Hi guys, welcome to my new story "Clashing of the Titans." The storyline is basically in the title, it's a crossover with Assassin's Creed and Doctor Who. I will be using Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Enjoy ;)
The sun was setting over Venice, or Venezia, as the locals called it. On the streets the dull roar of Carnevale could be heard, coupled with the odd bang of fireworks. To the untrained eye, there was nothing wrong with this picture. However, someone had died tonight. The silence of the rooftops was interrupted by the sound of feet running quietly.
Ezio Auditore ran as fast as his legs would carry him, blood dripping down his wrist. It wasn't his own blood, it was an evil man's blood. A man whose blood deserved to be spilled. He breathed a sigh of relief as the guards that were chasing him began to slow down.
He ran to the edge of the rooftop and glanced over his shoulder, the guards may have slowed down, but they were still chasing him. He turned back to the edge of the rooftop, below him was a crowded town square, lights and carnival games were everywhere. Ezio closed his eyes and ran off the edge of the rooftop.
He landed softly in a crate of hay and leaves, he waited for the guards to run past him before jumping back out and slipping on a carnival mask. He smiled to himself and walked confidently through the crowds.
He left the crowded square and cut down a back alley, looking over his shoulder frequently before walking in the grand doors of the palazzo in front of him.
The thieves had taken over the palazzo and renamed it "Palazzo dei ladri" or "Palace of the thieves". This made it easy for Ezio to have a safehouse in Venice, which he sorely needed. Plus, he enjoyed working with the thieves. Their leader, Antonio and him had much in common, and Ezio always found it enjoyable to make a visit to Rosa, a thief who he saved.
"I trust everything went well?" a soft voice came from behind him, he cracked a smirk and turned round to face Rosa, who was still in crutches.
"Of course" he smiled and pulled her into a hug.
"Have you made some kind of new machine?" he asked, pulling back from the hug but keeping his hands on her waist.
"No that I know of, why?" she asked.
"Then, what is that noise?"
He turned round to see a blue box flashing in time to a whooshing sound. Rosa ducked behind him, gripping his shoulders. Ezio raised his arm to cover his eyes as the box materialised in front of him.
"What is that Ezio?" Rosa whispered in his ear.
"I do not know..." he replied, walking towards it.
Rosa grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Don't you dare!" she warned.
The door of the box swung open and a man stepped out. A man dressed in a suit and bowtie. "15th century Venice!" he exclaimed, before facing Ezio and Rosa.
"Buonasera" he smiled at them.
There you go guys, a taster chapter of my new crossover yay! If you haven't read the prequel, I suggest you do, but it's not necessary. It's called Start of Something New.
