softly to her, kissing her bed of red hair.

"I'm sorry Curtis, I ne-"

This time it was my turn to calm her down.

"Shhhhh," I whispered gently. "We can talk about it later."

She complied, snuggling herself in my arms before becoming silent. I thought she had fallen asleep, until I heard her whisper.

"Curtis?"

"Yes Elise?" I answered back nicely.

"Do you still love me?"

I didn't hesitate with my answer.

"Of course, Elise. Were just going to have to talk about a few things tomorrow ok?"

I wondered what she would have done if I had said no.

"Thank god. "She sighed relief.

"Elise can you answer one question. You didn't ...literally eat your lovers did you?"

"Oh god no! " she moaned in disgust. "Did you think that's what my father meant-?

"I don't know Elise you didn't really say anything!" I complained.

"I just sucked their blood Curt. Nothing more nothing less. The only reason I killed them in the first place was because they betrayed my trust in them. You have nothing to worry about Curtis, trust me." She said with finality. I didn't press on judging from her tone, so I merely kissed her bed of red hair once more and left her alone.

"Good night love," I coed to her gently.

I didn't get a reply a back for a while, and for a moment I thought she had fallen asleep, but then I heard the faintest of whispers.

"Good night love."

This time, I actually was at peace in my dreams. I dreamed I was in a clear field, nothing but grass and clear blue sky's as far as the eye could see. Standing to my right to me in a pure white dress was Elise, a soft smile on her face. To my right my beautiful Ahri in a yellow sundress. Everything seemed perfect.

That's how I knew it was all a dream.

My eyes cracked open, adjusting to the little light that seemed to seep through the tent.

I looked down and saw Elise, still sleeping soundly on my chest. The smile on her lips told me that she was having a good dream.

Who was I to wake her from that?

I drifted into my thoughts, wondering about what Elise had done in her past. She had told me at the start that she was no saint, but I never expected it to such an extent. Doubt piled upon doubt and not too long my mind was swimming with "what ifs".

"Mhmm," Elise purred in her sleep, her leg rubbing up and down my thigh. Despite everything I couldn't help but be turned on, my groin starting take notice as well. A rogue hand found its way to her ass, kneading the soft flesh. I smiled as she purred at my touch.

"She killed them and feasted on their corpse."

The dark thought stopped my actions complete.

Elise must've either noticed in her sleep or just woke up as she coed to me gently.

"Why'd you stop?"

A smiled graced her red lips as she looked up at me, a glimmer in her eye.

Acting as if nothing happened.

"Elise..."

She sighed tiredly before sitting up on my chest, her left hand trailing up to my chin.

"I couldn't kill you Curtis," she began, a smile on her lips." I can see and feel the doubt from you, so please, ask away."

"Well I mean, I'm kind of worried that you might kill me if I fuck up! I want to trust my love for you but I don't know hardly anything about you!" I practically fumed.

"Curtis I could never kill you," she replied softly again as she drew circles in my chest. "You're literally my everything now. I renounced my duty to my father for you. I simply cannot live without you," she finished sweetly.

I didn't know what to say, but I felt a lot better about everything between us. She must've known because that ever seductive smirk on her lips told me so.

"I love you," she said as she leaned forward and started nibbling on my neck. "I love peaches and I love the color pink. I love the taste of blood, particularly yours..."

Elise went into detail about everything she liked, disliked, and so forth for god knows how long but I didn't mind. I loved every minute of it. It felt good to know about the woman in my arms.

"Satisfied, my darling?" She cooed. The way the words rolled off her tongue sent shivers of excitement through me, and the way she straddled me didn't help me.

"Yea...yea I think I am," I said with a smile.

That ever alluring giggle of hers graced my ears as she stroked my cheek lovingly.

"What's with that giggle huh?" My voice was husk, my lust becoming apparent.

