"Twilight, will you hurry up and come to bed," Trixie screams down the steps to her girlfriend. "It's past midnight and I'm tired, so hurry up!"

"You can go to sleep without me, Trixie," Twilight shouts back to Trixie. "I'll be up in a few minutes."

"But," Trixie whines, "I want to cuddle and I can't do that if you're down there." She huffs loudly through her mouth, causing her lips to vibrate. She shifts so she's lying on her side, her hoof pressed against the side of her head. "Now hurry up."

"I said I would be up there in a minute," Twilight says, huffing, "I need to finish alphabetizing my books."

Groaning, Trixie rolls onto her stomach and pushes up and jumps off the bed. Quickly, she makes her way down the stairs to find a scattered mess of books all over the floor—a mess of books that wasn't there when she went upstairs an hours earlier.

"Twilight, what are you doing?! Those books were not there when I went upstairs!"

Twilight turns and glances around the room before looking at Trixie. She shrugs. "I had to take them off the shelf to reorganize them, Trixie. I can't leave them on the shelf to do that; that doesn't make any sense." She shrugs again and turns away to continue stacking books that begin with B—so far there's fifty-six, with a couple dozen left to go.

Rolling her eyes, Trixie braces herself and leans her head forward. A blast of magic from her horn finds all the books scattered on the floor in the air. Twilight quickly notices and goes wide-eyed, turning back to Trixie. Her own blast of magic tries to pull them away from Trixie so she can put them back in the scattered havoc she had them in.

"Let go of my books!"

"Not until you promise to put them back on the shelf and come to bed."

"But I have to alphabetize them!"

"Now you don't! It doesn't matter! No one but Rainbow Dash comes to this library, anyway, and this is the third time in a month you've reorganized them!" With a grunt, Trixie takes a step back to pull the books away from Twilight. Twilight retaliates by doing the same. "Put them down!"

"No! You put them down!"

With both of them screaming, the magical force gets greater and stronger until all the books go flying, breaking and knocking down everything in the library. The books fall to the ground like hail, and Twilight gasps, galloping around the room in a failing attempt to gather up all the books.

When she's unable to catch more than two, she lets out a groan and turns to Trixie, narrowing her eyes. Growling, she practically charges at Trixie, knocking them both to the ground so that Twilight is on to of Trixie, her arms and legs wrapped around her.

"Why would you do that?!" Twilight nearly hisses. "Why would you ruin the organization I had, Trixie?!"

Trixie laughs. "Oh, really now? Organization? Twilight, those books were far from organized. It was a scattered mess. If you ask me," she says and shifts slightly, "I made it better."

Twilight narrows her eyes even more so.

"Oh, stop," Trixie says and lifts her head to rub her nose against Twilight's. "I'll help you pick them up later." She wraps her arms around her and pulls her down against her. They both fall to their sides and Trixie pulls Twilight closer. "Just cuddle with me, okay?"

Sighing, Twilight stares at Trixie for a moment before she gives in and lets her head loll. She rests her head against Trixie's chest, letting Trixie wrap her in a hug. Trixie kisses Twilight's forehead and lets out a sound of contentment as they both relax. Finally, Twilight relaxes completely.

"I love you, Twilight."

Twilight smiles and closes her eyes. "I love you, too, Trixie."
