Deep Space

I stand on the deck in the void of deep space,

And yet my frame does not feel cold.

My flight suit, the stars, the glow of Vega,

I just stand and watch things unfold.

Deep in Kurasawa, beset by vanduul,

From our homeworlds we are all far.

And yet I don't feel cold, nor feel alone,

Because I'm bathed in the light of the stars.

Space looks the same, there's no proper sun,

No atmosphere filtering rays.

But way out here, in the depths of space,

I'm content to spend all my days.
