A/N: This was really based on the latest episode, Kickin' It On Our Own. I was so heartbroken when Kim said she had a boyfriend, and I actually burst into tears! And then later on, when Jack suggested they should ditch practice for date...my heart just went...BOOM!
Disclaimer~ I don't own Kickin' It. But it probably would be better if I did, because then, I would be able to get Kick together immediately.
Three months is a long time. People change. Friendships drift apart. You can try and deny the fact that things are different now, but it will eventually hit you. You can't always run from the truth.
Jack Brewer wasn't an exception. Three months without the dojo changed him a lot. When all his friends went different ways, he wasn't sure what his path would be without them. But deep down, he knew the answer. He had even said it himself, a long time ago. He's not a karate guy, he's a skater.
So he gave up on karate once again. It just seemed that he and karate, they didn't get along. So why keep trying? He swore to never get into his stance again unless it was completely necessary.
Giving up karate isn't the only thing about him that changed. The boy that didn't hesitate to stand up to a bully for anyone and everyone would now tell people to fight their own battles. He didn't get up to help them anymore.
Jack was also seen wearing black more often. Sure, people say clothes don't matter, but they do seem to reflect an aspect of your character to some degree. His colorful personality seemed to be going down the drain.
He went from being the one of the nicest kids in school to one of the bad boys. He just wasn't himself anymore, and no one liked that. But they couldn't do anything.
Even though all this changed in these three months, one thing stayed the same. Jack Brewer would always love Kim Crawford. Even if she had a boyfriend.
Tell me why these roads keep leading,
Leading you right back...to me
