A/N: Heylo, everyone! I'm back with another fanfiction, this particular one about my favorite family pairing, Felix and Vanellope! This might stay a oneshot, but it depends on what you guys want! So please review after you finish reading!
Also, I would like to give a huge thanks to the user Shizuku Tsukishima749 for editing my grammar and spelling mistakes. Without her, this story was a trainwreck.

"All clear!" I heard Yuni, the dancer from Dance Dance Revolution, call from her game.
The Nicelanders and I walked downstairs to the front entrance, Mary going over to help Ralph clean himself off. I smiled. It was nice to see Ralph getting more respect.
"Great job, Felix!"
"Wanna hang out, Felix?"
"Thanks for fixing it, Felix!"
I smiled at the compliments and praise, but paused when I heard the train stop at the Niceland station.
I walked around the side of the building, expecting Q*bert, but was greeted by a different familiar face instead. A sniffling Vanellope stepped out of the train car, the lights installed in the platform awning illuminating thin, wet lines on her cheeks. I was shocked. I'd never seen her cry before, not once.
"Vanellope?" I tried, stepping forward cautiously. She jumped and looked up. Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy, and her hair was all over the place.
"Felix!" she exclaimed, and then sighed heavily in relief. "You scared me, damn it!"
I took a step closer and put a hand on her arm. She averted her eyes.
"Are you okay, V?" I asked. She was silent for a minute before she turned back to me.
"I'm perfectly fine, Felix. Just…some stuff happened today."
"What stuff?"
"Stuff…between Luke and me," she answered feebly.
I clenched my fists tightly as my anger rose. So this was how Ralph felt when someone hurts V. "What did he do to you?" I questioned.
"I was on my way to a race when I…s-saw Luke…" she began, her voice getting shaky. "I walked up a-and tapped him on—on the sh-shoulder, but h-he was t-too busy m-making out with T-Taffyta to n-notice. I r-ran here to t-t-talk to R-Ralph..."
By now, Vanellope was shaking and had tears streaming down her face, a few uncontrolled sobs forcing their way from her throat.
I sighed, pained. "Oh, Vanellope…" I pulled her into a close hug and rubbed her back. "It'll be okay. Luke's a jerk. He shouldn't have done that."
"This is all m-my fault…"
I gently pushed her away to look her in the eyes. "No, it's not, Vanellope. Luke should've just told you the truth. It's his fault."
"Felix, no. He cheated on me because I'm a glitch. If I weren't a glitch, he wouldn't have done it," she insisted. The next part she whispered to herself. "If I didn't exist…"
"Vanellope, stop that right now! You mean the world to Ralph and me! You're making me nervous..."
"I'm sorry, but—"
"No buts," I interrupted. "Vanellope, you are a smart, nice, beautiful girl who's fun to be around! Luke doesn't deserve you. You deserve better! You deserve a guy who will treat you right, who isn't a player. Luke wasn't that guy, but you'll find him soon enough."
The fourteen-year-old brightened up a bit. "Thanks, Felix. Luke doesn't even know I saw him anyway. I'll get him tomorrow." She grinned.
"That's my Vanellope."
"Felix, you're a great guy. Thanks."
"For what?"
"For fixing my heart."
I embraced her again and smiled, knowing that Vanellope and I would be closer than ever.