"I don't want this moment to end is all, "she whispered breathlessly before capturing my lips in a slow kiss. Her tongue teased at my lips, silently asking for entrance to which I kindly obliged. As our tongues danced her hands traveled south, sending chills down my stomach before she stopped at my belt.

This time it was my turn to tease her, replacing my hands on her back before flipping us over. She let out a small mix of a giggle and a yelp as she broke our kiss, her beautiful red eyes gazing into mine with a certain twinkle that was mine only. Even though I would have simply been happy with the way things were at the moment I wanted to see the Elise only I could see. I wanted to see her true beauty, the crimson eyes that only I was allowed to gaze upon. The red black lips only I could kiss.

"Elise," I whispered lustfully as I placed my forehead upon hers in hopes of focusing from ravaging her right there." I want to see my Elise, the one only I can see."

I didn't get an answer, but I could feel magic underneath me, along with multiple foreign touches graze my back. I pulled back, opening my eyes to find my beautiful and exotic master Elise in her true form and nude for only me to see.

Her crimson eyes looked up at me expectantly, a small blush on her face as she wrapped all of her arms around me in a spider-esk Hug.

"You're beautiful," I whispered breathlessly as I honestly couldn't think of anything else to say. Her pale flawless skin, that heavenly peach aroma that wafted from her, it was mind numbing to say the least.

"Elise!"

I wanted to growl in annoyance, and for a spilt of a second I wanted to murder the owner of the voice: David.

Elise quickly shifted our positions, retracting her extra limbs from around me, the limbs resting at her sides. She gave me a quick peck on the lips before returning to her completely human form, much to my displeasure.

"Shhh." She motioned for me to stay put before she took a deep breath and conjured up her normal attire, a black slim coat along with slim pants.

As she made her exit I gave her a quick slap on her ass, eliciting a nice yelp from her.

"Naughty boy," is all she said before unfortunately making her way out the tent.

I soon followed suit, throwing on my black coat along with my black pants. I rolled up the rollout bed and turned off the lantern before tossing them in the dimensional bag Elise had given to me. After everything was packed and orderly I finally made my way out the tent.

"Dam," I murmured as the sun's rays hit me smack dab in the face. I had to give my eyes a minute to readjust.

"Good morning Curtis,"

Daniel's- or should I say Faora's- voice tugged at my mind gently. I turned to my right and laid eyes upon the pale woman. Her robe clung to her body, emphasizing her endowment quite nicely.

I made sure not to think that publicly of course.

"Good morning Faora," I replied nicely.

Everyone seemed to be just waking up, yawns and slack faces galore. Daniel and Dexter had their stuff packed already, their bags sat on the ground as they waited for everyone else I guess. My eyes turned towards David, who was currently talking towards Elise about something. She didn't look particularly interested. I decided to leave them be, instead taking a seat next to Faora. She stiffened for only a moment before relaxing at my presence.

"Did you sleep well?" She asked me curiously. She must've knew about my nightmare because I could hear faintly the worry in her question.

"Well enough." I shuffled a bit and glanced around, feeling uneasy at the attention I was getting from Faora.

Thankfully Faora deceased with her questions, instead merely looking around casually.

My eyes lazily traveled around until they landed on one of the other only 3 woman of the group, Miranda. She was currently trying to rewrap her tent but it was painfully obvious that she had obviously no idea what she was doing. I waited for anyone to offer her help and surprisingly no one did.

I thought they were all supposed to be brothers and sisters or something?

I sighed quietly before standing up and making my way towards her. I caught a few glimpses but I simply continued to the troubled woman.

"Need some help Miranda?" I asked respectfully. I knew little to nothing about this woman, so it was little to no risk offering my help with the utmost respect.

"No, I've almost-,"

As soon as the last word left her mouth the tent snapped out of hands and back into a sleep-able tent. She sighed before turning towards me, a horrible expression of anger on her face.

"Some...help would be appreciated," she snarled through gritted teeth and a half-assed smile.

Oh, so she was that kind of woman.

