Hi guys! This is officially the last chapter of Austin and Ally: Young Edition. After I post this chapter, this story's status will be changed to Complete. Let that sink in.

I will accept reviews on how sad it is that the story is ending.

"What did I ever do to you?"

They were currently in the school auditorium, on the stage. Austin was setting up a mike, and Ally was sitting on a stool.

"Ally, I know you have stage fright, but I need you to do this." Ally frowned and crossed her arms.

"Please? Do it for the school. Do it for Trish." He looked deep into her eyes. "Do it for me."

Ally bit her lip. You could tell she was considering this. He stuck his bottom lip out, tilted his head, and looked at Ally.

"Please?"

"Fine. You know I can't resist the puppy-dog look!" she laughed, ruffling his hair.

Austin's phone rang. "Hello?"

"Austin, its Trish. Everyone's coming to the auditorium."

"Sweet, thanks. So, uh, how did you get everyone to come?"

"I told everyone that there was a missing diamond necklace in the auditorium and whoever finds it gets a million dollars."

". . . Alrighty then. Bye." He hung up and turned around to face Ally, who was starting to hyper-ventilate.

"Ally, stop worrying! You're super-talented. Trust me. Everyone will love it."

"But, what if I mess up? You know me!" she cried, putting her head in her hands.

"You're right. I do know you. So I know you won't mess up."

She smiled at him. "Thanks Austin."

They turned around to the sound of the auditorium door opening, and thousands of students starting to pile in. Austin gave one more assuring nod to Ally, and then grabbed the mike.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I know the dance was cancelled because there's no music, but there is music! We're going to have live music!" the whole crowd cheered.

"Where is it, behind the brunette?"

"Uh, no, the brunette is the live music."

"Oh. Okay, then."

He put the mike back on the stand and mouthed you can do this to Ally and got off the stage.

Ally took a deep breath. She knew she couldn't worry now. Even though this was the first time she was performing ever since kindergarten, she knew she had to do this. So she took a deep breath and sang.

I remember when we broke up the first time
Saying, "This is it, I've had enough," 'cause like
We hadn't seen each other in a month
When you said you needed space. (What?)
Then you come around again and say
"Baby, I miss you and I swear I'm gonna change, trust me."
Remember how that lasted for a day?
I say, "I hate you," we break up, you call me, "I love you."

Ooh, we called it off again last night
But ooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you

We are never ever ever getting back together,
We are never ever ever getting back together,
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together

Like, ever...

I'm really gonna miss you picking fights
And me falling for it screaming that I'm right
And you would hide away and find your peace of mind
With some indie record that's much cooler than mine

Ooh, you called me up again tonight
But ooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you

We are never, ever, ever getting back together
We are never, ever, ever getting back together
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me (talk to me)
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together

Ooh, yeah, ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Oh oh oh

I used to think that we were forever ever
And I used to say, "Never say never..."
Uggg... so he calls me up and he's like, "I still love you,"
And I'm like... "I just... I mean this is exhausting, you know, like,
We are never getting back together. Like, ever"

No!

We are never ever ever getting back together
We are never ever ever getting back together
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together

We, ooh, getting back together, ohhh,
We, ooh, getting back together

You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together

Her ears were deafened by the sound of enthusiastic applause. They liked it! She thought with a smile. They really liked it!

Ally got off the stage. "Ally, you did it!" Austin exclaimed, hugging Ally.

"Yeah! I can't believe I conquered my stage fright!"

"I can't believe it either! I am so proud of you Ally!"

"Thanks Austin. But I couldn't have done it without you."

So he leaned in, wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her.

Yes you heard correctly. He kissed her.

The joy they felt was, well, frankly, inexpressible.

But one's thing's for sure.

He kissed her.

They broke apart from the kiss, cheeks pink. Austin cleared his throat.

"Right. Uh . . . I'm gonna, um, get some punch." He walked away, accidentally bumping into Trish. "Sorry!"

"Okay . . . Ally congrats! I can't believe this!"

"I know! I'll never be afraid to stand in front of crowds again!"

"No, no that! You just kissed Austin!"

She blushed. "You saw that?"

"Yes I did! So, you two are a couple now, right?"

Ally beamed. "I guess we are."

"Hey! I found the diamond necklace!"

Austin ran up to them. "Anyone got a million dollars?"

"Nope."

"Run!"

Well, that's it, I guess. By the way, can you believe even though school starts on the 16th of September, I'm supposed to give up all my games tomorrow night? (That's the same time in the UK, I think.) that means I can't write again until December! How unfair is that?

Again, this is the last chapter, so this story is officially OVER! I might write a sequel, but you never know!

Farewell! I'll miss you!
