A/N: A short poem on Katniss. Set in Mockingjay. Please review as this is my first Hunger Games fic!

I know I can't cry,
Even though I try.
The rebellion took my sister
And my hunting partner Gale
Peeta was nowhere to be seen,
And I'm all alone,
Far from home.
My tears won't fall
My heart is screaming
But no one responds to my call
We did not even say goodbye,
My world is gone and I want to die.
I wish I was dead
And I'll be free of this
And I will see Prim and Rue again,
The two people I fought for.
My flame of hope was put out
And I have no hope left.
Up from my broken heart grew the light
The everlasting fight in me.
When President Coin came in
And said "Snow's all yours."
But when I heard the truth from Snow,
I realized Coin was very low.
The arrow flew,
Hitting Coin in the head.
She plunged to the ground dead,
And guards are closing in.
I realized this is the time
The time for my death.
I threw down my sheath,
And looked for my nightlock pill.
