"Is this what it's going to be like for the next few days then?" Donkey Kong wondered to the others who were munching on pieces of bread.
"There'll only be one person left." Bowser confirmed.
KNOCK KNOCK!
"Is that the disease?" Waluigi thought.
"Just check, they wouldn't knock so politely like that." Bowser laughed watching Waluigi open the door to Diddy Kong.
"I was locked out here for nearly two hours if I've been counting correctly. He said.
"We completely for got you." Waluigi laughed, letting him in. "Please, have a snack."
"I was planning on doing that two hours ago." He walked over to the table and snatched a star-bit from the table.
"Where is everybody?" Waluigi started up another conversation.
"Junior is in 415." Bowser explained. "And Koops and the Warlock are over by that huge rock." Bowser pointed to the other hotel's walkway and next to the end of it was a rock, where Zane and Koops are.
"Not sure about the rest."
"Where's Wario... oh, he's err... You know what happened." Diddy Kong looked at the floor.
"He didn't make it." Waluigi moaned.
"We'll I actually saw Luigi and Peach when I was waiting to be let in." Diddy Kong proclaimed. "They are in 407 the floor below us."
"Hold on." Donkey Kong interrupted his son.
"Why would you Wait for two hours outside when you could've knocked back then?"
"Because I didn't want to reveal my place, which will mean yours too." Diddy Kong outsmarted his father...
MEANWHILE...
"Koops! We need to get out of here! That passage led us into the rocks near the diseased!" Zane shouted.
"Sir, calm down, look over there." Koops pointed at a crack in a small cave near the sea.
"A crack." Zane laughed. "How's that going to help us?"
"Give me your knife." Koops asked, when he acquired the knife he ran into the crack and stabbed it into the crack, breaking a part of the cave into pieces, opening a small room with rocks.
"Aha, nice work!" Zane lead Koops into the small cave. "The trees." He said. "Get us some sticks for a fire, I can easily start one."
Koops' POV:
The sun is setting early tonight, 6 o'clock and its hitting the horizon, now I need to get some sticks in order to start the fire to have a warm night. Zane says that he can start the fire easily, I think this will be a good night, but before 8AM, I think, I heard Mario and Jaapayo talk about two people get infected per day, so we better move. I don't want to be ripped up and then acting like a total maniac. Aha, some sticks.
"Aha, you're back!" Zane pleaded Koops as he gave him the sticks; Zane placed them on the floor. He rubbed his hands very quickly and blew air to his hands, sending the heat onto the sticks and they set on fire.
"Exceptional work master." Koops appreciated Zane.
"Yes it is. I'm starving." He moaned.
"We'll find some supplies tomorrow."
"How will we do that?"
"Just wait for the time to come."
LUIGI AND PEACH...
"It's been a while Luigi." Peach was concerned. "Could you check outside of the apartment?"
"Let me see..." Luigi opened the 407 apartment front door and looked along the isle. He could hear a faint voice in the distance.
"Help!" The voice shouted. Luigi could now hear footsteps, they were getting louder. The running person turned the corner into the isle, Luigi was shocked to see Bowser Jr being chased after behind Toadette and Daisy.
"Mamma Mia!" Luigi shrieked.
"Get ready to close the door!" Bowser Jr bellowed. He dashed to the right of Luigi into 407 followed by Luigi who closed the door.
"That was close." Luigi and Bowser Jr gasped, out of breath.
"What's going on?" Peach shouted from another room.
"Nothing much, Bowser Jr is here." Luigi lead Bowser Jr into the front room.
"What are you all doing at the moment?" Bowser Jr asked Luigi.
"Well with no power, and the sun is setting we're about to eat some food here." Luigi replied back.
"I'll go to another apartment. Daisy and Toadette have gone.
"Are you sure?" Luigi insisted Bowser Jr. to stay in 407.
"No it's fine; I'll see what others are doing." Bowser Jr left the room.
Bowser Jr's POV:
They are not of any help to me, since as dad isn't here ill see Rosalina and see what she's doing. Now I believe that she is in the floor 11 penthouse. I must check there, but what if there is anybody that could eat me alive! Well I'm by the stairs and the lift now; the lifts are out of order... Hmm, I don't see any trace of yellow clouds on the stairs to floor 5. There must be nobody up there, except for Rosalina of course.
Floor 6...
Floor 7...
Floor 8...
Floor 9...
Floor 10...
Floor 11, phew that took long, why is the apartment door open. I go inside to see a settee with Rosalina sleeping on it. Oh my, I'm not sure if I should wake her up. I don't think so, I'll just sit here. Wait! The door, I should close that as well.
Now to just sit here and wait for the next day to come...
Hold on, why can't she just use the bedroom? I got up and walked over to a room with a double bed, I tried to test how strong and soft it was.
CRACK!
Uh-oh...
SMASH!
"Oh dear." Bowser Jr got up from the mess he made from the bed and hid inside a cupboard.
"Sweet Lumas!" Rosalina woke up at the same time to look at the mess. "How did this happen so easily?" She looked up and heard some breathing. The cupboard doors cracked and broke apart, revealing Bowser Jr. Rosalina wasn't looking very happy.
"I was having a good sleep until you showed up." She complained. "What are you here for anyway?" Bowser Jr didn't pay attention; he was just looking at her body.
"Don't look there!" She put her hand in front of a crack in her dress which revealed a cleavage line.
"Sorry, I got carried away." Bowser Jr laughed. "I wanted to see what you were doing, I found you sleeping on the settee, I went to see why you weren't using a bed and I tested its durability."
"Well, how did you get in?" Rosalina asked.
"The door was open; you need to be more careful." Bowser Jr insisted.
"I see, do you know the time?" Rosalina continued.
"It's err, 20:20."
"Do you ever think that Bowser is a mean guy?"