"There's nothing wrong with seeking help occasionally," I admitted softly while I began to break down the tent.

"Yea while I appreciate your help, I'm sure I was certainly capable of breaking down this simple contraption eventually," she rebuked in a rude tone.

"Eventually," I repeated a little tease-fully, just a little, much to her chagrin. "There ya go," I smiled, standing up and dusting off the invisible dust off my hands.

She mumbled a "thank you" before packing the tent into her bag and taking a seat next to Faora. Behind the thin veil of her black hair, I could see her blue eyes look at me with...curiosity? I couldn't really confirm the notion because an Elise had called everyone to gather around.

"Is everyone packed up ready and to go?" She asked nicely.

The majority of us nodded yes except for David, who had a somewhat sour expression.

I quirked a brow in his direction, but nothing more.

"Are we not going to eat breakfast?" He asked rather bluntly, might I add rudely.

"You have power bars, do you not? "She shot back skeptically.

"Yes Ma'am," David grumbled lowly. I couldn't help but let loose a slight chuckle at his expense.

I watched as Elise pulled out a mysterious small black book, checking its contents while we all gave her curious looks. After a few moments she had finally spoke, her voice crisp and clear.

"Well now that everyone's ready...all of you should head back."

Umm…excuse me?" of course David would be the first to respond to her strange request but at this I couldn't harp on him. I was just as curious as well.

"I will not repeat myself. You all excluding Curtis will return to the way we have traveled. You all have outlived your usefulness as of now." She closed her black book before slipping it back into her coat and sighed tiredly as everyone just stood in silence.

"May we ask-

"No you may not," Elise interrupted Miranda solemnly.

I was mildly surprised to find Dexter already making his way back from which we had come. No questions at all huh?

One by one-including Faora- they all started to gather the way we had come, all except for David. He stood there in with a weak look of anger and denial on his face. Elise noticed this too as her eyes were staring fiercely at him.

"Is there something you would like to share David?" Elise's tone was nothing but filled with annoyance.

"I'm not moving another inch until you tell me what's going!" he growled. I couldn't help but laugh inwardly, it was comical to say the least watching this man who was closer akin to a child catch an attitude.

Oh enough with this," Elise murmured before webs surrounded her. Everyone looked in a mix of awe and fear except for me and Faora of course. I myself wasn't afraid but I was just as curious as to why Elise was transforming in front of her servant but I remained silent nonetheless.

Not too long Elise stood in front of us in her true form, a beautiful mix of black and red. As her eyes met mine I saw a twinkle in them for only a moment before they were turned to the rest of the group.

"All of you must leave now," She sighed tiredly," I had planned on using you all as bait for when I killed my father but my plans have changed as all of your usefulness. So that's why I'm asking nicely once again…to leave," she finished darkly.

"You're a fucking monster!" David screamed hoarsely.

"Such a fucking bitch," I muttered to no one in particular, though I elicited a small giggle from Faora. I could also see a small smirk on Elise's face.

David snarled in anger before stomping his feet and yelling curses all the while walking back the way we had come.

All of the others had stood by looking somewhat… hurt. I glanced at Elise and I saw an emotion that surprised me…sadness. I watched in silence as she stepped towards the group, stopping shortly as Miranda took a small step back, probably out of fear. My eyes widen as Elise bowed lowly before speaking in a sincere voice.

"I am sorry for misleading all of you."

Her once faithful followers looked at her with a mixture of emotions- mostly negative ones- before they all walked away slowly. I met eyes with Faora before nodding for her to go with them. After everyone was a good bit away from us I heard Elise let out a breath of relief.

"This…Doing the right thing is quite troublesome," she admitted.

I quirked a brow but didn't comment at her statement, trying to enjoy the presence of no one else but us. I looked towards where they had walked off to, their bodies becoming smaller in the distance. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"Well were finally alone now huh?" I laughed a bit tiredly.

I didn't get a reply.

"Elise," I murmured as I turned around.

My blood went cold.
