"Jamie."

My eyes snapped open and my head flew forward. Only to be latched right back onto the cold stone wall. My eyes darted around the room. It was dark. Oh so very dark. Where am I? Who is he? I tried to scream, but my voice was only muted by black swirls of sand that seemed to glue my mouth shut. Tears began to stream down my cheeks.

"Hush boy." A menacing figure with amber eyes and golden teeth placed an ash colored finger onto my trembling lips. "Listen to me." He snapped his fingers and the sand seemed to vanish. I took in a sharp breath.

"Jack! JACK!" I yelled, my voice reverberating through the cavern .Suddenly, I felt a burning sensation on my right cheek as my head was thrown backwards.

"I said hush." He hissed. "Now I want you to tell me. Where are they?" I looked back up at him. Something in my head clicked and the horrible memories seemed to rush back into me. Pure panic raced through my veins as that familiar cold sensation flew down my spine. It's you. Oh, it's you.

"PITCH!" Hot tears erupted from my swollen eyes yet again.

And I cried.

I cried, and cried, and cried. My face was forced upward to meet the eyes of the devil. But something was different. He wasn't angry. No, he was scared. Tears seemed to fall slowly from his own golden orbs as his teeth seemed to rake against his bottom lip. Pitch's grip seemed to tighten and a low growl was heard from the back of his throat.

"Jamie! W-Where are they? TELL ME!"

"I-I don't know! I just don't know…"

He looked at me, his face filling up with rage. "Don't give me that you insolent fool! Of course you know!" A long black dagger appeared in one of his trembling hands and aimed the tip right at my throat.

"Tell me, Jamie. I need to know." His voice was shaking. Something is wrong.

"Please! I don't know, Pitch! I DON'T KNOW!" The Nightmare King sighed and lowered the weapon from view. "Of course you don't. " He turned away, resting his head on his knees.

"Jamie. I-I don't know if you'll understand this, but you need to listen." I nodded my head forcefully.

"There is something out there. So very powerful that I figured it must not exist." He turned to face me. "But it does, how stupid of me to not see this." He sighed again. "Jamie-"

"I need your help."