"Sometimes, but he is my father and is doing a good job."
"Not all the time."
"Hey!" Bowser Jr made Rosalina laugh. "Come 'ere!" She told Bowser Jr, he jumped onto her and gave her a hug. "You're so adorable!" She said.
"We're going to survive this until the end!" Bowser Jr proclaimed.
"Till the end." Rosalina and Bowser Jr made eye contact. Their heads moved closer to each other. Mouths attached... 10 seconds later, the mouths separated.
"Where's your father?" Rosalina asked.
"He's getting fat with Waluigi and the Kongs." Bowser Jr complained. "Being overweight just looks gross."
"I know, Zane tried it and he was so disgusted he lost all of his gained weight in a day!"
"I think that this place is secure."
"Wait, get up, get some chairs, and move them to the door. I have an idea." Rosalina went into the store-room of the penthouse.
"What will you do?" Bowser Jr watched Rosalina get out a saw and some wood-planks whilst placing chairs by the front door.
"An Escape route." Rosalina walked up to the pillars of the balcony and sawed them off; the she placed a wood-plank on the edge of a side towards the other Hotel's walkway.
"I understand what an exceptional and smart job you did!" Bowser Jr complimented Rosalina work. "What now?"
"What now?" Rosalina walked over to the settee, lied on it and opened her arms out. "We relax."
Bowser Jr's POV:
I cannot believe this is actually happening! This is heaven! Guarantee winning and I'm having a great partnership with Rosalina! Everything is going to plan... I even feel tired...
"Come on, you get some shut-eye on my lap and ill doze off as well in a bit, set your watch's alarm for 7:30." Rosalina ordered Bowser Jr.
"Done that..." Bowser Jr spat out his last words before he fell asleep, cuddling up next to Rosalina, who soon fell asleep afterwards.
Peach and Luigi slept in a double bed at 21:24
Mario and Jaapayo fell asleep in the sun bed room at 21:43
Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong and Bowser slept on settees at 22:01

"Zane I think we should sleep now, we've been talking for four hours now." Koops insisted to Zane.
"I can s-zzzzzzzzz..."
"Well, might as well do the same."
Day 2
7:23AM
"Koops! Get up! We have exactly 37 minutes till the infections begin again!" Zane shouted in his face.
"Yes Master!" Koops shot up. "Where to?"
"Back up the hill!" Zane and Koops rushed up the rocky hill which leads to a part connecting to the other Hotel walkway. Zane and Koops dashed along the walkway, but Zane jumped towards the building and landed in apartment 908.
"Are you sure about this, master?" Koops looked confused as he was getting ready for a run-up.
"You'll make it!" Zane supported Koops as he made the jump, but he missed the floor and fell all the way down to the third terrace.
"Holy shit!" Zane looked down to see Koops in the yellow cloud of the disease. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, nobody's here." Koops whispered back up. Zane looked the right of the balcony of the apartment and there was a small gap between the building and the walkway, on the third floor there was a small area of dirt leading to a wall, which was crossable. This lead to a small stone road with a cracked glass window.
"Go that way." Zane pointed along the passage for Koops to go along. He jumped along the passage and snuck through the broken window.
Koops' POV:
Well, I have no idea where I am yet I think that this place will keep me safe for a while, hold on a second, who is that? I turned two corners and opened a door to see Mario and Jaapayo on either one of their phones.
"Look who's arrived!" Mario greeted Koops.
"Look who's alive." Jaapayo laughed.
"I knew you two were alive. Zane is too." Koops spoke to the other two.
"News, who is diseased?" Mario demanded for answers.
"Toadette, Toad, Daisy, Wario." Koops listed.
"Wario?" Jaapayo thought. "I thought he'd be one of the last in my opinion."
"What are you two doing?" Koops wondered. "It's 7:40."
Mario looked at Jaapayo.
Jaapayo looked at Mario.
"20 minutes! We need to get prepared!" They gasped as they got up and headed out of the glass window, leading to the small area of stone. They climbed back over the wall to the dirt passage and Jaapayo got out his binoculars.
"They're all here..." Jaapayo alerted the other two.
10 MINUTES EARLIER...
Bzzzzzz! Bowser Jr's watch's alarm went off waking Rosalina and Bowser Jr up. Bowser Jr turned off the alarm sound.
"Had a good sleep?" Rosalina kissed his forehead.
"Sure I did." Bowser Jr moved to the other side of the settee, letting Rosalina get up and go to the kitchen; she opened a cupboard and grabbed two star-bits.
"Junior." Rosalina got Bowser Jr's attention, she threw a star-bit at him that he caught. They both munched on theirs. Rosalina set on the settee next to Bowser Jr.
"So, who do you think will become diseased today?" She asked Bowser Jr.
"Luigi and Peach. They're the most vulnerable" he laughed.
"Where are they?" She looked at him.
"407."
"Yeah, I don't mind them really, I don't know them anyway." I'll probably see them at the star festival in four years, you going?"
"I hope so." Rosalina got up and looked out of the balcony. "1 minute left..." She said as Bowser Jr got up from the settee, he stood next to Rosalina, who put her arm around his shoulder.
MEANWHILE...
"ALL UP!" Bowser roared at the other three. "It's only a minute till the infections!" Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong and Waluigi all got up and looked out of the 521 balcony.
MEANWHILE...AGAIN...
"Peach." Luigi said.
"What?" She replied.
"It's time, we need to prepare." He got out of bed and Looked out of 407's balcony.
"10." Zane said.
"9." Diddy Kong said.
"8." Mario said.
"7." Peach said.
"6." Bowser Jr said.
"5." Jaapayo and Koops said.
"4." Waluigi said.
"3." Luigi said.
"2." Donkey Kong and Bowser said.
"1." Rosalina said.
